  It's really confusing to me... In catalog settings, I automatically "save changes into XMP" NOT checked. When I want to record, I select all, then "save metadata to file. However, most of the time this saves only the image "Most selected", it does not t create/write to XMP for all files selected? However, I know that it is intended to save all of the selected files and I also know that sometimes it is / has recorded all of the XMP files for me. I can't understand why sometimes it saves all files and some time only "most selected"? I tried in the library and develop Modules. Is there a reason for this or is this some sort of bug?

  When you have what you want to save the selected PDF file, make sure that you press properties, and set the resolution in the settings.  PDF files themselves have quality settings, (print quality, Web quality etc) then make sure that you have the right to a game if you plan to use the "print" function to save in PDF format.

• Trying to save the photos on a CD - R

  What you were doing was to occupy the office with the files.  Right-click on the Start button and select Explorer.  Then in Explorer navigate to the office on the left in the list of folders.  Then to the right, go to view | Details and you should see then the entire list of files on the desktop and you can prune from there.

  The Save for Web option is 'hidden' (now it's file > export > save for Web, legacy) in the latest versions of Photoshop and is not recommended.

  In the page layout, you can change the printer to a single Note and then click Print. A note, you can use:

  File > save as > PDF > save

  You can then display in Adobe Reader

  You're confused image with dimensions in pixels size.

  There is no problem as long as you has not changed the dimensions/resizing the image when you saved as jpg.

  Check the dimensions in pixels of the original and the jpg - they should be the same.

  To put it otherwise - size of the image in megabytes are not an indicator of the size of an image (the size it will print). Dimensions in pixels are.

  This does not to be in Lightroom, you have to manually navigate to the location where the catalog is stored and then move the disk location.

  After seeing your final goal you need to send files directly to customers, I have a suggestion that worked well for me.  CC offers the possibility very convenient and time saving to register an IDML (like many PDF s) option PACKAGE.  FILE--> PACKAGE.   I think it would be the perfect solution for what you need (faster) because they will probably an IDML file and the graphics related to display your art correctly.  You can package the fonts too, but you have to pay attention to restrictions regarding sharing of their past the original owner of the license.  The package is now a one-stop shop to get your files in a format that is usable by anyone.  IDML for those with CS4 or superior and PDF for someone else.

  

  In addition, back to the original problem of not being able to save/export as IDML...  When you access the FILE--> EXPORT you get a dialog box EXPORT like that?  You should be able to choose IDML in the drop-down list.

  

  If you do not have these options, make sure you have all updates installed.
