Legend on table

Hello!

I'm wondering how to set the caption for the table data.

For example, I want to drink in the first column, on food second and third desert to the legend. I get table numbers only drunk, that I can't

find how to legend for all the columns in the table.

Here is my program.

drink food desert
3 5 5
2 6 6
2 7 23

Thank you for your response.

Hello Diouf,

Yes, it is as I thought, but from my side, I'll really use the Table control. He is looking for professional, and you can change the size of each row/column during the race...

    I am new to Dreamweaver and I can't find how to add a caption tag to a table in Dreamweaver design. I see that I can specify the legend when creating the table, but I can not find how do afterwards. I use DW CS3.

    go to preferences of dw, accessibility.
    put a check mark in the Tables and all the others that you want to be invited.

    now when you insert a new table, there will be a box caption and summary (box)
    This show. You can change the caption in design mode. to change an existing one
    Summary you would have to use split code view or select

    tag in the selector for quick tag on the margin of the bottom of the design window, and then click
    the editor of quick tag at the top right of the property inspector to change the
    attribute of the tag Summary table.

  • HR 9,01 table legends Format problem

    I created WebHelp in RH 8 / CHT 2.5. The legends of the table are fine, Arial, blue, italic

    I made a few minor updates to the table of contents (not the legend) in FM 10 / CHT 3.0.

    I open the project in RH9 / TC 3.0 and regenerate.

    The table caption is Times Roman black.

    I can't change the legend of table format to be anything besides than Times Roman black.

    The HR records show the correct format.

    Here is what I tried:

    I tried manually insert a table and put in the form of the legend.

    I tried to create a CHM file instead of a file from WebHelp. The same problem.

    I tried with two different projects. The same problem.

    I did not create a new project.

    Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

    Thanks for the clues.

    I tried to attach screenshots here, but I have disabled IE tweaks, because nothing happens when I click on the camera.

    Welcome to our community

    I will start by saying openly that I am a big ole frame ignoramous. I'm a guy of RoboHelp.

    I think for the style more precisely my legends of table I first have to change the CSS file by using Windows Notepad. Pop the following code in the file:

    Once you do this, your dialog box Styles will have an entry of legend in the other category you can format.

    Seems to work on my own setup. I hope it will work for you.

    See you soon... Rick

  • How can I reapply style to data in a data table Spry HTML CSS?

    Hello.  I have Adobe CS6 installed on my computer and am new to the use of Adobe.  This is my first post.  To learn Dreamweaver, I read the book Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 Classroom in a Book.  I now do the Lesson 13 and will have trouble to do the part up to step 21 on page 342.  I have a Spry data table in two ranks, but he lost the CSS style applied in Lesson 7.  I can't reapply.  For example, the title was drawn on pages 194 and 195 using the legend of table content section.  To try to apply a new style, I chose the title, but did not see the style in the drop of class in the property inspector.  Otherwise, I control-click on the style in the CSS Styles Panel, apply in the context menu has been grayed out.  The following two sections of the Lesson 13, HTML data update and work with XML data seem to work very well however.  The second data table Spry to two rows, using XML data, has all the CSS styles.  The first table used in HTML, the file calendar.html (XHTML)data.  I couldn't find a table called calendar.html in the folder of resources 07 lesson (step 1 on page 184).  There is another difference between HTML and XML tables.  When the XML table has been transformed into a Spry data set, it lost the ID created in Lesson 9.  By following the instructions in step 11, page 343, it was added to the XML table.  The table using HTML data kept his ID when he became a Spry data set.

    Here is a screenshot showing the HTML above and XML tables downstairs.

    I hope someone can explain why the table HTML lost its style CSS and how it can be reapplied.  I tried to carefully follow all of the steps in the book.  Thank you.

    Screen Shot 2016-03-10 at 17.01.54.png

    Look at the CSS file and, for example, see the following resources

    . Happy section table {}

    do-size: 90%;

    Width: 740px;

    margin left: 15px;

    border-bottom-width: 3px;

    border-bottom-style: solid;

    border-bottom-color: #060;

    border-collapse: collapse;

    }

    He translated means that you apply a style to an array element inside a section element that is inside an element with a class of content.

    Now, take a look at the markup and see

    Classes and green events

    Here we see a table inside an element with a class of content. Compared to the style rule, the section element is missing.

    Add

    and don't forget the closing (
    ) tag. The markup becomes

    Classes and green events

  • What makes this look pretty - use tables.

    I'm having some difficulty with the tables on my page.  As you can see, I have two tables that compare the standard amenities for the extras included with the condominium.

    http://test.taffyproductions.com/Interior.htm

    I put the table how I wish, but they seem rather low.  I wish that the items listed to appear more closely together in regard to height and have the title of each table to be further above vertically than now.

