Last updated for XP window Cause my system to a slower start

My system has been configured for automatic update my Win XP Pro sp3, and there was an update from July 8 to 11 with 8 updates.   After the system update, I noticed that my system has taken a lot longer to boot from a boot cold.

I restored my system just before the update and it starts a lot faster.   I've always had my automatic update on the system found the update, and I tried again a few days later and it always starts very slow.

I just turn off my automatic update, so I would get this update.   I thought I'd go back just before the update.

Can someone help me please.

Thank you

G

I think he just needs to get this update to a better place hard, I don't know if Windows XP automatically defragments system files

Slow loads are often caused by fragmentation as a file is allocated on the disk so eye of disk drive would need of more time to read the entire file
It will be great if you expect that windows defragments it or defragment yourself with the disk defragment inside windows or with a 3rd party software (preferably one with a boot defrag option, so it can defragment system files)
