It would be more useful if one of you would make a list of hierarchy of complexity of programs - less more complex - then we can evaluate my level of knowledge and to climb the ladder until I find a program that allows me to do what I want to do for now and leaves me room to grow.   I don't want to buy Creative Suite, until I know more, and then I think I can do the thing plan member because the technology continues to change.   I was recently introduced to Photoshop through work and I use it for an amount of things to many successful however recently after using a tinkering with the Brush tool and background/foreground color in the Toolbox I am unable to return to change colors of background/outline. I searched online a fair bit for all solutions to this problem, but nothing helped. Whenever I paint forms that they simply appear as colorless with no fill or stroke and just sketch it that I drew. Could someone please direct me how to change the icon of the 2 area (x button) to return to the power change and change my background/border colors? I understand that it is probably quite simple, but it feels like I hit a brick wall with a lot of sharp rusty nails sticking out it >. <

  Thank you for the update. If you notice anything important missing, as the parameters for an add-on, you can open this prefs.old file in a text editor and probably find it in there. We'll be there if you need help in this sense.

  No, you can't.  The tables have to share almost everything except the real value of the data.  As mentioned, you can use a second indicator to indicate your values of interest.  If you just want to change the background color, you can make a table of squares of color which lies behind the numbers array.  Make the background of the numbers (and the transparent table container.  You can do it 'look' as the BG of the numbers is changing.  The FG Color is not as easy.

  A (maybe better) alternative is to use a table or a listbox control to display your table.  They allow you to change the colors of the cells.  You will need to convert your table to an array of strings.  If your table is small, the hit on the treatment will be not significant.  But if you have REALLY large picture, you'll notice put worn times on day of the table/list box.

  Who's going to be a difficult path to travel to this topic. Even if you can get all the properties of the active document and the layers within the document, you have not dealt with pixels on a normal layer data. You will need to save this broad as well. And for dynamic objects and linked smart objects... you have a job to do. Any topic of a document is not capable 'get '.

  Trying to cope with this: "document might already be narrow" would be almost impossible IMO.

  Remember, the source document, which is now closed I now want to copy. Then you can do:
