  • Is it possible to enumerate all URLS in the Acrobat file?

I want to produce a list of all the hyperlinks in the PDF file.

I'm trying to verify that the URL in an Acrobat file is accurate.  It is not just a matter of checking whether they are "valid" that is, do not lead to an error 404 or other error.

In this case, I need to check which file they reference without clicking on each one. I would like to do a lot of files, so that I can see what files link expired files that may still be on the server.

    Thank you.

Acrobat have a built-in feature to this, but check out the plug-in, AutoBookmark which has a number of features for reporting and validation of links: https://www.evermap.com/abm_lnk_summary.asp#Fixing file link errors in document sets

  • Problem, create a PDF file by dragging a doc on Acrobat file, after installing Office Mac 2016

We have recently installed Office 2016 on a couple of Macs at work. We have XI of Acrobat Pro installed, and the other has the version of Creative Suite (Acrobat Pro DC) subscription. After you have installed Office 2016, we have two different problems when trying to create a PDF file from a doc or docx file by dragging the Word on Acrobat file (which we always used to do before, without any problems):

    1. on the computer with Acrobat Pro XI, drag the Acrobat doc file try to open Word 2016 with Acrobat, but then gives an error (cannot open Word) and the process stops. Do drag directly on doc file Word can open without error, and drag a PDF Acrobat file opens without error. We have tried to reinstall Microsoft Office and Acrobat and of course restarting the computer, but without success - the problem persists. Before installing Office 2016, the conversion would happen almost immediately, without the word being opened in the background.

    2. on computer 2, it's a different problem. The process works, but when you drag the file doc on Acrobat Pro DC, it begins to convert, but then he said that additional permissions are required to access the files (the way it gives looks like: private/var/folders/hn/vpyjby8d7r34y68chxfx9mpc0000gn/T/Acr175842024411136-91550.tmp) I have to then click on "Select" and grant access to the folder. It wouldn't be a problem if this were to be done once, but she does whenever I try to convert a doc in this way file (the path is always the same, but the .tmp file is always different). I thought it may be a permissions problem - do a read the information on file shows (/ T /) read & write access to me and "no access" for "everyone." I tried to settle temporarily "read and write" access to "everyone", but that did not help. Is there another way to give access to the applications in a folder without having to manually grant whenever an action?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer a solution to these two problems!

Integration between older versions of Acrobat (11 and earlier versions) and office 2016 will not be forthcoming. You need Acrobat DC for that integration. Sorry!

  • Sometimes when you view an Acrobat file created by others, square replace some characters.  How can I stop this?

Sometimes when you view an Acrobat file created by others, square replace some characters.  How can I stop this?

    Hi John -.

It seems that no one has answered your question. Sorry for the long wait!

Squares can replace characters when you're dealing with missing fonts, or who are poorly integrated. It is important to see the text, you can ask the person creating the document to convert the PDF image pages PDF file, which then displays the fonts.

Places instead of the characters may appear if you are using a scanned page, for example and capture the text.

  • Whenever I have save my PSD, it automatically rasterizes all text layers within the entire file. Help

I'm an Art Director who is very familiar with the following Adobe CC - but something strange happening that I can't understand. I'm working on a project that must constantly updated Web pages when providing info, etc. changes - so I need to make small alterations quick both imaging and copying. My big problem is everytime I save the PSD, it automatically rasterizes all text layers within the entire file. I have never experienced this problem before - and it's super super frustrating. Help

    Hi steffi_steff,

Would suggest to reset the preferences of Photoshop to the default state and then try to save the PSD file.

You can follow this link to reset the Photoshop preferences:

  • How to export multiple layers to separate PDF files?

I just upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite and all my CC Adobe until 2015. So far I love it, but I have a nagging problem: export layers to separate PDF files.

My file has 38 layers, each of them must be separated in PDF format, so I use the script that is embedded in SaveDocsAsPDFs. The first time I run it, it ends up split on most files, but not all, so I thought I'd run it once again: no chance. Whenever I run the present, he eventually put all the active layers in a pdf from single page instead of save them as individual PDF files. I've spent the better part of two hours online hunting and are all I can find third-party scripts that actually do what I need, rather than use the builtin scripts.

