Licensed Professional CS5, upgrading educational CS2 license, can be transferred?

If I understand correctly:

1. teaching licenses cannot be transferred

2. If you upgrade to a professional education, it replaces the old license (stop me if I'm wrong)

So, I just want to know if the Professional license latest may be transferred to another person, like any other professional license?

Once we have a full license (they are not known within Adobe as a professional license), it is immaterial that it was obtained through an upgrade from a school or educational version. The license has the same privileges of transfer if the full product, not an upgrade, was purchased. Once the upgrade is finished and you pass on this license, you can use is no longer the academic license or educational original.

Were you able to get installed CS5.5? If not, what is your operating system? If you are under Windows, it can help in this discussion: where can I find the file .exe Photoshop CS6/Windows 7 please?

I have Adobe CS4 for PC, but recently bought a Mac. My driver's license can be transferred to a download that is Mac compatible?

No, he can't. Platform Exchange only for current versions, sense CS4 and I'm afraid you're long of upgrade eligibility, too. that and of course the CS4 is not compatible with the current versions of Mac OS x. So before you waste time endlessly, simply sign up for creative cloud.

  • Windows 7 license can be transferred?

    Hey guys,.

I wonder a license of windows 7 can be transferred from one hard drive to another?

Basically, the hard drive on my laptop has failed and I have to replace.

Although I think that the laptop came with windows installed on it and I think I read on the forum who love windows that cannot be transferred.

On another note, there is a label of windows at the back of the laptop with a windows product key if that makes a difference.

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

-OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

  • Install CS5 UPGRADE from cs2 on Windows 8

I just bought a Windows computer running Windows 8, and I want to install it on CS 5. But I CS 5 is an upgrade, so it will not install I did not already have CS2 (my previous version) on the computer, and CS2 installs on Windows 8. What should I do?

I don't have CS2 (my previous version) already on the computer,

You don't need to have installed CS2.

If CS5 upgrade Setup cannot find an eligible earlier version installed then it will prompt you to enter the serial number CS2 instead.

  • xp license can be transferred to the desktop for laptop

I have an office installed with XP Home (purchased separately - cd), now I want to buy a laptop and would like to transfer my XP license for old office laptop, can a guide it is possible. What is the process?

If it is a retail Windows XP CD (which it seems to be) then just install on the laptop and turn it on, that's what he is.  Legally, you are not allowed to install on several computers, so to comply with this EULA, you would need to remove it from the desktop computer, to remove an operating system you format the drive hosting the BONE, it goes without saying that all the files on the disk will be lost when you format it.

The retail license transfer is really not a problem, it will be the least of your problems!  Perhaps your problem is that there is no driver available for the new XP computer laptop so that you might not be able to run correctly with Windows XP.  By their nature notebooks are built with hardware owner, if the manufacturer of the laptop has not designed the laptop to Windows XP support, they provide no drivers for it and it will be almost impossible to find the other drivers.  You might have more luck if you buy a portable class business and not the cheapest destined to consumers, usually mobile phones intended for business customers are likely to be the only new likely to have Windows XP support.

This really isn't my business, but I think you should go and accept Windows 7, Windows XP is on its last leg, after the operating system is now 10 years old and long out-of-standard support.  Like it or not Windows 7 wins wide acceptance and much new hardware and software is designed to take advantage of the new technologies that are not supported by the Windows XP now for 10 years.

You should consider your options carefully before begin you this project of installation of Windows XP on your new laptop computer, ask the manufacturer whether they support it.  Also consider whether or not you want to restrict or limit your options when it comes to the use of the new hardware and software.  A better alternative would be to buy a laptop with a Windows 7 license professional and install Windows XP mode/Virtual PC top.  Also remember that Windows 7 Professional is provided with Downgrade rights to Windows XP Professional and that the seller of the laptop can support this facility and do it for yourself, who will continue to way you won't have to bother with that and your current Windows XP license valid for use on any other computer.

  • Upgrade from CS2 commercial education full CS5?

    Hello

I'm new to this forum. I have a question about upgrading to CS5. I don't think that there was another question on this specific issue I have. If there is, I'm sorry to see it again.

Basically, I have a copy of version CS2 Design Premium Education. Now, I would like to upgrade to CS5 Design Premium Commercial version. I didn't need to work from home before, so never really need commercial license for my laptop. But now it's time to get one, so I can work anywhere.

