• Yoga s1 - keyboard/trackpad turn off in tablet-mode/tent

  Hello

  I have the version of edu 10 school windows to install on my thinkpad yoga s1 and I following driver problems.

  no rotation of the screen

  not auto brightness

  keyboard / trackpad doesn't turn off when screen undergoes a rotation, more mixture windows does not work because he does not notice that the screen is different.

  are there drivers or fixes to this problem. I installed all lenovo drivers I found on the Web site and the software update, and he said no problems. also, the Device Manager shows no points mark.

  can someone help me, I need this laptop for my studies. I thought I'd make the wise choice to do a fresh install of windows to leave out any confilicts but this is long over.

  Unfortunately it has not worked for me, but I understood what the problem was. It was because I installed the "N" of windows 10 EDU verion and leading to some problems with the sensors and the touch screen. So if I install extension multimedia Windows 10 out of the microsoft page, everything worked from the unpacking so no need for pilots to sensor.

• MPB 13 early 2015: keyboard, trackpad stopped working

  I am currently (not quite happy) owner of a Macbook Pro 13 "retina, early 2015, I bought about a year ago.

  After a few months of use, the keyboard and the trackpad started to behave erratically:

  • Sometimes the trackpad may stop working.
  • At other times, it is the keyboard that wouldn't work.
  • But most of the time, the keyboard and the trackpad would be lacking.

  A few observations:

  • The question would appear only when I start the computer, or when he wake up from its sleep.
  • When the keyboard and the trackpad has decided to work, they have worked perfectly until I put the computer to sleep or shut it down.
  • Trackpad and keyboard work as expected.
  • Initially, the problem would appear only from time to time, but then he began to be more frequent to the point where the keyboard and the trackpad would never work.
  • During the first week little encounter the problem, plug an external USB device, such as a USB drive, managed to move things to the top and the keyboard/trackpad would raise from the dead. Alas, once the problem became permanent, nothing seems to fix.

  What I have tried or verified:

  • I did tried to reset the SMC, NVRAM nothing helps.
  • Boot in single-user mode or failsafe don't change anything.
  • I did check for misbehaving kernel extensions and found nothing. All extensions of kernel in use are Apple.
  • The problem is not related to the installation of third-party software - the set of installed applications is quite small and rarely changes.
  • Hardware diagnosis do not have any problem report.

  The problem became really annoying that I had to tote around an external keyboard and the trackpad - sentence a satisfactory 'solution '.

  I ended up going in an Apple store, where I was recommended to send my machine for repair in a 'Premium' authorized Apple service center. This service center could not find the question

  This service center could not find the problem, and they ended up replacing all of the top folder (including the keyboard and the trackpad). It was less than three months ago.

  Initially, it worked flawlessly... until a few weeks ago, when he started to raise its ugly head again. Just from time to time at first, but now, I'm at square one, with a keyboard and trackpad completely non functional.

  A few interesting notes:

  • Again, I have reset the SMC (using the internal keyboard) without success. I want the SHIFT, control option keys and press the power button. Light on the magsafe plug changes color for some time, which indicates that the MSC has been reset indeed. In other words, the system correctly detected that user have pressed the shift, command, and option keys.
  • I then tried to reset the NVRAM. But not the operation fails. Once the computer is on, it seems that the keys are not yet detected. Same thing if I try to boot in single user mode or failsafe. I can only do it by using an external keyboard now. Starting in integrated security mode shows me some cute photos asking me to activate my bluetooth keyboard and trackpad.

  Let's take a look at system.log.

  When the macbook, boots or wakes up from his sleep and find the interface for device series, we are greeted with a message similar to:

• Flex 2-15 keyboard/Trackpad stopped working

  Basically the keyboard/trackpad are no longer works for my lapop (Flex 2-15).

  Here is the race to the bottom of what I know:

  (1) function keys still work like the brightness upward or down before turning off the screen.

  (2) in the Device Manager it is the yellow traigle with an exclamation for the trackpad, but the keyboard driver seems to work properly.

  (3) on the mouse driver, it says Code 10, has expired.

  (4) I tried to uninstall the mouse driver and restart to see if windows would be to install automatically and the pilot comes back, but with the same code 10.

  (5) touch screen works very well.

  (6) running Windows 8.1.

  (7) I tried restore factory settings and the problem is still there.

  (8) keyboard and USB mouse work perfectly well.

  (9) switching modes I tried to see if keyboard/trackpad has been disabled, but no luck there either.

  Really appreciate some help here because it of beyond frustration since I didn't have this laptop for a little over a month and can no longer return. Also, Lenovo does not support anything else than the material and wants $70-140 to solve this problem.

  I bought a Satellite S50-B-15N a few months ago, who came with Windows 8.1 and decided to do the upgrade of Windows 10 about two months ago. Initially, the laptop worked well but in recent weeks, he had various issues with the keyboard, trackpad, and function keys.

• SPI keyboard/Trackpad on MacBookPro12, 1 does not work after 10.11.3

  I'm having a problem where my keyboard and mouse are not reset after the awakening from the sleep after the update to 10.11.3. I'm on MBP12, 1. I can plug in usb or bluetooth devices that work but the keyboard and trackpad work until after I have shut down and restarted.

  I see the following error in the logs:

  You ask about the physical keyboard of the 700 Yoga help? In other words, you want to connect an external monitor, fold the 700 Yoga in tablet mode, place it on a desk with the keyboard facing up, and then use the keyboard/trackpad in combination with the display on the external monitor...?

• Remove the old keyboard/trackpad reference of the new iMac

  I recently got an iMac and had to return because of a problem. Before doing so I took a time machine backup, and when I received my replacement iMac I restored from this backup. Under bluetooth in system preferences, there are still references to the 2 of Magic Trackpad and Keyboard 2 Magic that has been associated with the faulty iMac. I tried clicking on the "x" that appears as I mouse over the devices, but it does not work. It says "Unable to connect to device" and a "Pair" button appears. Of course, I can't pair it with these devices because they are no longer in my possession.

  I ended up editing the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file in ~ Library/preferences. In this file the devices are listed by MAC address in HIDDevices. I found the MAC addresses correct by right clicking the devices I wanted to delete under system-> Bluetooth preferences. Remove these items in the file .plist and logout and back in solved my problem. If anyone else has this problem: it's a good idea to make a copy of the .plist file before editing.

  The my Satellite 1800 Series drive is fixed mounted, yours is too (I think). The only way to change the disk is to go to the next dealer Toshiba one ask him if there is a reader, that it might recommend.

  Looks like I found the solution! I recently came across another post on this forum, where user reported his g5050 showing similar symptoms as mine. A lenovo admin had suggested that it might be due to overage charges stored on the laptop, causing the whole f on the keyboard and the touchpad to act as its loosely connected.

  Solution:

  As soon as I find my cell phone charged, immediately I removed the seizure of power enter the laptop!

  And now, its all working fine!
