License of moving from the old computer to new computer

Hello

How can I do this? Just uninstall the old and download it again?

If so, I need to some license information-, I guess. But when I go to my account page and look at my products it is empty. That is my products are not registered. But obviously, I produced (creative cloud, PS) otherwise I would not be able to access the page of accounts in the first place...

Concerning

Jonas

Adobe products must be installed by using installation files - they cannot be moved between machines.  Your license allows installation enabled on both machines so there is no need to do anything on the original, except if you wish to cancel the ability to work with her.

Download/install the desktop application, connect and install applications subscription.

  • News Time Capsule, who am I clicking / moving from the old to the new

I am installing a new time machine.  I can't find anything that clearly explain what exactly I'm clicking and dragging from the old to the new.  It States in the article apple in the Finder to drag the time capsule backup disk image to the new original airport.  I do not see that whatever this is called image backup drive when I'm in the Finder.  I have the following:

OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.5

    MacBook, late 2009

Airport Time Capsule, 1 TB, think its 3rd generation

Here is the link to the apple site I use for instructions.

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/ht204078

When I click on the time capsule (when connected via Ethernet), I see a yellow folder called data. Data are referred to as a sharepoint under type.

When I double click on data, Finder displays the content on my time machine which are as follows:
    -' of a lizardson MacBook"it's a sparsebundle
    -' of a lizardson MacBook 1"is a sparsebundle

-3 or 4 files that I created to copy things from my computer not apple at the time machine and back to my mac

I also noticed that after I double-clicked on data I see an icon on the desktop, title given (with the icon that represents the data on a time capsule).

In Time Machine preferences, when I click Select backup disk, call it data (and has the same icon as the one on the desktop).

The State of instructions to click and drag in the finder... but think (which is probably not correctly) I'm docking time at my office - and just above machines drag this folder 'Data' on a new via the Office of the former?

  • Can I transfer files from the old computer running XP to new computer before or after you move the new Vista computer to Windows 7?

I have a computer running windows vista that I'm planning on upgrading to Windows 7. I will be transferring files and settings from my old computer running windows XP SP3.  Can I make the transfer to the new computer before upgrade Vista to Windows 7 or should I first, up grade for Win 7, and then do the transfer?  I also asked a previous question about the email, I use Outlook Express on the XP machine.  What happens to the emails, settings, and contacts once I use Windows Vista and Win 7 easy transfer to the have Outlook Express? The new computer has Outlook 2003 is installed, all the settings will automatically go to this program?

Make the transfer later.  Everything you do is do more work for the upgrade.  It takes hours as it is.  Please use the forums of office for questions by email.  Click Office link in the banner at the top of the forum page.

Yes, you will need a monitor connected to your computer to use an easy transfer cable. I suggest to use two monitors, one on the old computer and the other on the new.

I fight with this forum, so if I keep asking the same question is because I'm not move here very well. I had to load my lightroom online on my new computer because I don't have a cd driver. Now that I've loaded it I need to get my photos on the old computer. Any ideas on how to do it, and I don't have creative cloud

    Hi tinap50,

You can use an external hard drive to get all the images from your old computer to the new, then import into Lightroom.

  • Move contents from the old PC to new PC

Which is simplest and cleanest way to migrate all the content from my old PC (XP) to my new PC with Windows 8.1. Microsoft says it's to make a download available from Laplink (PCMover Express). This downloaded software will do the job if I connect the PC again to my router / FIOS network via an Ethernet cable and make the transfer of PC to PC over the network, or it would be more efficient to use the Laplink USB cable by buying their software?

It depends on what you mean by "everything."

In general, it is easy to move data files (e.g. documents, pictures, music, etc.) between machines, and if the machines are all connected to the same network, the copy on the network is the best way to accomplish the move (it is always prudent to copy, check the computer to see if everything is fine, and then delete the old computer instead of moving that automatically deletes the original files).

Some applications, such as Microsoft Windows Easy Transfer, move the 'parameters' as well as data.  For the most part, this includes things like the customizations of office and similar customizations; It may also include the "Favorites" browser, music playlists and so on.  These 'settings' are really more data files, but they are located in more obscure places and the average user probably don't know the files to move or where they need to go.

In general, you can not move the programs (applications).  These must be reinstalled (assuming they are compatible with the new version of Windows) using the original installation media (CD, DVD, downloaded the Setup file).  PCMover of Laplink, however, claims to be able to move the programs.  I've never used this product and I saw mixed reviews.  So if you either don't have installation media for your programs or you don't want to go through the resettlement process, read the reviews and decide if you want to take a chance on this program.

Whether you use the USB owner or your network, apparently PCMover will work with both.  The main difference will be the transfer speed, and this will depend on the type of network you have and the type of USB connection available.  Typical home networks now have a theoretical maximum throughput of 100 Mbps.  USB 2.0 has a theoretical maximum of 480 Mbps.  Gigabit networks are faster and so are USB 3.0 connections (although I think would be that does not support the USB Laplink USB 3.0 cable).  Here's what a 2010 review had to say on this subject:

With an external hard drive, USB2, we found it took about four hours to travel 30 GB of data, and beyond 100 Mbps Ethernet the same charge took more than a day of solid copy. Your best bet is a Gigabit LAN (if you have one) or the cable USB Laplink, which should in theory work around twice as fast as an external drive.

  • Transfer of files from the old PC to new PC?

    Hello

I am trying to transfer my profile of an old HP ProBook s 4430 to a Dell desktop all in one computer

How can I do this? I'm sick of this slow computer! Help, please.

    Thank you in advance.

    Easy Transfer is correct.

Easy transfer is a facility built into Windows 7, designed to transfer your data AND settings from the old to new PC.

You will need an external USB hard drive.  Hook it up and get it recognized by the old system.

    Click on the starting planet

Simple type in the text box that appears

    Select and click Easy transfer

From there, it is easy to follow.

It creates a large file with everything what it.  Works like a charm.  I use it all the time and have for years.  Also works for the passage to a new hard drive.  It will take a while on the OLD computer, but it's walk and come back later thing.  Works much faster on the new.  Helps a lot if you use your USB 3 port and that you have an external hard drive that supports USB3.