    I played with the properties of the row for the table height in my CSS rules, and I can't get the list items to stack more closely and have titles for each table to be still far away.

    I was also thinking to have the page to display as a grid... is it possible?

    All the other tips on making look more uniform and more professional would be great!

    Thank you!

    Gary

    First off you need to solve this problem - there are two body tags:

    Change them to this:

    To answer your question, I'd do it (a) put an id on this table (I chose "list") (b) suggest to each column in a td unique rather than having each item in its own td, as follows:

    Standard equipment

    • Full

    •
    • Kitchen
    • Microwave oven

    •
    • Oven
    • Phone
    • Coffee machine

    •

    • Internet high speed

    •
    • Lanai - bridge

    •
    • Mixer

    •
    • Bed deported

    •

    • In-room safe

    •
    • Ceiling fans

    •
    • Security 24 hours

    •
    • Free parking

    •

    • Dining table for 6

    •
    • Dishwasher

    •
    • TV

    •
    • Iron and ironing board

    •

    Note my cell widths are wrong - you'll have to play with them.

    Then add this css to css file main yoru:

    table #lister ul {}
    margin: 10px;
    padding: 0px;
    list-style: none;
    }
    table #lister caption {}
    padding-bottom: 12px; / * to adjust the spacing of the table legend * /.
    }
    table #lister li {}
    margin-bottom: 4px; / * to adjust the spacing between list items * /.
    padding: 0px;
    }

    table #lister td {}
    vertical-align: top;
    }

    I have not test it work with your file css instead, there will be other adjustments, but this will give you a good start.

  • How can I delete a curve of a chart? Thank you

    What you see is a REALLY BORING of the chart behavior. I've seen this before, but I don't know if this has been reported as a bug, but otherwise, I'd call it a. What happens is that once you resize the legend, the table "remembers" the names of the plot. It doesn't matter if you made only feed him two parcels. Here's how to reproduce:

    1. With the code you provided, place a chart on the VI. Do not change the properties of the graph.
    2. Connect the card to the output of the merge signals.
    3. Run the VI.
    4. Open the properties of the legend of the plot, and you should see 10 plots.
    5. Close the graph properties. Don't change anything.
    6. Reconnect the chart at the end of the VI of signals select.
    7. Run the VI.
    8. Open the properties of the legend of the plot, and you should see 2 plots. Expected behavior.
    9. Close the graph properties. Don't change anything.
    10. On the front panel, resize the legend of the plot, so that it shows, for example, field 5.
    11. Open the properties of the legend of the plot. You should see 6 plots.
    12. Close the graph properties. Don't change anything.
    13. Run the VI.
    14. Open the properties of the legend of the plot. You can always see 6 plots.
    15. Close the graph properties. Don't change anything.
    16. Resize the plot legend back to only show that a single parcel.
    17. Open the properties of the legend of the plot. You can always see 6 plots.
    18. Close the graph properties. Don't change anything.
    19. Run the VI.
    20. Open the properties of the legend of the plot. You can always see 6 plots.

    I think that it is an incorrect behavior. You can change the number of parcels shown in the legend by programming if you want to do. Simply changing the size of the legend.

  • How to assign several TOC to correct the text?

    I work in InDesign CC2014 on a Windows 7 PC. I have a document with TOC - one three styles to the content of the chapter, one for a list of figures (LOF) and one for a list of tables (LOT). In each, I have assigned different paragraph styles to use - chapter heading styles, figure caption for the LOF and legend of table for the BATCH. The text for each is an area of unique text not moved on.

    Using the option to update Table of contents in the menu layout, the table of contents chapter works. The LOF is using the BATCH. And the LOT is grayed out and will not be updated the content at all. Each of them occurs with the cursor in the correct discreet text box.

    I can get everyone to work if I use the Table of contents, choose one I want, flow the text into a new text box and replace the existing text by the new box. Next time, I must do the same, because the Update Table of contents will not work in the new text boxes.

    I hope I'm missing just something simple. Any help would be really appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Peter,

    I placed a figure and a table in the document, recreated it in the model from scratch, and everything seems to work. I realized the original had the text placeholder, in the correct style, but if it has not been generated, this could be the reason why it did not work.

    I saved the model as a indt file and will use later today or early this week next to the 17 other documents. This will be the text - if they work in the documents created from the template.

    I will mark this answer as being correct, and if I have questions after I tried to use it, I'll post them in this thread as well.

    Thank you!!

