• Why Photoshop plugins not available when I open an image in Lightroom and select "Edit in Photoshop?

  Photoshop plugins are no longer available when I bring a picture in Photoshop from Lightroom.  When I work on an image in Lightroom and select "Edit in Photoshop", the image opens in Photoshop, but all Photoshop plugins are not available and, in fact, do not appear in Photoshop under filter at all.  However, when I open a picture directly in Photoshop, all plugins are available.  Why plugins suddenly vanish when putting an image in Photoshop from Lightroom?  I hope someone is able to help me fix this problem.  I am under Lightroom, Photoshop CS6 13.0.6 on OS X 10.10.5 6.3.

  I posted this question on the forums for PS and LR because I'm unsure as to who might be more appropriate.  I only experience this problem when making an image in Photoshop from Lightroom.

  Looks like you have been in the library module and chose with a preset export or export to email. Whatever it is, your Presets 'export' were to reduce the size of the image exported to about 600 k.

  In Lightroom, the library module and under the file menu, simply select the Word Export. Who will open another dialog box. GO through each option in this dialog box to choose where you want to export the file, what color space to use, what name to give to each folder, what metadata to include and do not forget to select the export size! I included a few screenshots for your reference.

  If you export exactly the same path several times, you can create your own export preset to make this process faster.

  Process of synchronization of lla you describe, it's not how it should work. When you edit in Photoshop with Ctrl-E, Lightroom, must pass the file raw and XMP data for your montages on Photoshop. Photoshop uses his Camera Raw engine to make these changes, and you should see a background layer that has all of your edits included.

  the fact that you do not see the changes in Photoshop makes me suspicious that you have an old version of Photoshop (with an old Camera Raw). What version of LR and PS do you use? If you use an older Photoshop here, by what to do:

  Normally, you will see a dialog box warning that would give you the opportunity to 'Return in Lightrom', but you may have disabled it. To reset, go in Edition > Preferences > General and click the button "reset all warning dialog boxes.»

  Once you do this, opening in an earlier version of Photoshop will trigger an alert allowing you the choice of 'open anyway', or "make in Lightroom."  You must choose to render in Lightroom.

• Sharpening LR4, editing in CS5.

  Normally, I don't base crop and tonal corrections in LR, export TIFF for print size with a bit of sharpening. Can do editing in CS5. But I have a daughter with really, really beats the acne. So to save large files edited on it, I'm Cntrl/e ' ing and retouching/easing him directly in CS5. So, my question is the sharpness, I put in LR applied before being sent to CS5 (is this really the same as an export), or if it is applied when exporting to TIFF size?

I did not open the box until tonight, so I didn't know until I compared the.  I entered my account here page number, but it says invalid.  The serial number of the work area.  The boxed version is Canadian French (I'm American).  It will be a problem?

  Edit: I was able to uninstall the drive and reinstall through links here for CS5 Extended.  However, I can't find links for installation of Lightroom.

  I use Photoshop CS5 in Windows 7 and need to open the RAW of Sony ARW files.

  At a presentation last night and expertise gave a lecture on his Mac on Lightroom and how RAW files can be imported.

  He showed how Lightroom differs from Camera Raw and convinced me that I need Lightroom.

  Lightroom is a great companion to Photoshop CS5. It will give you the last Camera Raw features. Lightroom will create a PSD file or SENT to Photoshop so that you can use all the tools of Photoshop, that you are used to. When you have finished working in Photoshop, this file will be saved and added to your Lightroom Catalog. I think you'd be very happy with the workflow.

  Camera Raw using Photoshop CS5 is more ancient than the raw editing capabilities of Lightroom 5. Camera Raw is used to convert the image when it transfers from Lightroom to Photoshop. Because your version of Camera Raw won't have all the features that Lightroom, he wouldn't be able to convert precisely the image during the transfer. The solution is simply to allow Lightroom create TIF or PSD file before opening in Photoshop, rather than at the end of the session of Photoshop. The process works very well, and many users use this workflow.

  Hello, I appoligize if this has already been answered, I couldn't find a solution.  I have the new Canon 5 d Mark III and I've updated to Lightroom 4.1 so I can import RAW images in LR 3 5.  But when I go to 'Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS5' or 'merge to HDR Pro in PhotoShop", put PS in the works, but it loads all files. I'm assuming it's because the PS Camera Raw is obsolete. So I downloaded cameraraw6-7_r1_win_030612, but when trying to install it, I get "some updates could not be installed. Update is not applicable".

