Automatic icons of the Organization Office, auto arrange is DISABLED.

Hello.

Today my icons are accommodating on the left side of my screen like automatic reorganization is enabled. which is NOT the case. I tried turning power switch with toggeling snap to grid as well as in various combinations, all with no effect on the issue.

I tried some of the fix registry mentioned in other posts here, also without success, the question of fixing. I even tried to do a selective startup upward, all disable anything microsoft services too, which did not fix the issue.

OnTop of that it apears when I restart my computer not only is done also auto arrange my icons (even if its still not controlled), but he changes the size of the icon in the Middle, even if it was set to classic (small) when I restarted the computer.

When I tried to do a restore of the system just seems to say "the initialization of the restore point" and is, do nothing. I leave on this screen for about an hour before, I stopped the restoration.

I also ran a virus scan (avg) that no matter what pick and a registry Fixer (ccleaner). registery Fixer has established a large number of errors but has not fixed the problem I have.

This quite frustrating cause I duo monitors and I prefer some of my quick links on my second monitor, so I can open programs with duty reduce my current window.

Anyone have any ideas?

  • Installation of the icon of the ThinApp Office in view 5.0

    Hello

    For some reason, the 2nd ThinApp application that I have assigned to a pool of desktop installs well but does not create an icon of office on the computer virtual himself.

    My first ThinApp has worked well and has created the icon.

    Anyway is to push the icon on the desktop in view manager?

    I can access the location of the program within the virtual machine and run it from there, but ideally would like created for each installed ThinApp desktop icon.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Peter.

    Assuming that SAPgui.exe was the entry point.

    Add this to the file package.ini

    Shortcuts=%Desktop%

    [SAPgui.exe]
    Shortcut = saplgpad.exe
    Disabled = 1
    Source=%ProgramFilesDir%\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\SAPgui.exe
    ; Change ReadOnlyData to bin\Package.ro.tvr to build in the old versions(4.6.0 or earlier) of tools
    Types of files = .sap
    Shortcuts = % Office

    Now save the file and run build.bat to recompile the package thinapp in the bin directory.  You must run build.bat on the workstation or server you have installed Thinapp on.

    After I loaded standard CS6 64-bit on my DELL XPS 8, the Office file windows icons appear as an icon of white box with a green arrow instead of icons Adobe. All other icons appear correctly. I have Illustrator CS5 on my hard drive and before I loaded CS6 CS5 icons displayed correctly. Thank you in advance for helping me with this problem.

    Hi Adam,.

    I figured this out. I opened the default programs - Illustrator was missing a file type to associate with the program (why it showed the white icon with green bar). I assigned to the Illustrator file with the program Illustrator type. Turn it back on. Solved the problem... Yes!

    Well, I have therefore 2 monitors.  I love what auto fix, it helps me always keep very organized.  Well, my office is getting super crowded.  I log in and the icons on my second monitor are off the screen of my primary monitor.

    So.  I want to use automatic reorganization, but all my icons go off the screen.

    Is it possible that without changing my main monitor that I can get everything to align to the left of my second monitor and through the screen on my only primary.

    That's what I'm aiming for.

    Icons lined up on the left.  Any way to do this, or any program that can do this?  Already found something that allows me to have a double task bar, but I still have to find something like that

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft community. I will certainly help you with the problem you are experiencing.

    To keep the icons on the extended screen, you must either make the main screen or you must disable arrange. Arrange the feature will organize the icons on the screen main itself.

    -Are you using the monitors in extend mode or double?

    You can consult the following Microsoft articles for more information about the monitor options.

  • When I restart my PC Windows XP desktop icons auto arrange on the left side of the screen.

    On the screen of "rearrange icons by", "Auto arrange" is unchecked. !!!

    I use the app "icon Restorer" to move my icons to how I arranged the on the desktop, but every time that I reboot the desktop icons auto arrange themselves on the left side of the screen.

    What can I do to keep my static desktop icons (and not self organization after reboot)?

    Hello Henry

    The list in two steps below are users in another thread about the same exact issue. Try the steps suggested, let me know they help. Thank you.

    Mysoul

    Hi there, have you tried? Click with the right button on a blank space on your desktop, highlight the icons on the desktop, check on "locking up icons" and organize the uncheck'auto?

    or

    securityguy14

    When you say "LOCK icon on my desktop items" I assume you mean to stop to rearrange a reboot? If that's what you mean, so just copy paste then whats below into Notepad, then click on "file > save under...". "in the part superior, save it to the desktop. When you save the 'Save as type' change to 'Documents text (*.txt)' to 'All Files' and name it anything with a .reg extension. Close everything and then click on the file and select "merge". also, you want to make sure to add the part "Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00".» This registry setting records the position of items on the desktop when you turn off

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
    "NoSaveSettings" = hex (3): 00, 00, 00, 00

    Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk...

  • How to organize the order of the icons on the touch screen of the printer? (Office Jet Pro 8600)

    I use the touch screen only to scan documents. It's annoying to scroll through a series of unused icons to achieve the scan icon whenever I turn. How to reorder the icons so that the "Scan" icon is on the main home screen (on an iPhone that would be just pressed until it's mobile, but it does not work here).

    You can customize the selection and order of the icons in the Apps folder, but I can't figure out how to move the other icons. Come on HP, your intuitive user interface needs some attention

    Thank you!

    There is no option to rearrange the icons of an Officejet Pro 8600. Icons available is determined by the firmware of the printer and is immutable.