I know there is an upgrade from CS2 to CS5 version I can buy, but it doesn't tell me if it can be used on the education version too.

Can someone confirm that the upgrade works on an education version too?

    Thanks heaps.

    Leanne

You can use the teaching license to upgrade to a commercial license. In fact, it's one of the reasons that adobe has created the educational license to encourage you to purchase a commercial license when you went out on your own. However, you new license replaces the old. You cannot use the old computer software one and simultaneously use the new license on another computer.

  • Upgrade to Photoshop CS5 from CS3/CS2/6.0

I bought Adobe Photoshop 6.0, then upgraded to CS2, CS3 then.

    Can I upgrade to CS5?

If so, can I install the trial version and activate it later once I have the key?

Given that the key is a key to upgrade, what happens to ask to verify the fact that the CS3 version (which was an upgrade) was based on a commercial version full?

The reason for all these questions, it's that I'll be upgrading to Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit. I would just install Photoshop CS5 and try it, then order the update to complete the installation later. I am concerned about an upgrade is not appropriate (1) and the need to install Photoshop CS3 completely and then run the update to CS5. If I have to, I can just install CS3 after my upgrade from Windows.

Thanks in advance for your answers. While I've seen a few questions about the upgrade, I missed this specific scenario if it has been previously published.

The upgrade process is really very simple these days - even on a new box that was ever installed Adobe.

Upgrades are full as versions once installed. During the installation of updates, all that matters is that you have a serial number to a version more early qualifying practice - Adobe gave to it followed all the way back to your full version, which can be up to 20 years ago. Update serial numbers can only be verified by serial up to 3 versions back numbers anyway, so Photoshop CS is not eligible for a CS5 upgrade.

There is no need to install older versions on a new computer before installing CS5 upgrade version. It is in fact the complete code on disk independently to know if you have purchased a version full or upgrade - the serial number indicates the installation program if you have purchased a full version or upgrade license.

When you enter your serial number for CS5 upgrade, the installer will ask you to enter an earlier qualifying serial number (full or upgrade regardless). I have successfully completed this specific scenario myself several times.

The only drawback of the above is that there is a world of difference in the terms of the licenses (serial numbers) between a suite and a stand-alone version. If you install a trial on CS5 so try to keep just the Photoshop component (and enter its serial number), you will need to first uninstall the entire suite, and then install the standalone Photoshop CS5 upgrade version. Enter your serial number CS5, then check by entering your serial number for CS3.

  • CS2 to CS5 Upgrade Options

    Good afternoon:

I provide COMPUTER services to small businesses in my small town, and one of them uses the versions CS2 Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.  The owner has recently replaced its aging with a new laptop computer laptop, and after installing of its products purchased from CS2, he solicited the activation, which has not discussed here:

Trying to activate photoshop cs2 on a new computer and it fails saying error code 24:24. Any ideas? I followed

I followed the instructions in the link in this forum, and have versions "no activation required.

However, my customer wants to have properly enabled versions of its software, for the obvious benefits and is willing to pay for an update to CS5 (someone else in the Office using CS5, so have them on the same version would be beneficial).

What are the options to upgrade to CS2 to CS5?  It is a single hop (i.e. install CS5 over the existing) or do I need to upgrade progressive-step (CS2 > CS3 > CS4 > CS5)?

Finally, where can I buy CS5?  I ran a quick search of the usual suspects (BestBuy, we have in the city) and the Amazon.  Neither showed the availability of CS5, only creative cloud that my client will simply not use).

    My thanks.

    Best,
    Jeff

Adobe sells only CS6 not CS5. I can't speak for any reputable vendor that sells even CS5.

Here is the link for CS6. It would have sold for full price. I think that the reductions are only for CS5 or CS5.5 update.

  • How can I purchase the version of flash professional CS5?

How can I purchase the version of adobe flash professional CS5? I hate this new version (cloud), I just download a trial version and I think yesterday is the worst version. I'm still working on Action Script 2.0 and I have a lot of projects registered in cs 5. When I opened in the last professional Flash, it clears my actions, I mean roll for example. I would buy a CS5, but in my country (Poland) is only for horrible EDUCATION and they cannot sell me this version. The staff told me that I can buy an EDU version, but how? They tell me I can't, so I said all that. Help me. Thanks for help.

Adobe does not sell older versions of their software, so your only option to get CS5 would be to find the third-party provider and take your chances.  Adobe still sell CS6 software but I don't know if it's a global offer.

    Buy CS6:
