License for two machines

I understand that the license is for two machines only, but what happens if I change one of the two machines, I can install the license on my new machine?

Disconnect from a computer: on the old computer, launch any application (e.g. Photoshop) and click Help > Sign Out.

Which disconnects the cloud together on this computer and frees one of your two activations allowed.

On the new computer, connect to www.adobe.com with your Adobe ID and download the software.

  • Is it possible to have 1 license on two machines, 1 PC and 1 iMac

I found here in the forum that the standard license allows users to activate and use CC software on both machines. Am I wrong? (License)

If it is true, I would like to know if it is possible to have this license to all creative cloud software works on two different types of machines such as 1 laptop and 1 iMac? Is it possible or Adobe requires the person to buy two different licenses, due to the fact that operational systems are different (Windows and MacOS)?

To use the same serial number?

    Hello

Yes, you can install creative cloud on 2 computers (several platforms, windows/Mac).

However you cannot use it at the same time.

How many computers can I install my creative cloud apps?

In order to download it to 2nd computer you don't need any serial number for activation, you need to sign in with your Adobe ID and password.

You can download creative by - cloud

    Hope that answers your query.

  • Good UPS for two machines

I have two mac pro which are used as file servers, so use the power minimum and idle most of the time. I would get a UPS that could hold them for 5-10 minutes (time for a script to execute in order to turn off the power). APC seem to have some nice models and I think that the SC620i would be a good choice but cable management appears to be serial. Can anyone recommend a good UPS for me that has a usb connection and a software for a mac to allow me to run a script to stop the machine.

    Thank you

APC builds good material and wait a couple of years of life on their part before the batteries die, and that becomes the true cost. for other questions, you can start here

  • a license for two Macs

    Hello

I read on one of your forums can I install Photoshop on two computers. I have the CS6 version on my old mac (2013) and I just bought a new mac book pro for the office and have migrated all the data. Photoshop still working on my old mac. Another tells me there is a configuration error no 16 and I have to uninstall and reinstall the product. so if I move forward and to do this, I'll be able to use photoshop on Mac? as easy as that? or that I must first disable it on the old?

  • Dreamweaver license for two computers?

    Hi all

We are a small press office with three employees. Our main work are newspapers, but recently, we are beginning to implement a home-sector page. By implementing this sector, we have chosen to buy Adobe Dremweaver CS 5.5 for small and medium-sized enterprises. Just one question remains:

Sometimes we have to change the computers, because one of our three obsolete computers and only some programs are running on it. That is why the two most recent, those who serve at all times in fact. As you can see it depends on the other question of whether a computer is used or another.

So it would be nice if Dreamweaver can be installed on both computers. Dreamweaver would never go on two computers at the same time. We just need to be able to choose between two computers, because sometimes one of them is busy. Is it possible to install Dreamweaver on two computers in the same network (used by the same person and not running at the same time), or is it necessary to buy two licenses (which would not be very economically advantageous, because an employee is even capable of using Dreamweaver).

    Thank you for your answer

  • Adobe CC license for 1 user on the second computer

    Hi all

I tried looking for the answer to my question, but that research gave no fruit. Apologies if this question has been addressed elsewhere.

I have a CC license and 1 member of my team (me!). I have used this license on my MacBook Pro, but I would now like to turn the MacBook on my iMac and more.

I read on some forums that each user can affect their license for 2 machines. Is this true? If this is the case, I installed Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator on my iMac, but I can not activate the license through my CC account.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

Cloud license allows 2 activations http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html

-Windows or Mac has no importance... 2 on the same operating system or 1 on each

-Two activations may NOT be used at the same time (noted in the link above of the license)

  • License for the Oracle ODBC database gateway

    Hello world!

I am using Oracle Database Gateway for ODBC (Oracle 11 g Gateway) to create dblink Oracle 10.2.0.4

According to this price list, I do not see the price details for the database gateway for ODBC Oracle

    http://www.Oracle.com/us/corporate/pricing/technology-price-list-070617.PDF
Please refer to page 3 and 4

and according to the guidelines of it, I don't need a separate license. Could someone shed some light. I have the database and the gateway in the same machine

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E11882_01/license.112/e10594.PDF

Please refer to page 1-7, which says

    Gateway for ODBC Oracle database
Database gateway for ODBC Oracle can be installed and used on a different machine
the machine where the database Oracle is installed and used. Should not be
to obtain a separate license for the machine running Oracle Gateway for ODBC

    Please shed some light.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello
As it is said, as long as you have a license of RDBMS, you need not a separate license for DG4ODBC. If confusion is where it says "Oracle Database Gateway for ODBC can be installed and used on a different machine," then it is just to clarify that you run the gateway on a machine completely separated from the performer the RDBMS under license, but you can also run DG4ODBC on the same machine where the RDBMS is installed.
If you install 11g DG4ODBC on the same machine where you have a 10g RDBMS then it must be installed in an another ORACLE_HOME.

