  I searched for a tutorial get the effect of the lights in the next steps, but I can't seem to find a. It's a bit difficult to describe the effect so take a look at this clip:

  I am referring to the part: 30 seconds in the actual video (when the lights go out, then come back with the guy in the average mask scary behind the lead actress).

  It seems to me like a fade to black on the first stage with the only actress, then fade upward on the scene with the character hidden behind it - but that fade upward is underway, a light also on overall (during filming) filling before the actors - giving the effect of light ambient general light , then a light about the upcoming talent a little later than the general mood - I think that you describe as "Twinkle."

• Help! Problems with light effects.

  I'm not sure if simply, I don't know how to use the program properly or if I'm running into some sort of strange technical issue, but when I try to use render > lighting I can't move the light source. I can see the light, but there is absolutely no kind of the area delimitation or container around it, and it seems to be unmovable. It just something I miss or cela a bug?

  Firstly, you must ensure that you are using a video card supported with the updated driver.

  See this link to the FAQ, it will give the list of supported cards and GPU guide troubleshooting.

  When you get the lighting effects, you should see an ellipse that you can move and change. There are several selections to the right of the word 'lights '. If you select one that looks like a flower, you get a widget to move the light.

  Check first GPU, then play.

• Problem to copy a selection after Photoshop light effect

  After application of the Photoshop filter lighting effect it was not possible to use the "Select all" command or copy a selection. After resetting the preferences and disabling of all external plug-ins it has not solved the problem. After saving the image and Photoshop is restarted, the commands are working properly again. I use Photoshop CC 2015 on a Mac (Yosemity 10.10.5)

• Captivate 8 is NOTHING but the bugs and errors and aggravation - effects are Worthless

  I'm a discharge again.  I'm Captivate in hell.  Absolute hell.  This program is the worst thing I have ever been faced with aid - the simplest of things, THE SIMPLEST of THINGS, cannot be done without aggravation and headaches.  I can't tell someone how exact and my hatred of this program is accurate, words cannot express such deep emotion.  Suffice it to say, I'm in hell.

  All I want to do is get a series of phrases from the right, to the left, with audio, timed one after the other, with about 5 seconds between each ease-In.  NOPE.  I made and remade 6 times now, and all 6 times the effects are screwed up, don't work and lock on.  I can't take more.  I can't just take another day about the stupidity of this program. The simplest Animation 101 idea of easing in the text is this shit hardest I've ever had to do in this crazy program.  I can do this with my eyes closed in other animation programs.

  I recommend to my superiors to empty the trash as soon as POSSIBLE.  Development time has double because of bugs and other problems of Captivate.  I can't take more.

  Have you tried to download the evaluation version of Captivate 9 and study the effects of the recently renovated it?  If this is not the case, at least take a look until you throw you under the bus.

  You can also find the new delay action useful because it allows you to specify with advanced Actions in periods of time between actions.

  If none of this helps, there is always a Storyline.  Out of the frying pan...

  Hi when I try to use the lighting effects image filter going DARKER, lighter, as if not in reverse. If I try to lighting on a layer that is solid medium gray, he turns completely black!

  I have problems with the lighting effects filter, I can use it on photographs, but the filter option is inactive on others, advice?

  This filter only works on images of 8 bits, not on 16 bit. Could it be the problem?

  Photoshop lighting effect filter does not work. A new layer called just the effects of light appears, why?

  Under help > system info, copy and paste the first two lines identifying the exact version of your OS and Photoshop.

  In Photoshop, the command is the menu Filter > render > lighting effects

  Don't use "Last filter" or it runs the command without bring to the top of the dialog box.

  Hello

  The tutorial refers to work in the layers panel. Choose window > layers.

  1. A new folder is possible in the layers panel by clicking on the folder icon at the base of the Panel or by selecting "New group" of the fly of the layer menu panel.
  2. The folder can be renamed by double clicking on the name of the folder and enter the new name
  3. The blending mode is changed at the top of the Panel. By default, it reads 'Normal' or as folder by default, it reads 'Pass Through'. Click here to change to Color Dodge
  4. To move the ellipse layer folder drag the layer (in the layer panel) on the folder you created

  Lighting effects is available only in 32-bit mode.

  You can see which mode you're going on Image > Mode > 32 bits/channel

• Lighting effects darken Clips?

  I want to animate an Omni light using Adode first for interesting effects lighting effects. I want to animate the intensity from 0 to max in a few seconds, but when I add a keyframe to 0, the rest of the clip is darker than the original source footage, if that makes sense.

  I'm pretty new, so thanks for any help

  I fixed it, for anyone else who has this problem, go to the 2 light and change in directional and adjust the intensity accordingly.

  I managed to solve the problem.

  Lighting effects will only work if the file is in 8-bit format and will not work in 16-bit format which is what I tried to do.

  Hi Ryan,

  Lightning effect using the GPU.  Check that it is enabled in preferences > performance and if so, click on the Advanced button and try a drawing of basic or Normal Mode. Restart Photoshop.

  Additionally, make sure that the graphics card drivers should be up to date.

• light effects will not be rendered complete

  When I try to make the effects of light there is a horizontal gap in the middle of the image where the lighting effects are not make. Never had a problem rendering 3d or other things. Is this a flaw in the software? Windows 7 64-bit Photoshop CC 2014, processor Intel Core i7 3.4 GHz, RAM, 16 GB and GeForce GTX 560 Ti VRAM 1 GB video card.

  Solved. It seems that all the open files in onOne 9 pick up something that prevents the rendering of light effects. Export into Tif, tiff opened and made that solves this problem.
