Level of impedance headphones

Hello

I would like to know if my laptop 15R SE 7520 can drive headphones with an impedance of 50 ohms? If this isn't the case, then what is the level of maximum impedance to choose the helmet on computers dell laptops?

Thank you.

Well, the audio codec on the Inspiron 7520 seems to be a Conexant CX20672. I found its product sheet which gives the headphone output to 31 mW per channel at 32 ohms. The output voltage is 1 Vrms. The codec has a built-in headset limiter.

You can get the brief product of http://www.conexant.com/supportdocs/techdocs/Pages/default.aspx.

    Hey everybody,

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give me.

I use first Pro CC 8.1 and I can't use the volume on my system to adjust the level of the headphone output. If I adjust the volume on the keyboard or system preference I get full volume out of Premiere Pro. Even if it is defined on the system to volume 0, I get the full output through the headphones. Interestingly enough my USB speakers are controllable all simply not the headphones.

    Any suggestions?

Do you use a headset or speaker-out jack for headphones, rather that the speakers are connected to the USB port? I don't know if you are a Mac/Pc, but in Windows, each output "type"... USB, taken from the front rear, front taken etc. is a different control section in the system software. In a Pc, will gets Panel-> sounds (or right click on the speaker in the "sandbox" on the menu bar, and then clicking on 'Reading devices' or 'Sounds') you a box with all outputs listed... and you can work from there.

Or... could be even faster... right click on the speaker icon down right in the start bar again, and then click "Volume Control Options"... click on helmet so he had a check mark. Now... to redefine your headphones, on the "speaker" icon... "Open volume Mixer"... and your headset should appear there is something you can control.

I guess that Mac would have something similar...

  • two profiles/levels of audio volume for headphones vs built-in speakers like Macbookpro

    Hi all

As in my macbook pro, can I make the computer don't forget the volume for headphones and speakers integrated levels?

Headphones: 10 volume, volume integrated speakers 25 etc. If I remove the headphones, the volume is expected to increase to 25 and when I put headphones, it should decrease by 10 new... ! is not necessarily 10 and 25, it's just to get an idea... !

Nevermind, it works like that already, cannot remove this question well.. !

  • Impedance of the headphones for N5050

Can I get information about the corresponding impedance of the N5050 helmet for use with particular impedance headphones?

And in general, where can I get full techspecs of equipment N5050?

    Thank you.

Hello. This question comes up from time to time, but I'm not sure that there is an exact answer to him. IDT measure the electric characteristics of its headphones by putting a load on the pins and then measure. The load used is 32 ohms so I guess that's what they consider the typical headphone impedance that will be used with a laptop.

If you google IDT 92HD87B1 card technical - this is a pdf file - see section 3 (characteristics > electrical specifications). You may be able to find an answer that I missed.

And in general, where can I get full techspecs of equipment N5050?

Go to the page documents Inspiron N5050 for what is available, but Dell doesn't provide detailed technical specifications.

  • Venue Pro 11 (7140) 64 bit Win 8.1 - Audio volume

Playing music from YouTube with the browser Tablet volume controls and the Max value, through the Tablet 1W speakers is clear, but the volume level is not optimal. The same is true when listening with head-phones is plugged. Memory, a few webcasts (product launch of MS for example recent) may have low volume levels available, and so with the tablet at maximum volume, these emissions could be difficult to follow.

When I connect the Tablet taken head-phone to an external sound system, the latter also the Max value, the noise level is not much better.

Is the maximum volume of the room 11 Pro 7140 (internal speakers and head phone port) is limited by design?

However, when I connect the tablet to a TV via an HDMI cable, the audio level of the TV is sufficient such that I can have the TV set at the level volume normal, or even turn it upward due to a level very hard! This suggests that the noise level in the HDMI cable is superior to the helmet of the tablet.

I also have the Dell docking station, and at the level of the headphone port is is not better than the tablet itself.

