Lenovo y410p gt750m issues

Hello, I have a Lenovo laptop y410p (4th generation Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD, NVidia GT750M 2 GB), already bought this computer used, knowing the default, only what was said to the person who bought it is that he was in the BGA GPU.

Description of what happens: when the video card is on the cooler goes to 100% using and shut down the laptop, if is not pushing too hard, he gets some time (about 2 minutes).

I wanted to know from you, it's the behavior of this laptop is compatible with the GPU BGA, the video below shows what happens when I leave the system itself to choose which video card to use (it also comes with an Intel 4600), yet I haven't decided what I'll do with the laptop , while I was not looking for any specialized company, I want to exhaust all possibilities before that... If anyone knows or has any idea what's going to go, I'll be very grateful.

Sorry for the bad English.

I understand what is the BGA GPU.

So, you mean you bought the laptop knowing to the discrete GPU reballing?

(If that's the case then of course the laptop will not work properly)

I'm sorry that if this case is valid, then your laptop can be repaired by a hotfix, there are reballing.

Even if it has been re-ball, it is perhaps not quite good.

The NOVO button, a small button with a symbol of refreshment (semicircle arrow) there.

Here is your manual guide and use that you can look for more details-

  • Problems of 755M GT from Nvidia Lenovo Y410p Please help.

I just got the laptop 3 days ago and whenever I try to run a game on the laptop that uses the 755 m it will cause often the driver to plant especially when the power supply is on and when it is not plugged into the game will work, but at a very low framerate.

The games I tried are CS: go, Team Fortress 2 and World of Warcraft.

All of these game will work very well when the power is not connected but when I plug the power I'll get glitched graphics and drivers crashing shortly after sometimes it's just bluescreens me, I desperately need help.

    NVIDIA driver version 331.82

    Image of graphical glitch

Also whenever I connect or disconnect the AC adapter the screen go black for a second or two and then return

I got Lenovo to replace the Y410p and realized that the problem was the nvidia driver. I updated the driver on the new and saw that the card was insensitive and quickly he downgraded to the default driver. Update the driver for the last is a problem with the card which can damage permenantly map which was what happened to the previous laptop

Keep the Nvidia driver for the entire plant: v327.62 until I know newer drivers are safe to use.

  • Lenovo Y410P only loads "Lenovo" logo, will not start!

Hi, my slightly more mobile years computer does not load. I've recently upgraded from Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 and since I did it I got errors "blue screens of death". There were a couple, but most of the time that it was a mistake to "watchdog" should happen instead of the usual Windows startup after being off for a while it would just come up with a message saying he was recovering from a mistake and then eventually he would load windows and everything would be fine.

But no more. I just back from being gone for the weekend and the computer is no longer supported anything else than start of Lenovo logo.

Any ideas on what could be the cause? My hard drive or ram is fried? Something I can do?

(I tried pressing F2, Fn and all other key combinations I can think.) I search online to find answers and have not yet finding someone with the same problem. Other people seem to be at least able to get into the BIOS, but I can't do that, either.)

    Thanks in advance!

I have experienced this odd circumstance myself. In may cases, the computer just randomly got stuck on the start screen for Lenovo without prior indication as to why this would happen.

Whenever that happens, however, the solution is extremely simple. I simply unplug everything from the ports on my computer. USB ports, which is (and the SD card). Boots right up when switched on with empty ports and then you can plug everything back in. I guess the computer is confused what to start from? No idea, but do let us know if it works.

  • Lenovo T410s LCD issue

I have a problem with my LCD on Lenovo T410s. Everyting worked good so far. Today, I wanted to check another LCD for this model that I've got. So I dicsonected the LCD original and connected to another to check. After having seen that the other has worked well, I disconnected it. Then I reconnected the original and the laptop. Unfortunately, when he started, the screen has no shining good – it is very dark. I disconnected that and back I tried the second LCD, but here again the other shined very bad. Can someone tell me what could happen? It seems that the inverter is damaged, but I don't know where is that within this model. Please give me some advice

My guess is that you skipped a fuse on the motherboard.

There is no converter as such since it's led lighting panels.

    Good luck.

  • Lenovo E430 Touchpad issue

    Hi all

I own a Lenovo E430. Now it is running Windows7, fully corrected and updated to date.

My problem is with ultra high sensitivity touching the TouchPad. The TouchPad can react even to touch the fabric.

This is a problem for me, because I use TrackPoint, I have no external keyboard and during the use of extra clicks unwanted lead to unforeseen events.

So my question is how can I disable the Touchpoint. I have read several articles and there is no solution for me.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi, Tsoch

If you go to the Control Panel and select mouse, a window should appear. In this window, one of the tabs at the top should say UltraNav, if you click on this tab, you should be able to uncheck the Activate touchpad, which allows to disable the TouchPad. Click apply and then click OK. The TouchPad should now be disabled.

    Best,

I'm sorry, I bought a Levono this time. I bought Lenovo Y410P recently thinking I could buy one Ultrabay Nvidia video Graphics Card GT750M online somewhere NOPE! Could not find one anywhere except a couple in China and I'm not about to buy one of there... takes too long for shipping and returns if necessary. Lenovo has been very missleading as Lenovo hype than GPU Ultrabay when then markeded this laptop. in any case, I'll be this one on eBay for sale and will next time around with a Samsung or Dell.

