Lasso tool polygon binding angles trying to add to the selection with the SHIFT key

Since upgrading (downgrading?) of Photoshop CS6 Extended Photoshop CC I have a problem with the lasso tool of polygon limited at certain angles when you try to add to a selection.

Here's the scenario, I select a color background with the magic wand tool, then I would like to add a few things to the selection, so I click on the polygon lasso tool and hold the SHIFT key to add to the playlist and then start to use the polygon lasso tool... often very randomly the polygon lasso tool will limit his movements to a 90 degree angle Sometimes something that seems like an angle of 30 degrees and sometimes he'll do any.

I'm doing something wrong or is this a bug?

The SHIFT key has two functions in the creation of a selection.  The first is as you know to add to any selection using another selection tool.  The second is forced to angles in drawing and selection, but also rotation tools.  So for your example, you have to hold down the SHIFT key when you click on to add to your selection using the polygon lasso tool, but after making the first click with the tool, Photoshop knows that you want to add to the selection.  So do not hold the SHIFT key after the first click, otherwise Photoshop assumes that you also want to compel the angles drawing of your choice.  (Unless that's what you really want to)

    Try another keyboard, if that solves your problem is faulty and should be replaced.

    In General, if you click anywhere with a tool that you run on an image, then hold down the SHIFT key and click somewhere else, the tool will be traced in a straight line from the previous point to the current point.  This is very useful under certain conditions.

    However, I was just with the Quick Selection tool to select the shadow of a microphone, and this is an attempt to drag along the straight line by holding down the SHIFT key has done nothing.

    That's how the lasso tool works. If you want to add to a selection, hold down SHIFT key when starting a new selection. If you want to remove, hold down the alt/opt key. You can also try the polygon lasso tool. You can simply straight, but you set a line at a time and that you do not have to worry about taking your finger on the mouse button.

    You can press the SPACEBAR shortcut to activate the hand tool temporarily once you are finished with the selection on a part of the image.

    Then, move the image with the key space key and let it continue with the selection by using the magnetic lasso tool.

    You can use the SHIFT key to add to the selection by using the magnetic lasso tool.

    But you can try this solution:

    1 use the Lasso tool to select the anchor (now anchor for various objects, but not all points you have selected objects).

    2. use to Select > Inverse. It will reverse but will select entire objects

    3. use select > Inverse again.

I have a few controls hSlider and I'm trying to add up the values of the hSliders... the hSliders min value is 200... the problem I have is that it seems that the value of the hSliders are not defined until the cursor is moved - so the total value, I'm at the beginning is NaN... once I moved all hSliders in different positions then it will total up to suggestions. THX

    Code looks like it should return 0.  You can do a small test case that reproduces the problem?

    You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

    You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

    Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.