If this still isn't clear, so please come back and let us know exactly what you need to clarify.

    Kind regards
    Mike

  • Is it possible under the EULA to have several virtual machines on a single physical hard disk while using the same OS license or do I need a separate license for each virtual computer?

I have several programs that are not compatible with my 64 bit Windows 7 operating system.  I would like to run each different software under another virtual machine of VMWare (5 packs of different software programs and 5 different virtual machines of Windows XP).  These would all be installed on your laptop.  I can use the same license of Windows XP for each virtual machine, or do I need a separate XP license for each (different XP in case 5 licenses)?

It is lifted directly from my EULA:

    1. GRANT OF LICENSE.
The manufacturer that you grant the following rights, provided that
comply you with all terms and conditions of this EULA:
1.1 installation and use.  You may install, use, access,
display and run one copy of the SOFTWARE on
THE COMPUTER.  The SOFTWARE may not be used
by more than two 2-processor both on the
COMPUTER, unless a greater number is
indicated on the certificate of authenticity.
    Then...
This means that as long as you are running two or more instances of XP at the same TIME, you agree? Or does this mean that, after you install once, you have reached your limit?
I imagine that most people (including those who are running Microsoft!) will say that the second interpretation is correct.
    However...
If this is the case, anyone their hard drive as a backup to clone strategy would violate the EULA!
  • I just got Adobe CC on my work computer. Previously, it was possible to install the Adobe C6 also on the PC at home on the same license? Is it also possible with Adobe CC, to install the software on two machines? I work in PC environment on both computers

You should check with the person who arranged the subscription to see what are the conditions for individual users.  Normally, an individual subscription license allows to have two machines with working facilities.  I don't know if the same applies to a subscription of volume / business.

  • License question: with the help of two "Standard Edition" licenses for > 8 vCPU by host

Hi, I've been reading place on it for a few hours and would like to get confirmation here.  I have

-a physical host: dual processor, 8 cores per processor

-multiple licenses VSphere 5.0 Standard edition

    -VCenter 5.0 Enterprise Edition

I want to distribute the VM with 12 vCPU and I expect to consume two licenses Standard Edition - one for each CPU, for a total of 12 vCPU.  When I try to do using VCenter I get error "virtual machine has 12 virtual processors, but the host only supports 8.»  "The number of virtual processors can be limited by the OS selected for the guest virtual computer or licensing for the host."

I think that it is a license restriction because on the same host, the VSphere evaluation has authorized the deployment of a 12 virtual machine using RHEL 6.3 vCPU.  I checked later vCPU on evaluation copy function and it was 32 channels for it proves that it is not a BONE or a physical problem.  I think I downloaded an evaluation of the 'norm' rather 'Enterprise', but I am not sure.

I read compare VMware vSphere editions and the 'Standard' column has CPU line: "CPU 1" and line vCPU: '8 - way '.  This makes me think that, for each new license, I should have a CPU with up to 8 cores.  that is by consuming two licenses, I use 2 CPU and up to 16 cores.

I also read the EULA VMware multi-core pricing and Licensing Policy , and he said:

Software licenses with six (6) cores per processor

It does not say "with hearts of six (6) software licenses by host '

    The following excerpt from the EULA is the only evidence that I could find to support the conclusion that for Standard Edition, the maximum number of vCPU for each host is 8 (regardless of the number of licenses consumed);
Combines VMware licenses on a single host software. Licensing policy allows combining the even on software licenses uniprocessor.

Someone can confirm the limitation and is there something obvious that I missed to compare VMware vSphere editions.  The difference between host and per processor is huge, I'm surprised that it is ambiguous.

    Thank you

    Diarmuid

Looking at this picture, it is said that you need 1 VMware Standard license per physical processor that your host has.  Down the chart to the vCPU, who said that a VM can have at most 8 vCPUs (for Standard).  Isn't 8 vCPUs per license, which is 8 vCPUs total.

The demo version is licensed Enterprise Plus and develops of vCPU 32 on a virtual machine.

Evaluation copies are for your temporary assessment, so you can decide if you like the system.  If you want to continue using it, you buy it.
