  As an experiment to test the corruption, export your catalog to a new current LR3 copy with a completely different name:

  Open your catalog in LR3.

  Click on the collection of all photographs.

  File / export as catalog...

  Name the LR3 added something like LR3forLR5 so it is obvious that what work you with, later.

  Choose a location for the catalog which has plenty of space and your LR player and/or startup has also several GB of free, because I think that export will make a temporary copy of the catalog on startup/LR drive first and then copy it to the final destination, when it's over.

  Click Ok and let the export happen.

  Open this new catalog in LR3.

  See if the number of photos in the Photos is what you expect.

  So, we currently have a pair of failover ASA 5515 - X running at one of our sites. This serves as a VPN gateway for our users. I am migrating users from the old Cisco VPN client to the newest Cisco Anyconnect client. I have work and installing anyconnect. Meanwhile, I discovered that process to take care of TLS 1.1 and using the Anyconnect client, you must use the most recent 4.0 Anyconnect client. To use this client, you must have something license called a "Anyconnect more" I think it was a recent change of return in 2014. We currently have the Anyconnect Essentials license installed on the ASA pair. I discovered that not only it a license upgrade available for upgrade Anyconnect positive of the battery, but the Anyconnect Plus license is subscription now. Boo Cisco. But that's another debate.

  'Could not initialize installation' could indicate a corrupted download. If you haven't done so already, try the following steps:

  1. Uninstall Lightroom 6: How to manually uninstall the Lightroom
  2. Use the Adobe Cleaner tool to remove the remains of program use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems
  3. Download a new copy of Lightroom 6 to install Photoshop Lightroom
  4. Try reinstalling the program.

  If, after re-downloaded, you keep getting the same error, I recommend you to review the installation log files to identify the specific error: Troubleshooting Adobe Creative Suite install problems with log files.