  What I'm missing here?

  Fixed using technical support. You must manually remove Camera Raw of the below sites and create a new Admin user to install under... The latter seems odd, but I kept getting "update does not apply" with my normal Admin login (this is a personal PC, and I installed everything under the Sun as my current login), it must have something to do with Camera Raw files that are defective in my user profile (AppData, etc.)

  For anyone else seeing this, remove the sub directories:

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Camera Raw 6

  C:\Program Files\Fichiers Raw Files\Adobe\Camera 6

  \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRawyourusernameC:\Users\

  Then logout and log again under the new Admin account you created.  Install camera Raw 6.7 RC, it should install fine.  Then you can log back as your user and normal use with Camera Raw 6.7 PS.

• LIghtroom versus organizing------PSE versus CS5

  I need a little help. I built a website for family and friends to view some of our family photos and videos. I used SlideShowPro Director to manage the photo albums on the site (best $59 I think I spent up to now). They have a plug-in for Lightroom to manage albums and download content automatically. Right now I am manually load on the site but which is not a big deal, if I add to an album or editing photos, it would be nice to have this flow right up.

  I currently have PSE10 and PRE10 as well as the Organizer. I also have a new digital camera to come which is 18mp, but it's not really a problem for me here, and at this stage. I am now told by sales (I should have done better research forward, but not a big loss, and my son can use the package of items if I go this way) is that PSE10 supports 8-megapixel pictures so if I bring something bigger in they will be scaled down. In addition, that Lightroom works seamlessly with CS5, but not with the Organizer.

  I am also told that catalogue the organizer and Albums cannot be worn over LR. I have 12,000 files it contains now and many I have assigned faces, much more then an album, and keywords. So if I went with LR to manage site albums I have to build the LR catalog from scratch. Although it seems, I can just drag - drop my files inside.

  Then someone can put a bit of truth to this or clear up any misinformation? I would go with LR now and use it with my PSE and PRE10 I currently and upward to CS5 when necessary. I don't mind the initial pain to build my LR catalog if I have LR work with PRE and PSE. And 8mp can't PSE10 larger scale to the bottom of the photos?

  If it is of any value to anyone here you go. I downloaded the demo and ran a bunch of tests and it is where I am at:

  • Lightroom is absolutely compatible with the application of PS elements. You can right click on an image and choose EDIT WITH PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS. Fact.
  • You can IMPORT Organizer items catalog to start. (Update: a caveat - it currently only supported through catalogs of PSE9.) I hope an update soon)
  • It is much more powerful then organizing elements, but for most of my organizing needs would have been fine. But LR has blown me away.
  • I downloaded and installed the plugin for SlideShowPro Director. It took about 10 minutes to install, configure and actually download an album from LR on my site and will automatically appear in the gallery in PHC. You can also change much configuration, SSP and either display that individual albums on one or more pages, or you can drop the gallery A with any number of Albums in there on a page.
  • You can add music to it and it has an automatic (but Basic) pan and scan feature.
  • SSP wrote HTML or PHP code for you and you just slide on a Web page and attach a hyperlink and done.

  When I thought of trying to do this the other day, and even when I woke up this morning I had no idea how I was going to do. Now, the pieces are all in place and work. Not for nothing, but it is also 1000 times faster, especially in the download on photoshop.com (sorry, but the download CSP process is painful).

  The hardest part was a SSP link to my database of the host (Network Solutions). But their tools and Wizard were fairly easy to pass through without support.

• Lightroom changing cc5 edits with stain remover?

  While editing in Lightroom as usual with dng files my images are reduced to your negative abandonment? almost like a drawing. When I use my stain remover, I closed Lightroom a few times, stop computer and have last updated? any ideas? Please?

  HELLO, this last answer disabling graphics cards as suggested (and it is always disabled)... was great, now when I use the stain remover I will return to the same problem of having my pictures suddenly in a key drop, negative sort of mode?

  The last two times I open Lightroom it CC does ' t open the correct version or it does not open the right editing tools.  He opens the exhibition - contrast, highlights, dark, white and black - there is no cheer up bar

  See you tools are the tools that are in the version 2012 process which is the current process updated. The brightness adjustment you refer to can be done if you go to the section of calibration and change the version of process in 2010. However, I think you'll find that you get better results with the latest tools.

  This isn't a feature of Lightroom.

  Only one user can open catalog file at a time. Multiple users cannot access the catalog at the same time, nor can you put the catalog on a network drive.
