• Problems with LR4 - develop Module - Edit in CS5

  I just upgraded to LR3 4

  When I make the adjustments on a RAW or JPEG file in the develop module and then send it to PS5 for more work, not all settings appear in CS5.

  Example, I have cultivated an image and then made the settings of the local show with the "Brush" tool

  Exported to CS5 using "Photo" "change in" and the image goes to CS, but shows only the adjustment of the harvest.

  I did all the updates on CS, but it is a pain.

  I'm on a MAC with Snow Leopard OS

  I can uninstall the upgrade and reinstall... ?  What would any use...?

  When you choose "change in" it will give you a message warning you that the ACR CS5 is not compatible.  You should check 'Render in lightoom' not ' to open anyway'.  If you do not receive the message, it may because you checked that "do not notify" previously, in which case go to edition, preferences, general tab and click "reset all warnings.

  The compatibility problem will be fixed in ACR 6.7 (today in the form of "Release Candidate" pre-release which can be downloaded), but full compatibility, it will ACR7 in Photohsop CS6, when it is released.

• PS CS5 hangs on LR4 edit

  Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, Intel i5 2.80 GHz, 12 GB RAM, ATI Radon 5770.  Photoshop crashes after one or two applications to the image.

  Problem solved.  Necessary to remove preferences.  Had made changes that caused the instability.

  According to me, which will be charged at the level of the BONE. Go to any Explorer .ai file, right-click, and then select open with > choose default program... command. Change open with: AI CS5 assignment and validation.

• LR4 Edit in Photoshop

  I just got LR4.1 installed, and I imported my 5 d 2 Canon RAW images. I make a few adjustments to color in LR, then to finish something. I select export to photoshop CS5. When I did make my clone, I save the file. When I come back to LR, I notice that the color settings are all off. The exhibition has changed, saturation, highlights. This happened to me in LR3. Any ideas?

  Have you tried to reset your default settings to develop in LR, the original settings Adobe for this type of file / camera?

• M2ts file Audio Editing problems (CS5.5)

  I am relatively new to CS5.5 and more than puzzled at not being able to highlight the audio 5.1 m2ts files to carry out any audio correction (such as a parametric equalizer).  It is also not possible to cary of J & L cuts either, for the same reason.

  I had no problem to do with AVI files, but noted a post-dated 2009 (which I guess applied to CS4), where none realize a montage could on the m2ts files, unless they were décimalisé all first, that only the AC3 Stream will be able to be edited.

  Can anyone suggest what I forget?  Even the base of Pinnacle Studio 15 can edit audio m2ts and I can hardly believe that it is always necessary demux these files for CS5.5...

  It worked perfectly OK, as long as I dropped the audio in a track unused 5.1. If I dropped it track 1, designating everthing els, he locks up as before.

  However, this lead me to the solution: it seems that some sort of bug has occurred when I used "Automate to sequence" to fill the timeline, as 5.1 together audio track 1 in the project is corrupted.

  Reboot again with a new authorized project the problem.

  I guess that's 'Sods law' that it should happen the first time I tried editing m2ts media!

• How to find only LR4 edited images

  I am interested in a set of images in a wide catalog that have been published.  There are 44K images in the catalog.

  Is it possible to make a collection of only the images that have been changed in Lightroom?  And vice versa, only images that have been imported without change?

  You can make a Smart Collection and set as the selection criterion: 'A adjustments' / "is true" or "false".

  I got a 3D model of a bottle, the Panel of the stage shows, next to the light, 3 "objects", which are, respectively: a sticker on the bottle (object001/label2), the bottle itself (wine_0/wine) and the top of the bottle (line001/material_91937, label1).

  The layer panel shows, only a single layer, called layer 1 that contains texturs for: material_91937, wine, label1 and label2.

  Now, what I would do:

  This model will never work as you want because it has not been established proeprly. This is very typical of the free patterns on the net, but with a little hunting, you can find something that works.

• CS5.1 opens in a small window of LR4.1RC

  When I send a picture of LR4.1RC to CS5.1 (64-bit), CS5 opens in a small window instead of full screen. If I open CS5 directly from the desktop, it opens full screen. I am running Vista. Is this a bug or something with my OS? Thank you.

  I have thought of it. I changed the properties of the shortcut on my desktop to ' Run: Normal ' to ' run: maximized "and it seems to have cured my problem... Never mind!

• Master CS4 CS5 editable text frames is no longer editable

  Problem: Text blocks on the pages of document CS4 (from locked on masterpage text blocks) are more editable on CS5 document pages.

  Location of CS4:

  MasterPages contain blocks of text that are locked to prevent users from inadvertently move them when working on pages of a document.

  Problem CS5:

The only way I found to make them editable once more is to unlock the text blocks. But unlock also removes the lock on position.

  What should I do to get things working in CS5 as if they were in CS4? Any solution quick or is - it simply is no longer possible?