If there is no solution through a setting within the Tablet, it is perhaps possible to buy a USB2/3 device for the tablet that will give me an output signal line to the external sound system, to a level higher than that available from the helmet of the tablet.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Brian,.

    Thanks for your reply.

Solve the problem itself, and I now get a sufficient signal to drive the external audio system, the head-phone jack or the 7140, or the docking station, such that I don't need to adjust the maximum volume.

I don't know how it is resolved itself (maybe finger hurt), but I noticed as I now get a Dell Audio / Maxx Audio 3 pop up when the connection head-phones or the external audio system, asking "what plug in camera?

If the volume of the internal speaker (max value) is too low or not is debatable, but more a high-volume internal speakers probably would not be desirable in business scenarios for which the 7140 has been designed.

Thank you, James (Chichester, United Kingdom)

We are quite limited in what we can achieve for a maximum volume and a tone due to the limited size of the device.   I'm glad that the issue is resolved on its own.

  • How to connect headphones to Toshiba 40L2400Ve TV

I bought TV Toshiba 40L2400Ve, which has no Audio out. It has an Audio/video connector, USB, HDMI, and ANT.
I can plug in my headphones to the Audio OUT of the digital satellite receiver, but that the TV is on mute. The receiver has a SCART (TV), a composite connector (video) and RF INSIDE and OUTSIDE. Also a camera digital Dolby S/PDIF output.
Counsel for the best solution to get Audio for headphones and TV? Thank you!

Although this model is not made for the market of the EU here is an Council: a headphones Jack is distinguished by an output jack Audio impedance point of view. Bad impedance means, audio signal you hear on your headphones may be too loud or too quiet. That's why outputs headphone exist, since they are intended for the coils of helmet of the reader with the necessary signal level. Audio outputs usual via SCART or Cinch operate at a level of 0, 7V - 1V and cannot be able to drive the headphones with the required current coil (depends on the type of helmet, the impedance, the more he will play, but also requires a source that can drive the most common).
You can try with a simple cable Y-(stereo), driving both, the TV and the headphones, but suppose, this solution is not perfect. Finally, you will need some kind of an amplifier/receiver (helmet), which provides a separate headphone to this effect.

  • iPhone 6 variations of volume when using headphones

I set the volume on my phone less than half for the ringtone, but when I use a headset (bluetooth or wired) I increase the volume to listen to my music, and when I disconnect the headphones, the volume remains at the top level.

I thought that the iPhone would detect this change and restore the volume accordingly, in the same way that I can adjust the volume for each device speaker/headphone on my iMac.

Is it me being a bit max, or I missed something?

    Thank you.

    On your iPhone, go to:

    Settings > sounds

In the Middle, there is a section "RINGER AND ALERTS.  You can adjust the ring volume and disable the option "change with the buttons".  This should keep your ringtones at the level of the whole but allow you to adjust the level of the music with the buttons on the side.

  • Conversion of a microphone to a level signal level signal line.

    Friday, June 24, 2016

Re: My computer: Mac mini (mid-2010)

    The model number is A1347

Very well. I wonder if the community of Apple Support can help me with this problem.

I bought a version a SADES 810 Gaming Headset which is supposed to be compatible with Mac in 2016. I tried to plug the headphones on my Mac mini in the hope that I would be able to have conversations using a magic Jack. While I hear people talking to me perfectly clear with the magic Jack, they did not intend to talk into the microphone of the headset.

I tested the helmet with a chip "phone and the microphone and the headphones worked well." Thus, the microphone is not defective. I discovered that my Mac mini to model requires a microphone level line. The microphone on the "2016 new Version for PS4 SADES SA - 810 Gaming PC Headset Headset" is not level line, it seems, but the lower level of the microphone. Thus, the microphone of the headset is not turn off force, that he needs to work in making the Mac mini line level microphone.

