I have two options: 1) Intel® Core™ processor i5-6500 (6 M Cache, up to 3,60 GHz) z http://ark.intel.com/pl/products/88184/Intel-Core-i5-6500-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_60-GH or 2) Intel® Core™ i7 - 6700 K (8 M Cache, up to 4.20 GHz) processor Hz http://ark.intel.com/pl/products/88195/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_20-G is the i7 in the portrait will be quickly worked my lightroom 5 and the next?
I would say that the fastest CPU, you can afford to get a 64-bit operating system and 8 GB of memory

iMac 27-inch 5K plug for Lightroom and Photoshop
Hi all
I am a hobby photographer (has a Nikon D750) and I am interested in buying an iMac 27 inches 5 k for Lightroom and Photoshop. What configuration should I I look to ensure a reasonable return (IE not freezing regularly)? I have seen the system requirements on the Adobe site but I gave will spend at least 3 k, I want not a computer that allows you to simply manage it but I don't want no exaggeration either. Regardless of the generation, I'll take the 16 GB of RAM, but I'm not too sure of i5 vs i7 and AMD R9 M380 vs M390 vs M395 performance when it comes to Lightroom and Photoshop. I usually update every 3 years or so, so I want a machine that will comfortably see me through overspending without I I don't know there is something even better in 2018-2019. I currently own a 2011 basic configuration end 13 inch, Macbook Pro and other than the magnificent 5 k screen, it's only the performance of Photoshop and Lightroom that are really convince me to level because it is always a great computer daily task.
See you soon,.
Emma
You need a powerful GPU, at or near the top of the line. Not a middle of the road GPU.

Just downloaded Lightroom 6. When I open it, I get the following message: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
I am running windows 8.
Extremely frustrated that I dropped $ 150 and it doesn't work!
I understand your concern.
Please restart your machine in safe mode by pressing the F8 key during the restart and launch Lightroom in this mode.
If it works well, go to Lightroom preferences > Performance > uncheck "use the graphics processor.
and restart your machine normally after that.
In addition, you can consult this article because the question is clearly due to the graphics card drivers.

Why Lightroom stop working after a few minutes of use?
After a few minutes if through my photos, it charges constantly and become all pixelated. Boxes initially get grayed out and becomes completely unusable. I leave force LR, but it will not reopen even. The LR app will jump just constantly going up and down on my dock when you try to open. I have to restart my computer everytime I want to use LR which lasts only a few minutes before failing. This started happening since I installed the El captain.

6 Lightroom "ghosts of color in the pictures developed?
I recently downloaded Lightroom 6 to update my 5 Lightroom, I had. I noticed in some pictures developed that I go back either in files or collections that it has multi color ghosting in the areas. Sometimes it takes a minute or two for the photo fix completely, sometimes this is not matter how long wait. Here are the large areas of non-relevant color around the edges of objects in picture. Any ideas?
TIA, Don
Thanks for the update.
In this scenario, I suggest you try to work on your images in the develop module.
In my view, that the issue of color was due to the incompatibility of your graphics card with Lightroom 6.
It would be better that you do not enable this option as it says "disabled due to errors" and Yes, you will get the full benefits if this will remain switched off.

Lightroom freezes several times
I downloaded and installed Lightroom and Photoshop CC, a week or two there, as a monthly subscription. Photoshop works very well. Lightroom becomes inadmissible, whenever I use it. Message is "Lightroom not responding." I have to close and restart. Sometimes it works 15 seconds before freezing, and sometimes it's 15-20 minutes walk. Frost occurs most often with the switch of library to the develop module. I completely uninstalled Lightroom yesterday, stopped and restarted the computer and reinstalled. Still does the same thing without change. Install the last updated yesterday and have rebooted at least 10 times today. I'm about to go back to Photoshop Elements for the Organizer, and edit it in Photoshop CC, but this clearly isn't the way it should be or what I pay for.
Operating system is Windows 10. Memory is 16 GB. Main hard for programs and the OS disk a car of TB with 60% free space. The processor is Intel i5. All images are stored on two other internal hard drives that are data only.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.
Greetings!

Lightroom CC freezes on loading the second image in the develop module
I use Lightroom CC on Windows 10 (recently updated to Win7). When I start LR, I can only load an image in the develop module. When the attempt to load the second image, LR is just froze. I left on for an hour now.
Here are the steps I've taken so far:
- Restarted LR.
- Restarted Windows
- Uninstalled and reinstalled LR.
- Run LR as administrator.
None of these steps has made a difference.
Manually disable the graphics processor in Lr
- Go to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences\Lightroom 6/CC Preferences.agprefs (Appdata is hidden folder)
- Right-click on the Preferences.agprefs from Lightroom 6 > open with Notepad
- Change the following line: useAutoBahn = true to the useAutoBahn next = false
- Save and close the file Lightroom 6 Preferences.agprefs
- Restart Lightroom CC/6.
