    How to open .pmd document created in Pagemaker in InDesignCC?

    You do not have. Support for Pagemaker was abandoned after CS6, but as a Subscriber, you can still download CS6 and allows to convert the .indd .pmd.

    PageMaker conversions may be something almost perfect to completely unnecessary, according to the original document. For a short doc I would probably just rebuild from scratch.

  • How can I remove a page from a PDF document created through a scanner?

    My Scanner has created several blank pages in the PDF document.  It seems there is no editing tool to delete a page.

    The free Adobe Acrobat Reader software doesn't have this capability. You can either play with the settings of your scanner software and re-scan, or you can delete pages with the full version of Adobe Acrobat.

  • Is documents created locally - a reliable way of reporting on this?

    We need to run a report and return the order records that have been created locally only (not online).
    I was wondering if there is a reliable way to check if the documents have been created on the remote client against the client online?
    for example there are some field which is defined only locally, or in-line function that works differently locally?

    The only thing we have had so far has been, for a limited number of orders, the order number for local purchase orders (based on: Expr: 'RowIdToRowIdNum ([Id])') appears to create formatted differently locally online number order (but that is by design?) and it will be reliable?

    Or is there another method to see were the orders have been created?

    You can read more about ROW_ID on Supportweb: what is the RowID/ROW_ID, and how is it generated and used? [476256.1 ID]

    It seems that the company prefix is different for local databases, and it seems that it's by design.

    "The company prefix will always be unique to any database (main or local). The server retains its original value, and mobile databases created against this particular server database always receive a new and unique value. »

  • How to save a document created in a path preset on hard drive?

    I do loadtesting for Indesign server.

    I have a created a Document with a custom installation (10 pages etc.). For this, I opened a page layout and I the DocRef to my just created document.

    Now I want to save the document to a predefined path (which I can hard code in my code) on my system (lets say in the folder my documents).

    Can what command I use to do this?

    After a few tries, I was able to save the file under the code snippet using:

    Save the doc

    WideString filePath("D:\\TestFiles\\sampleFile1.indd");

    IdFichier dataSourceFile = FileUtils::PMStringToSysFile (filePath);

    IdFichier * dataSourceFile1 = & dataSourceFile;

    InterfacePtr docFileHandler (Utils()-> QueryDocFileHandler (result));

    If (! docFileHandler) {}

    If (docFileHandler-> CanSave (DocRef))

    docFileHandler-> SaveAs (docRef, dataSourceFile1);

    Error code = ErrorUtils::PMGetGlobalErrorCode();

    ASSERT_MSG (a == kSuccess, "IDocFileHandler::Save failed");

    If (a! = kSuccess) {}

    break;

  • Unable to see the video content on the keyframe in concert at mode for AS3 Documents created in CS5

    Using CS5 I encounter a weird bug trying to 'author' as3 documents in cs5.

    For some strange reason, I am unable to 'visually' see anything either shot or dragged from the library to the stage in design mode. However I was able to observe that the timeline seems to indicate that something does not exist on a keyframe. I also see when I test the movie. Note that this happens for only AS3 files version / documents (not the .AS files)

    I however visually see whats on stage if I create a file as2 or convert as2 documents said a3 documents

    the above output is automatically generated whenever I run a test of movies and as3 document regardless of its content

  • Acrobat teacher blocked document created in LC

    Hello

    I created a document in LC (V.  8.2.1.4) and I wanted to add a save-as function. I opened with Acrobat Professional (V. 9.2.), went to the Advanced menu and 'enable function selected in Acrobat Reader'.) Works perfectly. But if I open my document with the drive then it is ruined. I inserted a table, in which Acrobat automatically inserts a couple of new lines. Thus the content under the table is "pushed" out of the area of document and not visible anymore. Why does this happen?

    Can someone help with this problem?

    Best regards.

    Ok

    the problem is caused by a wrong setting in the range of liaison for the first line "Zeile1 [0].

    It is set to be repeatable, while the rest of the table is not.

    You must remove the check mark.