On a site I saw this quote:

"Mic Level is the amount of signal you get a microphone. It is much lower than the level of the line and therefore need to be stimulated by a preamp to be usable in a recording situation. »

What I need is the gadget that will allow me to connect the microphone level 3.5 mm headphones microphone, on my Mac mini, which will convert then the microphone level low in a line level signal, when plugged (at the level of the line) microphone jack/plug of the Mac mini. Is there such a gadget?

T he one or two 3.5 mm Sockets?

The headphone jack on the Mac should include a contact for a microphone. To check see it:

  • X 360 spectrum: spectrum HP x 360 with Ubuntu: plug headphones is not turn off speaker

    Hiya,

I just installed Ubuntu (Willy Werewolf) on my HP spectrum - most of the stuff worked right away, and I'm super happy with it. My biggest problem I've been struggling with is the sound: speakers are working perfectly, however when I plug in my headphones, sound is read through both speakers and headphones.

I checked the levels in the mixer and the system is noticed when the headphones are plugged and turns down the speakers correctly (as in alsamixer) channel - it's just that seems to have no effect on the physical hardware. If I change the helmet, that the effects of the volume in the speakers and headphones.

What is interesting, is that, when the headphones are connected, the speakers disappear in fact from the control panel and console announcements mark as "unavailiable. As the system seems to be doing things right from the software point of view, I guess that's maybe a driver issue?

If anyone has seen anything like this before, any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Also the small LED F6 lights when I cut more, but I can't live without that I don't really like (but if anyone knows an easy way to disable this market / stop via the comand line, I get a script to do).

Thanks for your help Hüffer, I finally found the issue myself.  This has proved to be a problem with the map pins (two or three pins speaker have been put to use the headphone output rather than the speaker output).

If anyone has this problem, I used tool HDA-Analysier of ALSA to debug it and make the required changes pinmap. I fixed the problem by changing the following:

    0 x 17 to Audio output 0 x 11
    0x1D to Audio output 0 x 11

  • Portege R100 - defective headphone jack

Headphone 3.5 mm on my R100 hole seems to be defective (I tried it with another helmet and with them the sound is distorted unless I managed to get the plug in the right position).

I will provide Toshiba on this subject shortly, but I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if this component replacement is a simple procedure?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Dan,.

The headphone jack is a pretty basic device that can usually be bought quite cheaply from most electrical spare outlets. The real problem is to find a repairman that will repair to the component level. Nowadays, the trend is to replace a whole PCB rather than simply weld on a new component.

According your description of the problem as it sounds as if we spring metal tags is either loose or bent and therefore does not sufficiently wityh contact the helmet when it is inserted.

If your laptop is still under warranty, then it should be replaced at no charge.

If your warranty has expired, it may be useful to check for repairers of local PC that quote ' component-level) repair services.

    Good luck

Does anyone know if this problem has been resolved yet

When taking is home to cut the speakers, that the level sound so hard to hear even if low down by using an external amplifier to power the headphones

  • Satellite U920T - sound with headphones quiet and distorted

    Hello

I have the following problem with my U920T. The sound with built-in speakers is perfect, but if I use headphones, the sound is very quiet almost unhearable.
I tested several helmets und different settings of the software. I also tried to install all Windowsupdates and driver updates the BIOS including Toshiba homepage n realtek drivers.
Now, I have reinstalled Windows but the problem persists.
I still think is a driver issue, but have no idea what to do now.

    I hope for quick help

That s really strange, but I think that there is problem with some incorrect settings.
I don't know how do you test your helmet but make some tests with browser player.
Open Internet Explorer, open the test page. Start, for example, my favorite In the Mix radio click with the left button of the mouse on the "speaker" icon and open the option when running music mixer.
Your IE it will appear there. You can move the volume level for speakers but for IE too.
Two of them on the 50% and check if the problem persists.

I use headphones often enough but I've never noticed this problem.
    Please test and send feedback.
