• Latitude E4310 wifi does not work

  Hi, I had a Latitude E4310 recently, which had a dead HDD. I had to put my own disk in it and load my own copy of Windows 7 Pro on it. Everything works except the wifi. I tried all the drivers available for this model, but they say just something in the sense of the laptop not having not compatible equipment. And Yes, the switch on the side is on and I have tried in both positions. In Device Manager, I see nothing in the sense of "wireless card".

  I even tried to put in my card wifi mini-pci-e, intel 5100 wifi link, fully install all the drivers and software. That did not work, either - he picked up as well as all drivers intel, but in Device Manager it says he "could not start".

  This model comes standard with wifi? Do I have to go and buy a special dell wireless card and install it?

  I use Windows XP 2002 SP3 on a Dell Latitude E4300 laptop, connect to a router Linksys WRT54G, providing a network home WPA2-Personal (TKIP + AES).

I see that my Airport Express is available but when Airfoil tries to connect, it comes up saying that "it seems that a firewall on this computer prevented Airfoil to connect to Airport Express xxx. Please check your firewall settings and try again. ».
  I put Airplay and iTunes as exception in my Windows Firewall configuration and even added 5000 to 5005 TCP and UDP ports 6000-6005 such exceptions recommended by the wing. When I bought the laptop it is everything I had... the laptop, manuals, disks etc. I want to increase the memory on the laptop 6 GB but have read that I need 64 bit vista to take advantage of this.

  Recently, I was testing OBIEE dashboard reports using two types of laptops, and strangely, I get different performance for both machines.

  Hi, I recently started the Test PassMark Burn-In version 7 on my i7-2630QM Latitude E6420 with Nvida NVS 4200 M 512 M card. During the test, I noticed that the temperature of the GPU is about 103C and software reported "Test failure" due to the high temperature.

  It is a known problem with the E6420 14 "laptop and the Quad core CPU. I have an E6420 and E6520. The E6520 manages the heat much better and higher out of GPU and 95 c 85 CPU when you run Diablo 3 for an hour on the resolution max and max graphics settings.   My laptop comes with the heatpipe heatsink only, he would downclock the CPU because of excessive heat and same judgment. After I got the radiator double pipe with a new thermal pad, my time is up to 100 ° C max on CPU and GPU and cell phone stops is more due to overheating.

  The problem is Dell packed plenty of power in a computer 14 "laptop. When running at load max, the cooling system can not just keep it up.
