• Some Notes on iCloud library on a Mac

  iCloud photo library is a great way to keep the libraries in sync across several Macs. Most of the changes made on a Mac will update on all Macs that also use iCloud photo library (we'll ignore for now iOS devices).

  Try to avoid these situations, if possible.  Photos's repeated outages can cause a repair of the library, but also issues permission, when you use the library of Photos from different user accounts.

• Photos crashes at the start of the App

  I am sure that the problem is specific to this library, as two other libraries of Photos I charge upward without crashing or any other question

  I had enough time to play with some preferences before accidents, such as the photo stream and iCloud sharing power. Unfortunately, none of this makes a difference. Ive tried to fix the library, start in Safe Mode, reset the PRAM and NVRAM, erase all caches related Photos user/library/containers to issue records, even to reinstall OS X in the hope that it was an app - none of this has made a difference.

  Before it is suggested, I am fully aware that you can open the library package, enter full of photo files folders and drag them all to a new library empty. If it's preventable, I really want to do. My current library contains more 50 000 photos, many have been published. Moving to through would be thorough and above all, I would lose the links between original/editing photos, much metadata, etc. - which are too important to sacrifice, if there is actually a way to fix the library

  I've seen other users showing similar problems with their own libraries, but none of them apply to mine. Many of their problems have been resolved with updates, which did not help to solve my problem. I hope someone knowing a lot more technical that me can help to understand this

  It could be related to faces and thumbnails.  This gives a test:

  1 - Make sure you have a current backup of the library.

  2 - Open the library package

  

  3 identify and move all the contents of the folder thumbnails to the trash in the Dock.

  4 - Open the problem with pictures library and check for any what improvement.

  Hey Leonie,

  I tried the rotation back, and while he was working for as much as the thumbnails go, all the position of face recognition were all moved and non-aligned next to the face. So I decided to try something else.

  A backup copy of the library and then selected in first Show Package Contents after right-clicking on the library. Then, I deleted everything under the thumbnails folder. All the thumbnails have been then regenerated successfully.

  Much simpler and less time consuming than the rotation method.

  Currently with music music/iCloud Apple library there are "issues" of the way in which it matches music files. There are many discussions here and in other forums on this particular issue. Apple knows about the problem and are working on a solution - had this from two different technicians to Apple BTW. But when it will be resolved is anybody's guess.

• Mapping capabilities in JavaFX2

  I've seen a lot of tutorials on the simplistic mapping of JavaFX. I saw nowhere how we could combine something as simple and necessary, by drawing a line on a bar chart. JavaFX is really as limited as it appears? My view on this is that any graphical object "child" should know how to draw itself in its object parent (axes) and you draw children in the absence of order in a simple way on the same axes. Type 'JFreeChart' all types of specific graphics approach is a total pain. Tried years a go and ended up writing my own package of 2D graphics of Swing that is completely flexible and is used in a day in energy trading applications. In any case, it is my only complaint more. I really wonder how flexible is JavaFX2 is the graphical representation plan. All the tutorial I've seen are very simplistic.  Pointers to additional material would be very appreciated especially around low level extensibility. Looks like the weather is going to be called the Swing - which is good, but not if representation graph/mapping capacity is not in it.

  Apart from the lack of flexibility, JavaFX graphics library has other issues such as the memory consumption or scenegraph huge slowdowns when connecting the large paintings (in terms of data volume) to a scene.

  But remember that, as long as you want your office, you can use a Swing incorporated in JavaFX graphics library, so you can either use JFreeChart or even your own personalized because you don't like not JFreeChart.

  You can also create your own custom graphics that better match your needs. That's what I did for some chart that was causing way in many downturn node/vector diagram. I expanded XYChart, put a canvas in the chart area, and made all the bitmap style drawing I did in Swing (and all delays and memory suddenly disappeared... problems). You can even re - use Swing/Java2D code directly to the FXGraphic2D of JFree assistance while drawing on the canvas.

• Wheel of parameters to remove/archive the older folio does not work on iphone app v29

  IPhone 5, multi-folio viewer from Adobe app has recently updated to v29, two questions a folio in the multifolio application.

  Problem:

  When I'm in the library where the issues are, I would like to press the wheel to settings in the rightcorner to remove/archive older versions. This is to remove the old folio and download a new folio.

  But the settingswheel is not responding. Is this a bug in v29? The settingswheel works great on the ipad version.

  This is a bug, that the adjustment knob must be deleted entirely on the iPhone if there is nothing to choose, as the privacy policy. To remove the folios, drag to the right and press the button Delete which appears.

  Unless you're 'home sharing', which he does not seem like you are, two libraries (macbook and iMac) are distinct, so a change does not affect the other.  Best way to test would be to remove a few songs you can download easily and see if it changes.  But I don't think it will be a problem.

  A device to sync with a library, apparently your wife now.  Copy the library to the other computer, and then modify it as you wish.

  I have developed a RS422 driver in LabVIEW for the basic operation is as initialize, reading, writing, closing etc. Later I used it as a library wrapped in TestStand scripts.

  The question is, when I try to read the answer to one of the command, I am able to observe it in the iteration 6th step of reading, where I'm supposed to read for the first time.

  Please suggest any ideas on what could be the reason.

  You need to know if the response data really who arrives late, after giving a command or the VI you wrote is not able to capture the correct data.

  If you have a recorder RS 422 or bus Analyzer then it will be easy to analyze the cause.

  Since you are able to read step 6 on reading a few questions:

  You are still able to read on the 6th read-only? If yes then probably the target USE responds slowly to this command or it sends too much unnecessary data that are read by the 5 first readings. (depends on your reading algorithm).

  Playback vi must be written such that it will be in a loop (with some time out) until it gets the required data. The expiration time should be configurable.

  Also before sending the order you must ensure that the buffer is empty (rinsed).
