  I got a HP LaserJet CP1525nw color about 2 months ago. After about 4 weeks, I noticed a print quality begins to degrade. Black started first by streaks and fading.   There are a few things of different which could cause print quality begin to deteriorate on printouts. My guess is that the printer may need to be cleaned and / or calibrated.

  I have a new BT Hub 3 business and I'm trying my HP Laserjet P2055dn printer to the hub with an Ethernet network cable. The address of the printer - 192.168.2.2 IPv4 is not compatible. I said that I have to change the IP address of the printer, but I can't go in the settings of the printer because I can not load the printer on the system. I can load it directly on a computer using a UBS, but then again could not find where to go to change the IP address.

  Hi Gavin

  Please follow the steps below to disable the manual IP configuration and let me know if this is useful:

  1. press OK.
  2. press the arrow down to Appers network config .
  3. press OK

  4 locate the TCP/IP CFG option, and then click OK.

  5. be sure to set both BOOTP and DHCP as YES.

  6 confirm the changes, turn the printer off and turn it back on.

  7. press OK. and nevigate in the reports menu, select this option to print a report of the network and to check if the changes that summer applied.

• HP LaserJet P2055dn: Feeling strange problem with HP LaserJet P2055dn

  This printer has worked almost flawlessly, but, suddenly and without apparent reason, it does not print a document just created in WordPerfect, something that has never happened before. The document is simple text - using Gnuolane Rg, a police, I found and downloaded and which worked very well in other documents recently - and this document does not no unusual formatting. The printer is fine with everything else, including other documents using this font.

  Hello, the easiest fix is to change the PCL 5 PCL 6 driver. PCL XL error is one of the many problems that PCL 6, others include empty gibberish, advertising page before each use.

  49 errors are errors of firmware.  Firmware is the operating system of the printer and if it becomes confused it gives an error of 49. A number of things you can do to try to limit the error.  First of all, you want to go to the site web of hp and support to go to the drivers and download the latest firmware for your printer.  If your operating system does not list the firmware, just go to the 32-bit XP as the firmware appears here.  The same file works for all systems.  The printer must be in a ready state when you perform the upgrade.  You will want to remove all print jobs that may be in the printq which have not printed to avoid problems.  After upgrading the firmware, you want to go the same site and download the latest driver for your printer.  You can use the universal driver or the postscript driver.

  I have horizontal red streaks across the top and the bottom of my printing page.  I'm only printing in black.  I tried the cleanup utility and have had no success

• LaserJet CP1215: Color CP1215 print quality - Windows 8.1

  Systematically print very dark colors.  I printed from Word, Adobe PDF viewer and Photoshop all with the same results.   I installed new cartridges and have installed the latest driver.  Since there is no available since Windows 8.1 Toolbox - have not found any way to print the configuration page - hold the results just RESUME button in the gree light of power is flashing but nothing prints.  It seems not to be possible to print a cleaning page.  I'm at a loss what to try to fix this.

  I have downloaded and run the HP print and Scan Doctor 4.6 and everything out OK, the test print that comes out seems OK for me but I don't know what it is supposed to look like.  The cyan block seems a little light.

  I see that you have problems with the dark printing. I'd love to help you.

  You can adjust the brightness in the application you are printing from, if this isn't a problem with the hardware with the printer.

  You use windows built in driver or did you download the Plug-and-Play drivers?

  HP Color LaserJet Plug-and-Play package.

  Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem.

  Solving print quality problems. Go to eight Solution: print a configuration page. Is it printed correctly then it would be software related. Let me know the results and how to print the configuration page. Please go well the steps contained in the document. Unfortunately, you'll skip the steps of the box tool.

  If the problem is still related software, you can continue with the following steps:

  Make sure that the correct paper type is selected in the print driver and he is not in default to unspecified.

  What kind of paper do you use?
