Lenovo S430 - disable battery permanently embedded?

Hello!

just got my S430 this week. I like it except for the battery.

I use it at home especially if its plugged into the ac all the time.

I wonder if I could disable the battery so it will not load 24/7. don't really want as it will kill the battery.

or is there any set upward in power management to take charge of the battery?

THX in advance ~

is not possible, unless you physically disconnect the battery. As with the Lenovo Thinkvantage battery charger, you can set the load speed, while the battery is not all the time even if you are connected to the AC (the main advantage of the Lenovo ThinkPad machine).

  • How to disable way permanent libraries CC

I work in the latest version of InDesign CC 2014. Whenever I opened InDesign libraries CC always and I mean always open even if I killed it in all the previous sessions. I can't understand how to turn it off or disable it permanently. I do not use it. I don't need, and it's a boring pop.

Work on a Mac OS running Yosemite 10.10.3

3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - processor

    16 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 - RAM

NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256 MB - graphics card

Can someone help me to permanently disable this thing. It's boring and useless for me.

    Thank you.

For your particular case, if you use InDesign CC 2015, there is a checkbox, add to the CC library, in the new character Style and a new dialogue of the paragraph Style that directly add the style to the selected library and opens the CC libraries Panel. If you don't want the style to add CC libraries at design time, then simply uncheck the checkox at the bottom of the dialog box.

  • Lenovo S430 battery

I just followed the advice given on disabling the built-in battery, but, unfortunately, it does not meet my request.

With my own Z series, I untied the battery and have stored at 30-50% as the operating instructions - every three months, he then reloads 100% and use it until it get back to 30-50%, remove it and store. It works much better for me this way.

But the wife S430 battery! I can turn off the battery by following the instructions in the manual (and, presumably, re - activate again if necessary!) but nobody knows what Beach for free, it should be disabled in the?

Also, I assume that the power to 100% and then use until back down for some expenses, that's what I do eery 3 months?

  • Satellite Pro P200-1MA: how to disable battery beeps less than 10%?

I use my laptop (Satellite Pro P200-1MA) especially indoors, connected to the outlet, but because I am a student I travel on a regular basis and usually I watch movies during this time. About an hour and a half in the recall of battery low film begins making movies for the last 10-15 minutes completely unbearable. That is why it is of absolute importance for me to find a way to disable this callback no value. Thanks in advance.

Have you ever tried to find these settings only?

Please don't be crazy on me, but it's really raise what you're asking here. You need not more than 2 minutes to find a way to reduce the critical battery level.

  • Lenovo Y 40 - battery doesnot - shows 100%, but dies when disconnected

    Hi all

It seems that a lot of people have this problem as I browse this forum.

My Lenovo y40 is less than one year, so still on warranty. Recently (May 19) started having battery problems. It displays 100% charged, when it is plugged. But as soon as I unplug the charger, the battery empties quickly or turns off immediately.

Other times, the battery is to remain in office and will stay on for a few hours. It is very intermittent, it seems that the laptop has trouble reading the current battery level.

I have tried everything recommended on this forum, resettled pilots, reset the gauge from the battery through the Manager energy. What gives? The laptop is too new to have a defective battery and it was working perfectly until a few days ago.

Anyone else having this problem, I really need to use the warranty already? Argh...

  • Lenovo x 240 battery observations and investigations [trendy not supported]

Hi, have a few observations and questions about the 240 x battery. 1 have not really noticed before, but when you plug the charger, the news of support for internal and external battery should read "connected, charge '? 2. I noticed that the mine only has 1 (internal or external) that reads "plugged in, charging" while the other is not (plugged in, do not load)-I first thought once we're in charge, another would activate and fresh, but it's apparently is not. 3 have not really found the problem, i.e. the hardware or software. Sometimes it's the internal battery that costs, sometimes it is the other - I have two defective batteries? Is this a software problem? Here are the things I have tried/tested 1. I uninstalled the device drivers in the same device, rebooted - Manager. 2. install / re-installed the driver of lenovo power manager - nada. 3 tried to recharge the laptop while it is off - voltage and both got fully charged! Someone has the same problem? appreciate the advise / help and thanks in advance.

    Hello

Thanks for the reply and my apologies for the late reply.

Took the time to observe the laptop, but I guess I found my answer.

It seems that the laptop is not simultaneous battery internal and external. Noticed it imposes outside first, then residents. Looks like that's how it really works. Fortunately for me not to send my laptop warranty or buy a spare battery.

Thanks again and happy to be part of the community of Lenovo.

See you soon and good new year!

  • Lenovo y40-70 battery drain

I'm assuming that this thread does not yet receive all responses based on the time that I tried to get assistance from any professional within the community of Lenovo. I'll give it a shot anyway.

Hello, I got my Lenovo y40-70 for a little over a year (so that my warranty is expired - ways don't tell me use my guarantee to solve my problem). After the Windows 10 update, I had the terrible battery life. He would go from 100% to a State of hibernation in time. Previously, I got the battery performance acceptable with maybe about 3-4 hours of use. I tried to update all my drivers and play with the parameters of battery etc. I uninstalled the application of energy Manager and am not prepared to perform a gauge reset due to potential negative effects it could have on the my system. Anyone has an idea on how to solve this problem in addition to roll back to Windows 8.1?

Oh yes, I also tried calling Lenovo support but I was literally on the line for 2 hours while listening to a song. Any help is appreciated. You may end up having a different phone if this problem persists.

  • Lenovo Y40-70 battery problem

I had a battery problem (the known: battery says 100% and suddenly falls to 0% and close) and in September, I sent my computer to Lenovo. It takes about 6-7 weeks so that the battery needs to be replaced. My guarantee also had to be extended, but was not. Now, my battery has exactly the same problem. I don't want my battery to replace again: it takes too long and I can't wait that long again. Can someone help me please to solve this problem?

    Thank you.

  • Lenovo companion installation battery gauge App toolbar Windows 10?

    Hello

I was out and play with a Thinkpad in a retail store and was pleasantly surprised to see that the battery meter toolbar was back!

So, I searched and unearthed to discover this:

    https://support.Lenovo.com/BD/BN/documents/ht100495

In the picture, she says that with the installation of the new application of companion there is an option to install the toolbar.

I am on a Lenovo E431 with 10 Windows and tried to reinstall the application and do not have this option.

If anyone has an idea on how to get this installed battery meter I would be very happy, as I prefer the tiny battery icon in windows.

    Thank you!

This could get really annoying when I read an article when my keyboard and mouse is not in use.
