Hard restarting does not help, neither do not connect the unit to aMacBookPro. When I do this, iTunes complains that it can not connect because the iPad 'expires '. Now it is disconnected, but I can't turn it off. Even close the lid will not extinguish it. Any ideas?

    A common problem on a MAC, less frequent on Windows based on my reading of the reports here in this forum

    You don't have WRITE permission in the folder where Lightroom is trying to copy the photos to (this file is put in the import dialog box in the Destination panel), so change your permissions.

    For future reference, the 201 is not the error code and no use for us here, it's the number of photos that are affected by this error. In the future, just give the complete error message.

    All sites worked fine before v8.0 and 9.0. But now many sites (for example, newegg.com & baltimoresun.com) won't load.     I have the latest version of photoshop CC. As the update to 10.8.5 Lion PS CC mountain lion does not work correctly. Many of the tools I give 'cannot use the tool due to the program error. " It's useless! I installed the latest version of photoshop CC. It worked fine before. I can't use the pipette, but the clone tool is very good. The painting tools are very good. Several other tools give this error. I do not see why some work and some do not.

    Everything is identical to what existed before imac 2011 - late with loads of memory and a wacom bamboo with an ancient Tablet graphire Tablet driver. No hardware has changed so there must be a software error any. The driver of the Tablet is the most recent works with the Tablet I and who works with the mountain lion.     I recently tried Win 8 on my VAIO laptop spare parts on which I ran Vista, after having previously deleted all the files and documents (I don't use often the laptop). Having concluded that Win8 will really work correctly with a touch screen (and the display size was bad as well), I uninstalled WIN 8, understand that I have to re - install Vista from my rescue disks. This I tried successfully a few months previously to make a clean reinstall. However, after removing 8 WIN via the Control Panel, I can't re - install Vista now. All I get is a black screen with a message "The operating system not found" and the rescue disks do not register. What can I do? I like Vista (although I now run Win 7 on my PC) and really want to put it back. Grateful for the advice.

    Well I finally fixed it by tweaking the BOOT BIOS settings and find something along the lines of VAIO Setup. I'm afraid, I just don't remember exactly what I did, but suddenly I found and ran 'VAIO Hardware Diagnostics' gave me a heart when it announced "no error was detected on the Vaio. Then I saw there was an entry for 'VAIO Recovery Utility - Recovery Wizard' and everything started to load. Since the 2 recovery discs I had. Finally, I ran MS Office and Small Business CD-ROM and now everything is back the way that it used to be. Here I had taken more note of how I got to the well Recovery Wizard. I hope that I never have to do it again!

    To run an exe containing NEITHER-IMAQ for USB functions, follow these steps on the computer that is running the EXE file:

    1. Install the following execution engines:

      • LabVIEW Run - time Engine (same version that was used to develop the VI)
      • Execution of vision engine (same version that was used to develop the VI)
        • One Vision single-seater deployment license is required for each computer target on which you install the runtime of the Vision. See all the related links for more details.
    2. Copy the following dll files to the directory on your development computer system, usually C:\Windows\system32 directory of your target machine system.
      • ImaqDirectShowDll.dll
      • ImaqDirectShowExport.dll
    3. Register at ImaqDirectShowExport.dll by the Windows Start Menu , click run. Type regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\system32\ImaqDirectShowExport.dll, and then click OK to register the DLL.

      If you are on a different operating system or if the system folder is different and that you want to copy the path instead of typing all the way, you can drag the file to the command line at the prompt to run it, highlight the path, right-click and select it copy.  Paste in the command prompt by right-clicking and selecting window block.

      The ImaqDirectShowDll doesn't have to be registered.

    Once these steps are completed, and the DLL is registered successfully, your EXE will work.  Vision Acquisition software or Vision Development Module must be installed on the target computer.
