  • Import Images from the PS and LR problem

    Hi all

Since my last update App, I experienced some problems when you import images from LR into PS

    1. where, in LR, I select 2 or more images of 'open as layers in PS', I get a Pop Up telling me that I need the latest version of Camera Raw... It is up to date according to my account.

    2. once I finished with the photos in PS and save them in LR... the final image is ebb in different areas of the strip of film...  Sometimes it is the first image... sometimes, it's the last image...  I have the set to Capture time.  It slows down my work flow in organizing my photos.   I photograph the real estate and the placement of the final images is crucial.

All the tips are greatly appreciated.

    Thank you...

I took another new 128GB card and took a picture. Tried to import and got the same message "no pictures found. When I do this with a 32 GB card, it will recognize the photos. Is there a limit with Lightroom on the size card, that you can use?

You do not use the correct card reader. For these new high-capacity SD cards, you need a compatible card reader.

  • Unable to import photos from the Android phone and get a 0X80004005 error message

I'm trying to import pictures from my android phone, and I get this error code?

    Hi Pam,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand, from the description of the problem, you are unable to import photos from your android phone and you get an error.

I appreciate if you could answer a few questions.

    1. how you try to import the photos?

2 how to connect Android phone on your computer?

3 what is the brand and model of your Android?

Copy pictures and videos from the micro-SD card on your Android device to a computer, allows you to save and use them on your PC for editing, sharing or display. The process of copying the photos and videos from your phone to a computer is quite simple, just follow the instructions below to start.

    Step 1:

    1. connect your smartphone using the USB sync cable. A USB icon appears in the notification area of your phone.

2 on the smartphone, drag down the notifications bar and then type. Then tap USB connected and then climb.

3 on the computer, click START, and then select computer or workstation. The micro-SD phone card is recognized and listed as a removable disk.

4 double-click the removable disk to open it. Double-click the DCIM folder, and then the camera folder.

5 in this folder, you can copy all the photos and videos taken with the digital camera on your Android smartphone.

6 to disconnect your Android, just go to the area of notifications on your phone and press the USB sign to disconnect.

  • How to import images from network drive

When you import images from local drive, the option 'Copy import' is grayed out. I don't like it, but I accept that as a software design decision. Unfortunately the check box is disabled when importing images from network share also. And that's what I don't really understand why. I have my old collection of images on the NAS server. Because the imported images are linked to the network drive, I can't use items on my laptop when I'm offline. Really to import the pictures first using Windows Explorer or someone knows a workaround solution?

In this case, simply drag and drop all folders in my pictures on the computer laptop drive C. When everything is on the hard drive, click on to get Photos & videos from files & shirts

Then navigate to my images, make sure that all subfolders is selected and click Open or get the media.

Select all tags of keywords suggested and wait for the items to build stamps.

I just looked at problems with importing files from nikon D810 in LR 5.7 it pop a window saying it can't read the files to work on an imac 27 "yosemite on my mac pro running after several times he finally managed to read files and import them into LR, I never had this problem before there was a sort of update that could from cause?

What is the destination folder that the date be underneath?  In the top right it says users who suggests, you try to put the photos on top of your username instead of under your username.  Maybe that's the problem.  So change your folder in the drop-down list at the bottom right of what it should be rather than users, and if you're going to show us the destination of your photos at least scroll through the list of folders down right so that we can see which is the white highlight.

Here is how mine looks like if I want to put my photos imported under my subfolder users - Steve - photos by date:

  • Lightroom has suddenly ceased to import images

I use iMac and Lightroom 5 all of a sudden it will not now import images, but I can also Apple photo, use the SD and CF and SD cards card reader back iMac. The chance to see images at import then when I press the import button I get error messages files cannot be read

If you were able to import by changing the destination on the desktop, it means that the issue was due to the location of previous destination.

You didn't have all the permissions to copy pictures to this place and for this reason, you are unable to import.

  • I'm unable to import photos from my iPhone in the Photos on my Mac app.

I read that El Capitan has addressed these issues I've had for months. So I took the time to upgrade my software in an attempt to address the fact that any of the linked photo apps for refuse to recognize my iPhone more than 6.

I poured on the many resources to find a useful solution... Troubleshooting several times. Nothing I've tried works. At least now after the update to El Capitan, it shows my phone into the online photo app. BUT, ZERO photos.

I'm not interested in the use of the cloud... I don't care for streaming or sharing. I want simply to import pictures from my phone to my mac in order to save and save.

Anyone has any ideas I can try?

List of things I've already done:

    Soft reboot of the iPhone.

    Restart the Mac.

Update the software on laptop and iPhone.

Software of third party such as a work around for my photos.

Checked the settings and transferred my iPhoto library in the Photo app.

A try to access my photos via Capture of Image, iPhoto, Photo and preview.

I am at a loss. I can't believe how difficult it is. It almost makes me want to sell this laptop and get a windows computer-driven.

    There must be a solution.

Thus, when you connected your device to your Mac and open pictures, when you select the Import tab, what, exactly, you see?

Here are the pictures that are in your camera roll, OK? Pictures you have taken with the iPhone?

    See you soon,.