Is there a way someone can help me with this problem? I'll have much, much more files like that and I would use the original if possible script. It is everything on a Mac. Specs below.

    Mac Pro

    Quad-Core Intel Xeon

    3.2 GHz

    32 GB

The SaveDocsAsPDFs allows to save multiple documents open simultaneously in artificial intelligence to separate files. He doesn't have layers in separate documents. You can use one of the scripts that you got to do what you want.

You have to pay a subscription to be able to send files via acrobat files?

    Hi karenw94961112,

You can use Adobe send to create an anonymous link to your file without a subscription (and then post this link on a blog or a website or send it using your own email client). But, if you want to send custom invitations and take full advantage of the tracking features, you will need a subscription.

    I hope that helps!

  • Download Acrobat new subscription will eliminate the existing Acrobat files?

    Hello world

I am a member of the University faculty who had Acrobat installed on my work computer from home. A student this term plagiarized a document and visiting the paper mill, that paper was plagiarized from, my computer has been infected by a virus. Ultimately this made it necessary to install most software Dell systems drive in my computer. However clearly Dell reinstalled a somewhat different membership Adobe Acrobat during the repair process. I used to be able to edit my PDF files directly from the document without having to export to Word (for example). I need it for my work, so I clicked on the option 'subscribe to this feature' on one of my existing PDF files. I learned shortly that I am committed to pay $19.99 / month for the privilege to edit my PDF files in any mode. However, when I try to do anything - I'm unable to change the text.

Most likely it is for the reason that I have not clicked a button somewhere that says 'download software' now (for my 'new' subscription). But I'm worried: I have a lot of existing Acrobat files that are essential to my life on my computer (even though I can't change an any of them now!). If I download my "new subscription"), what will happen to my existing files? If I have the existing version of Acrobat, and try to download a new, will be for this purpose (for example replace) my existing files? Sorry to sound paranoid and perhaps naïve but given my experience above, maybe you will understand. Can anyone help?

Thanks for your reply. I discovered that the new subscription download do not erase my files. Thank you

  • Replacement of all PSD layers when a PSD file name has changed

Does anyone know how to quickly add a link to all layers in a PSD file, if the name of the PSD file has been changed?  At present, it seems that I have to add a link to each individual one layer.

For example, I have a PSD with 100 + layers imported in my project, but I would now like to rename the PSD file. Of course, when I do this, AE sees the PSD as 'missing' and there seems to be no way to add a link to all layers for new PSD file name?  I have to click on each individual layer and replace one by one.

    Any ideas?

    See you soon

Nope. It's just how it works. AE has no way to know about this either on changes to your PSD files, since the structure of PSD files is not persistent - a simple reorganization of the layers can make a mess. Where EI is able to reference absolute paths with all the disadvantages.

  • How can I unflatten layers in my photoshop file? CS5.5 extended

How can I unflatten layers in my photoshop file? CS5.5 extended

Have you clicked on flatten image?  If you save the project and closed out of Photoshop has no way to unflattening the image.  If you have not yet registered, you can cancel using the history panel?

In the future, I would like to put another version of the project before you flatten the image.  Or, you can duplicate and flatten the layer groups all at once. Simply select the layers you want to flatten, click right over them, select duplicate layers and press Command-E to merge the layers.  You can also right click on the layer and choose Merge layers.

If you duplicate the layers in a first time you can just delete the merged layer and return to your original layers to make other changes.  This way of working is called non-destructive editing.  I always double-layered before working on them.

  • What helps an Adobe Acrobat file

How to activate an Adobe Acrobat file in my Word 2010 7 system program for editing?  Can I opoen the file, but it won't let me make changes.

As Word is not directly edit PDFs, maybe convert the PDF into a Word document might work for you.

In the Acrobat X menu: file > save as > Microsoft Word > Word Document

Make your changes in Word, then

convert to PDF Acrobat Word tab.