  • Y410p SSD install?

I recently bought a Y410p and an mSATA SSD, I hoped to install in it. I had assumed that there will be a pair of mSATA slots available, although he had no way of knowing since Lenovo does not document this information for consumers.

From the opening the laptop up, I saw an article in a corner which appeared to the right size for one SSD chip to keep his friends, but I didn't recognize what was the port, it was absolutely not mSATA however. Not sure if the HannStar label in this area is relevant for the connector. Attached are images.

As it is, I have two questions.

    (1) the Lenovo Y410p there a housing unit of secondary storage, and if so, where it is located and what kind of connector should I use?

    (2) what is the connector pictured above?

I appreciate any help with this.

Unfortunately, the mSATA drive does not fit into the computer. We have no choice but to wait for the next generation ssd is coming
Outside. The good side to this subject, it is that we will get the readers who read up to 1, 800mbps vs 555 now the fastest disk.

  • NVIDIA Geforce GT M 750 suddenly stopped working in Y410p

    Hello

    I have a lenovo Y410p.
I left this summer and everything worked fine, but when I came back from my Nvidia Geforce 750 M graphics card no longer works.
I don't know what can happen, he was working before I left.
The device displays error Manager code 43, and I have no access to the Nvidia Control Panel.
I tried upgrading the BIOS. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver many times. I tried the latest driver from Nvidia and lenovo. I clean installed several times, using DDU uninstall.
I've updated all the drivers except the Nvidia one.
Nothing works. It becomes really frustrating.
I noticed that the version of BIOS is 3.08, and SMBIOS version is 2.7. Is this normal?
    Information system is attached.
    What should I do?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi gabbay18,

During the updating of the Nvidia card, you will need to re - install the Intel driver first, then make the Nvidia.

See my response in this thread:

  • y510p hdmi games at 120 Hz

    Hi guys

I recently bought a Lenovo y510p GT750m sli, that's pretty impressive for the games, but now I think to buy an external monitor, and here I need a bit of advice.

the monitor I need if work of handel via my Macbook and games via my y510p, for the work I am looking for a monitor 27 "1440 p to 1080 p games would do well.

    Basically, I have 3 questions:
-How can I be sure that my y510p have HDMI 1. 4 b (b is important here)?
-I'll be able to get a good gaming performance on an external monitor via HDMI 1. 4B (my concern here is, I'm going to invest in a screen and find myself less than 30 frames per second or aving to lower the quality of game dramatacilly)?
    -l'y510p will be able to run 1080 p 120 Hz on a 1440 p monitor?

I have my eye on a few of the monitor, if anyone has any experience with them, I'd love to hear about them (especially on game performance)

    -DELL U2713HM
    -Samsung S27A850D
    -ASUS PB278Q
    -BenQ BL2710PT

(ps: I'm not sure above would be able to make 120 Hz 1080 p)

Hey guys, thanks for the response guys.

I decided on an ASUS PB278Q, this is a great monitor, works like a charm on my macBook which is my daily workstation.

On my Lenovo p510 im to Office impeccable 2560x1440px via HDMI 1.4, I disabled the internal monitor to the laptop, no need so I will save the gpu rather ' etc.

There are some pixel/artifact problems, do not know what to call it, for the DS, in the window of the browser chrome for Battlefield 4 I get a few strange flickering pixels in bright colours red/green, but only in the middel of the browser when the page uses opacity layers, I have not seen this in any games or other applications so I count them for nothing.

To the bottom of the scale of the problems: the screen seems to manage to the bottom of the scale is pretty bad, I have e.g. set the monitor 1920 x 1080, text etc. is slightly blurry, it also takes effect in games, I don't know if it is a question of monitor og gfx card, I can only reconmmend by running the Office at 2560x1440px

    Games:
Virtually all games run smoothly with the external monitor in the middle to high heat, I run most of the games in 1080 p mode.

Battlefield 4 - BF4 is quite demanding, I tried running at 1440 p high, but it lags a lot, so currently im running the game in 1080 p 59.9 hz settings means to 57 to 60 fps, even on 64player cards in the center of the heat , light sweet, I get about 120 frames per second , but I recon I see only 60 of them since the screen is set at 60 hz.

Diablo 3 - 1080 p works great in 1440 p high, at the top is possible but a few times so that walk a few stuttering occurs, interest in 1440 p image is rich in saturation, but 1080 p, it seems more gray'ish light, like a high gamma version. (update: run the game in 1680 x 1050 to get the same rich saturation like 1440 p )

Guild wars 2 -to 1440 p settings means v-sync (choose autodetect to preset settings) I get about 60 images per second, which is very nice

    Overall:
even if you game on the native of the lenovo display is large enough, nothing beats having a widescreen from 27 "to eye level, in most of the cases the y510p's to the task, but for FPS games properly, you will need to play 1080 p to og medium low to get a good pace, even though It is absolutely worth playing on a screen of 27 ", my games have improved a LOT.

If you plan ARICI to use the monitor for the y510p, I'd go with a cheaper screen, maybe a 1080 p version because of the problems of scaling of the pb278q from asus, but since im using it for my mac book as well, it works fine .

So there you have it, game on the y510p on an external monitor to 2560x1440px with FPS desente and quality gfx is possible .