  • Valid select Spry of State does not

    Hi all

    This is my first post.  I searched for an answer but can't find anything that matched my problem.  I have a few spry validation boxes on my page, and all but one will not work correctly.  The one in question is spryselect1 ("spryEquipLoc").  For some reason any (which I can't understand) this field will display the selectRequiredState even after a selection has been made.  Thanks in advance for any help.  Here is the code (sorry, that I couldn't see how to format the code in the post):

  • Form of contact-checkbox PHP coding does not work

    I'm a newbie to the design of web pages, so I would be grateful if you could explain me what PHP coding I would need to "Checkbox" and where to place them in the PHP coding below. I can send the form to my email with all topics and filled in the forms with the Yes or no box.

    Only problem I have is that the part of the info in the box appear right at the top of the message electronic rather than the "Name", "Such", "Email" etc... Another half of the box appear where it suppose to be wih double position as shown below. I also want to remove the < br > e-mail message. You can also tell me how to change the color for the position so clear sound.

    I wrote the code box in BLUE for HTML and PHP coding below. Sorry for the long coding. Look forward to hearing from someone. Very much appreciated.

    This topic has been moved to the Dreamweaver application development forum, which deals with PHP and other issues aside server.

    I don't know where you got your PHP script, but it's bad writing. The reason why you get no results from the boxes because the script does not add to the body of the e-mail message and submits them to the mail() function in the argument which must contain the headers. This also explains why
    is in the email, because the HTML header is in the wrong argument.

    Remove all variables of the addslashes() function assignments. For example:

    $name=addslashes($_POST['name']);

    must be:

    $name = $_POST['name'];

    The code to get the results of the check box should look like this ("isset" insert):

    $rearExt = isset($_POST['rearExt'])?"Rear ground extension: Yes":"Rear ground extension: No";

    Change the following line:

    $msg.="\n$rearExt\n$wsideExt\n$twoStoreyRear\n$twoStoreySide\n$loft\n $newBuild\n$wflat\n$other";

    to do this:

    $msg = "$rearExt
    \r\n$wsideExt
    \r\n$twoStoreyRear
    \r\n $twoStoreySide
    \r\n$loft
    \r\n$newBuild
    \r\n$wflat
    \r\n";

    Headers should look like this:

    $headers = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n
                From: $name <" . $email . ">\r\n
                Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1";

    Each line in the body of the message should be followed by a return character and line transport, not only a new line character. In addition, because you use double quotes, you need not to keep opening and closing them. Variables can be placed in quotes. The first lines should look like this:

    $body = "Name: $name
    \r\n Email: $email
    \r\n Contact No: $contact_number
    \r\n

    The final closing quotes come at the end of the $body statement, which should include the values of your boxes like this:

            Other: $other
    \r\n $msg Message:
    \r\n $message";

    The line that sends your email should look like this:

     mail($toemail, $subject, $body, $headers);

    There are other improvements that could be made to the script, but the ones I listed should solve your problems.

    If you are interested in learning how to properly use PHP, you might like to take a look at my book, PHP Solutions, 2nd edition. Among other things, it shows you how to create a much friendlier e-mail form which verifies the required fields and preserves user input, if errors are found.

  • Newbie: OCD and list of build issues

    Hello

    I received a book of Framemaker to edit, which already has a table of contents and a list of tables in separate files. I finished by editing the file 'content', so now I need to update the table of pre formatted contents and the BATCH. Problem is that every time that I update existing lists or generate new ones, both the numbering and formatting disappeared!

    The list of tables, for example, instead of having something like this:

    Legend of table table 1 < tab > < tab > Page number

    I don't have that:

    Legend < space > Page number from table

    The only way I found to copy the formatting of the paragraph of the original list is by applying paragraph lists tag in it. However, I need a dashed line between the Table caption and the Page number and since without tab is generated, I need to manually enter in a tab just before each unique Page number.

    As for the table of contents, I can not simply duplicate the formatting of the original file, because each level has a different paragraph tag, so you have to go through each Section unique manually heading to define a paragraph tag (and enter a tab) will have for ages!

    Yet, I have not a clue as to how to insert numbering for each chapter/section/Table.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance

    For a TOC file, you must make sure that the paratags for '<$paratext><$pagenum>' topics are "TDM", for example Heading1TDM not Heading1TOC. FM uses the name of the workflow for the creation of the paratags - check your paragraph catalog.

  • Rule Table Bug - legends &amp; Conclusions

    I'd be interested to know if anyone has come across this problem which seems to be a bug in the OPA?

    I have a rule that triggers a question during the interview where the value of the text attribute 'sense the question of procedure type' = 'Community Care' '.

    The value 'Community Care' appears as a conclusion under a caption in the table named 'issue sense of type' on a tab named 'Types of importance '.

    It is derived from condition procedure issue type 'code' which is an entrance to the OPA.

    On the statements tab, I have an attribute, 'community care test shall apply to the proceedings', which has the legend "community care".

    The legend 'community care' is displayed on a tab in the table of rules called 'Procedure '.

    The values for 'community care test shall apply to the proceedings' are derived from condition "the name of procedure" which is an entrance to the OPA.

