Only a network printer LaserJet 1320 prints

Hello

I have a shop.  In my office, I have a HP Laserjet 1320 PCL printer attached to my new computer running Windows 7. On my network, I also have a computer in the store that is running on Windows XP. After sorted desktop drivers to make the printer work with PCL 6 (it printed only a copy when the value of PCL5), I cannot now make the computer store impression. Is it important that computers are running a different version of Windows and the computer of the shop would have the Windows 7 driver for the printer as well as the XP driver or just one of them and if so the one who! This file the printer disk/s should be in?

If the printer on the desktop computer port is LPT 1, should the store by using the same or does \\oshop?
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thank you

your best solution is directly connect to a computer and then share the printer from the pc

  • A LaserJet 1320 printer network connection

The HP LaserJet 1320 printer lacks an Ethernet, only the 1320n, NT and nw models have that.  My question on this is can I connect the 1320 to my Ethernet system using Ethernet to USB converter unit? The 1320 has a USB input/output.connector.  If not, is it because the current software does not support the Ethernet connection, and if this is the case the software update?  In this application, I want to be able to use the printer HP 1320 of my laptop HP Pavilion DV7-1267 also connected to the Ethernet system.

It is possible to install the HP LaserJet 1320 to an Ethernet network via a Jet Direct external print server.  Support direct Jet models can be found at the following URL:

  • LaserJet 1320: Print multiple copies

Regardless of the number of copies I specify to print on my Laserjet 1320, it will only print one copy. I use Word 2010, Windows 8.1

I suspect that the following is the case:

    • Your document is a MultiPage document (i.e. not just a single page).
    • You select that copies be printed "collected" (e.g. pages 1,2,3,..., 1, 2, 3,..., 1, 2, 3,...) rather than "not assembled" (i.e. pages 1,1,1,..., 2, 2, 2,..., 3, 3, 3,...).
    • The driver assumes that the printer can produce multiple copies of a source only copy - this is known as ing MOPY(I think it stands for "copy of the original multiple").
    • But the printer does not function MOPY - usually this is only available if the printer has a hard drive or a large RAM disk - I do not think that the LJ1320 supports one of these.

You can confirm that the foregoing occurs by:

    • "Capture" a print job to a file (using the option "print to a file" in the print Word dialogue or sample driver
    • Then examing initially file resulting .prn (you should be able to open it in Notepad).
    • Most of the file can be unintelligible, but initially will look like:

If the command SET QTY is there, this confirms that the driver think the printer will make copies.

If so, check the settings of the device to the printer:

to check whether or not the system thinks that a hard disk is installed on the printer, and Mopier mode is enabled or not.

If the disk hard printer is set to installed, change to not installed.

If the Mopier Mode is set to Enabled, change it to disabled.

Then repeat the tests to see if it makes a difference.

He should do it, although the print jobs sent to the printer will be larger (they will contain several copies).

  • HP laserjet 1320 connected to windows 7 but cannot print on a windows xp computer

We have 4 computers connected to a printer.  2 computers windows 7 and the other 2 are windows xp.  When I try to find the printer and connect to it it is an error code that is displayed saying "the server for the ' pcl 5' hp laserjet 1320 printer does not have the printer driver installed.".  If you want to find the right driver, click ok.  otherwise, click Cancel and contact your network administrator or the OEM for the printer driver correct"I don't know where to even try to find the right driver.  I tried uninstaling and reinstaling the drive of the printer and it still does not work.

all I ended up doing was to move the printer to the computer xp and related windows computers seven until the printer this way, everything works and there is no need to download all the drivers.  I tried to download everything as you said, but I more was skip a step or put in the wrong place.  Thanks anyway for your help

  • HP LaserJet M4345 MFP: Network printer problem: cannot print, but can ping

    Good evening

I have a big problem. We have a network HP LaserJet M4345 MFP printer. It is connected to a switch and the switch is connected to a Modem of Telmex.  It has a static IP address. 5 computers to connect to this printer, but I'm going to use one as a sample.

The problem is that I can't print anything.

    • I can install the printer in all computers
    • I ping the printer
    • I can access the printer configuration using a browser
    • I can even scan a document

But I can still print the test page. We have a static IP and it does not repeat the IP address, the host name is unique and date everything is fine. I tried to ping to test for the default gateway and it a ping with a correct response time.  So:

    • The configuration of the printer can be accesed via browser
    • The computer can ping the printer
    • I can scan a document to the PC
    • The printer installs very quickly in all machines
    • The printer can ping the default gateway
    • The IP address and the host name are unique

What could be the problem? I tried to print in all the machines without success.

    Thank you for your attention.

