  Start the OS X App Store, then click on the item toolbar updates. V5.6.1 pages should be available, and this will open documents Pages ' 09, ' 08 and ' 06. In messages to this community, you should always share what version specific pages and OS X that you are currently using.

  4. What is the serial number and model of the printer?

  5. do you have the entire Word document in zip folder?

  6. What does the document contains example: text, images?

  It could be a problem with the zip file; I suggest to create a new zip file and check.

  I'm starting this post with some documents. I am running the latest version of El Capitan and the most recent version of the Pages. I ran disk utility, and there are no errors on the disc. The message gives me not a lot of things to do. Does anyone have an idea how to recover files that this is the case? I have a backup of the disk, but what happens to random files and I did not backup available unless I'm at home.

  There are a few problems with v5.6 Pages not wanting to open documents created or Word .docx documents. The update of the Pages v5.6.1 was said by Apple to fix this, but in reality, I still have problems newly created / edition v5.6.1 Pages documents or documents .docx Word that opens, and then give the impossible to open a dialogue of reason and then later, opens as if no problem there.

  I see no difficulty users to do this, replacing Pages v5.6.1 with a third-party processor that works really constantly.

  Import from word using tables and lists documents creates html with a lot of waste of formatting (in my opinion)

  The html code is cluttered garbage really poor marking.

  You used the right option, I gave you the wrong procedure, apologies.

  Paste your table in and then select the HR. On the Format menu, there is a clear formatting option. Click on that and you'll have a clean table to which you can then apply a CSS table if necessary.

• iCloud accessed via my Mac doesn't show the documents created and updated the pages on my iPad, even if the settings are correct all around.

  When I open the iCloud drive from my Mac (running Yosemite) documents created and more recently in the Pages on my iPad mini2 is no longer appear. I have re-checked the iCloud settings on the devices and the two seem to properly put in place.  There is no network problem.

  Try the settings/iCloud and remove the synchronization. Wait a few minutes and then resynchronize.

  Try to go into System Preferences/iCloud and stop synchronization. Wait a few minutes, then recheck the timing.

  Have you tried the signature to iCloud and then reconnect?

  If you get a dialog box that says essentially that "Pages cannot open this document for some reason any", you're actually done with this document because he suffered internal damage. Get an old copy of your Time Machine backup.

  You do not have. Support for Pagemaker was abandoned after CS6, but as a Subscriber, you can still download CS6 and allows to convert the .indd .pmd.

  PageMaker conversions may be something almost perfect to completely unnecessary, according to the original document. For a short doc I would probably just rebuild from scratch.

It does not open a document own stand alone. This cause me a problem when I want to send it as an attachment, as it includes this component, as well as all other toolbars with.

  When you send the PDF document as an attachment, it will be sent as a document 'stand alone '. It will be open according to the preferences that are set by the receiving party.
