  1. what happens when you try to install Windows Update and the fix, you get any error message or error code?

  2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

  3 is the limited issue during the installation of specific updates?

  Take a look at the license for vCenter Server 4.0 Server Configuration. Connect section vCenter Server 4.0 to a license server explains how to connect to your LM License Manager (I assume that you installed on your virtual Center 2.5 server).

  When I check the updates in Thunderbird, it tells me the version 17.0 is and that it is the most recent version. I checked on the Mozilla site and the latest version to download is 24.5.0.   It does not download the complete program from scratch. I found a way around that by updating by MacKeeper. He has a manager updates tab that tells you what needs to update and not done the update for you.
  Not good Mozilla what another program updates your software better than you.

  Now that I found out that using the recovery on a new HARD drive would create the recovery Partition... comes the question... How do I update the recovery partition.

  What do you mean by update recovery partition?
  The recovery partition should NOT be touched!

  In which case you'd change the partition, the HARD drive recovery process could not be started!