It is possible that the network adapter has a problem but since it's your only work around would be to buy a direct jet EIO card and put in the EIO slot in the back near where the network cable is plugged.  They are fairly cheap on ebay and you want to buy a 610N, 615N or 620N one of these models will work.  You must assign an ip address that is different from the one assigned to the integrated card.  I think that there is a way to disable the built in network card, but I have to carry out additional research on that.  If you have an old hp printer that you do not use with a network card eio, even if older 600N it will work in this printer.

  • HP Laserjet 1320 orange flashing, fails to print on Windows Vista

original title: orange flashing, fails to print

HP Laserjet 1320 - two episodes of persistent production (almost - some only wingdings) blank paper after normal printing.

I stopped this by output, turn the printer off.

Now orange flashing only, does not print at all.

Have you tried putting off tension, even with the computer and have run tick - found Nile.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi RosyJay,

    (1) you get an error message?

    (2) remember to make changes before this problem?

    Method 1:
run the printer troubleshooter, see the link below

    Solve printer problems
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/troubleshoot-printer-problems

Method 2:  Print a test page, see the steps mentioned in the link below - you can print a test page to check if a printer to print graphics and text correctly. A test page also displays information, such as the printer name, model, and version of the software driver that can help you troubleshoot printer problems.

  • HP LaserJet 1320 Print blank Page extra

LaserJet 1320 shoot two sheets of paper when printing a single page. It does when you print a test page.

Its also happens when I do the desktop remotely.

Depending on the configuration page, the total number of pages does not include blank pages that follow each of the printed pages.

Is there a hardware problem or configuration of printer?

If it was the model that was network when you printed the configuration page that you would also get a Network Setup page.

You must be connected to a network via an Ethernet cable to see the integrated Web server, if it is a model that supported it.

You don't need any CD. Go to the HP Support and drivers website,
and search for your printer. Find the appropriate driver for your version of
Windows, download it, install it and follow the prompts.

  • HP laserjet 1320: PRNTER IS NOT PRINTED AND ITS CRIMINAL IS OFF

    Hello

I have HP laserJet 1320 printer, before its usb connector seems to be mulfunction, I replced the trainer, he began working again, but after a few days failed to print and its criminal turned off, put except when I turn on does not start immediately, will start after the switch several times.

Any help is highly appreciated. Thank you

No idea what you mean by criminal is off. If you have replaced the trainer, remove side trim and with the power off, reinstall all connections to the new trainer and see if it boots. If still an issue I think that the new trainer has a problem. There is an engine test button below the trainer that you can press to see if it prints a page with lines. If it is then that confirms that the trainer has a problem.

  • LaserJet 4 Plus: can I use my DSL modem/router for my LaserJet 4 Plus a network printer home?

My LaserJet 4 Plus was connected to my old XP computer with a parallel port cable (?).  Can I make this printer to my Windows 7 and Windows 10 computers using ethernet cable port to connect it to my ADSL modem/router?  I tried to make the connection, but other computers can't 'see '.  This printer has been used as a network printer in an office environment.  I see an IP address when I print a test page, but I am unable to ping this address of my Windows 10 computer when I have the printer connected to my modem/router.  What should I do to make this visible printer?  Is there a way to check the IP address on the test page is still topical to the printer?  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thank you very much to clear up the mystery as to why the reset cold was not change the IP address and why I was not able to see the MIO menu!  Thank you for the suggestion to replace the card with a card HP from ebay.

  • LaserJet 1320: Hp printer does not not on Windows 10

I just recently upgraded to Windows 10 and the HP LaserJet 1320 printer does not work. I went to the site and downloaded the correct driver (64-bit). The printer appears in the printer list when I go to devices and printers, but can not choose the printer when I go to print something. If I go into settings > devices in Windows, I'll see the printer listed, but I can not set the default printer, and it says "Driver is unavailable."

Is there a better driver, or a way to fix this?

    Thank you.

It is connected through the USB port, and of course, I tried connecting directly first, who did install a driver, but he had the same result as the download of the driver separately. I was finally able to make it work by installing a different driver, which I don't remember, but this has been resolved weeks ago.

  • Unable to print on Laserjet 1320, Windows 7, Google Calendar

Connected my Laserjet 1320 to my new PC with Windows 7. Solved a problem with printing using this forum (print multiple copies). Tried to print a page from Google Calendar by pressing the "print" key - box came the calendar print preview display. Click on the "print" button - nothing happens. I have printed successfully to other pages in the Internet, but it will not be printed. Ongoing work around is to hit the Save button slot, opens Adobe and print the PDF.

I know you weren't asking me to download something terrible - I felt just like installing & uninstalling stuff. However, your suggestion to try other browsers made me think. With getting the new PC with Windows 7, when I installed Firefox, this is the most recent version (not yet on my old PC). And the new version built in reader of PDF - aha! Went into Firefox and found how to go back using Acrobat to view PDFs. Print process works now.

My apologies to HP - it wasn't your fault! That's the problem with changing several things at the same time - when something doesn't work, you don't know what caused it.