    At the base of the rule the question test, I expected to appear did not appear. The reason seems to be that the rule table using the conclusions contained in the legend 'community care' in the tab 'Instance' rather than the conclusions contained in the legend 'type sense of importance' in the tab 'Types of matter' (see the extract from the insight into the debugger below).

    The conclusion 'Yes' doesn't seem at all slot the legend 'issue sense of type' but does so under the legand 'community care' and the fact that legend "community care" is not capitalized, while the 'Community Care' value is, makes no difference.

    I solved the problem by checking all the legends against the values for the findings throughout the rule table and change the legends who have the same values as some conclusions.

    Hi thanks for raising it. Yes you're right, using captions that are the same as conclusions in the document of the excel rule causes ambiguous behavior, but we think that that is taken by a 10.3 validation error from. Can you confirm what version are you using? The latest version of the OPA is 10.4.4.

    See you soon

  • Legends of the table, only showing on stripchart

    1. I selected 4 captions on my stripchart, but don't see that "Trace 1." No other legends are visible. How to get visible?

    2. how to change the text of each legend? I tried the following before and after the declaration of PlotStripChart, but do not see the texts of #X, only a simple legend "Track 1" INK.

    SetPlotAttribute (g_hmainPanel, SS_PANEL_STRIPCHART, 0, ATTR_PLOT_LG_TEXT, 'INK #1');
    SetPlotAttribute (g_hmainPanel, SS_PANEL_STRIPCHART, 1, ATTR_PLOT_LG_TEXT, "INK #2');
    SetPlotAttribute (g_hmainPanel, SS_PANEL_STRIPCHART, 2, ATTR_PLOT_LG_TEXT, "#3 INK");
    SetPlotAttribute (g_hmainPanel, SS_PANEL_STRIPCHART, 3, ATTR_PLOT_LG_TEXT, "#4 INK");

    I get all traces of four showing on the stripchart.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    John

    Hi QuerulousJohn

    In order to get the various list items in your legend, you can select the .uir, double-click on your graph of band to change its attributes. Select the Traces, and then if you notice that you can select the number of traces as well as looking at you. For each of the four making it appear on your legend, you need to toggle "Track on the legend" in the lower left corner for every one you want to view.

    To set the text for each item in your legend you can actually use SetTraceAttributeEx (panelHandle, PANEL_CHART, 1, ATTR_TRACE_LG_TEXT, 'text');

    When the Panel, the ID of the control chart parameters /, which trace you reference, the attribute and value.

    If all goes well should get things for you, definitely give if this isn't the solution to your problem.

    Have a great day!

  • Continuous numbering for table and Figure legends

    On the FM band, how configure you graphic captions and table to have a consecutive numbering of the file (chapter) to the file? We do not use a chapnum, just continuous as numbering pages.

    Use a label series dedicated to each function as F: for figure and T: for the tables (it's in AutoNumber Format paragraph Format).

    Make sure that nothing else uses, or resets, except when it is specifically intended, like the names of paragraph Format as "Figure.1.

    If it is a book, the book, and each file, make sure that the Numbering of Document properties for the paragraph
    (*) Continue the numbering of the previous paragraph in the book

    Put no more than one of the same tag paragraph Autonumbering in an framework anchored (counters don't progress not properly).

  • Tables: How can I insert "(continued)" in the legends of the table?

    Hello

    I have a document with a number of tables that break across pages. How can I insert the word '(continued)' in the caption of the table on pages of second and followed by a table?

    Advice appreciated.

    See you soon

    Use the variable table Continuation (special > Variables) to insert it.

  • Custom clickable tables objects and legends

    Hello

    The requirement is a little weird but urgent .

    Well all I need is a complete flexible graph where each element on the x-axis or each element on the y-axis is clickable. Also, since I use a bar graph. I don't want to click on the bar and get more details on the data, which gives an in-depth analysis on how we arrived at such a number.

    Even the chart legend should be clickable in this case.

    For example

    Chart.JPG

    In this case gold, silver and Bronze on the legend should be clickable, which would generate more data.

    In addition, 'USA', 'China', 'Russia' and the bars representing the corresponding values must be clickable.

    Please let me know if I'm not clear.

    Thank you very much

    Piyush

    You can click on the bars and legend with the help of the change in default value & click Properties as below:

    dataProvider = "{YourDataProvider}".
    selectionMode = 'unique' multiple ///or you want
    change = "Alert.Show ("Hi I'm Bar")" "
    >

    . / / instead of the alert, you can call your function

    While click on axis I think probably you need to use AxisRenderers, but still I don't know if converters supports, click or not.

    Check this box

    http://livedocs.Adobe.com/Flex/3/langref/MX/charts/AxisRenderer.html

    It can help.
