Could you please check and let me know if Lightroom is upgraded to the latest version 6.6.1?

Also have you tried to uncheck the option for "processor graphics use", since the performance in the preferences tab.

  • Lightroom 6 crashes frequently in the develop Module.

Lightroom 6 crashes (unexpected) frequently while in the develop Module.  It is not crashing in the library Module.  I use it on a Late 2008 MackBook Pro, 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 8 GB of memory.  I noticed it seems to crash that I scroll different images in the develop Module.  The accident comes as the preview image is rasterized and seems to be trying to solve.  This never happened with Lightroom 5. Can someone tell me what is the problem?  The specs on my computer, such as the 32-bit processor, are inadequate?  Can anyone offer a solution?

    Hello

Seems that Lightroom is not up-to-date.

Please update to Lightroom by clicking Help-> updates or check it out here: Lightroom CC 2015.2.1 / 6.2.1 now available

If even after update accident happens, then try the following steps

    Open Lightroom

    Click on edit-> preferences-> Performance

Uncheck the box use graphics processor.

    Click Ok

Lightroom to close and reopen that.

  • Missing files in Lightroom. Accidentally deleted.

I need to access some of the photos that I just changed in Lightroom. I don't know what happened. I needed more space on my computer, so I deleted the files that were not in Lightroom. (They were also still in my IPhoto) Now, I have the (!) because I can still see the image, why can I not use it?  I read that if it is not yet on my computer, Lightroom can't access.  I get that, but why can't I access it in IPhoto, it shows up also there, but when I try to get out of IPhoto it says also it is absent.  It's so frustrating!

    Try to export from iPhoto.

    File > Export

Export under the file tab, click the drop-down list type, and then choose Original.

Save copy and put it back in the folder pointing to Lightroom.

  • Lightroom CC crashes frequently.

I upgraded from the LR-5 to LR - CC 2015 a week ago.

Previously, lightroom has remained stable and took place without problems, now it often hangs and must be restarted.

There is no common place or a task that is crashing, I could be editing photos or images in the library and the navigation GET the "beachball of death" before everything dies on me and I need to re - start the application.

Is anyone aware of any problem with the LR CC?

    I use a MAC with os x 10.9.5

    Thank you and best regards,

    TO DUNIDAR:

Your solution to remove the update from Microsoft KB2670838 seems to have solved the problem. YAY!  Thank YOU, thank YOU, everyone, too.

I was sweating for a week, doing the same kind of things that other Forum members have done, like cleaning my disk space and re - download the program I found the culprit.

Then I thought about searching the Web and came on the HP Forum.

Thanks to you and all the others who have posted about this problem.  I really appreciate the exact steps to uninstall the KB2670838 update.  I would never be able to fix this on my own!

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC, OS = Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 - bit.  I dreaded the prospect that he was trashed.

The problem started after I installed an update for Norton Internet Security; I thought it was the culprit.

Oticed while my system crashed at random (with explore!), but the Manager of Norton was ALWAYS crashing and crashing everything by doing a scan. I had to reboot in safe mode to do something without crashing and uninstalled Norton.

He realized that the MS updates had been installed recently.

Took me a while to understand that the problem was not Norton, but a program in the system.

  • Why don't my 5.3 Lightroom import files more?

I am on a Mac with Lightroom freshly installed 5.3. It worked perfectly for a few days during the import of my iPhone or my 6 d (from the card reader). Suddenly, he stopped it. I went through all the discussions and I tried the following steps:

-Remove the preferences file (and re - start Lightroom)

    -Reinstall Lightroom

-create a new catalog (won't work either)

-check the permissions (as at the beginning, he could tell me that it can't read my files - but they worked perfectly!), which were very good

-allowed the paths of the files 'recently used' the import dialog

    -restarted my Mac once gazillion

    -updated the RAW software

-re-installed Lightroom again (but having removed virtually all of the HD which was related to Lightroom)

It simply doesn't get it. But before I re-installed to Lightroom, it would still give me the "error: cannot read the files ' sign. Now it begins simply import (the progress bar starts in any case) and then it just stops at a given time, not importing anything. Lightroom does not freeze, it is not just anything, and the progress bar stops. I wanted to attach a screenshot to show you what it looks like now, but that has not worked either, so whatever.

Here's the thing: it still works in Lightroom 4. So now, I've been importing into Lightroom 4 and add the files without moving them to Lightroom 5. But what kind of workflow is what? It is literally killing me because I paid money for software and I was patient enough to review all the dysfunctions, but I'm really out of wit. I hope someone can help me with this problem.

    Thanks in advance.

In my past experience of debugging this problem, the file that you have checked the permissions is not the exact record that attempts to write to Lightroom. Accidentally, things have changed, or the default 5 LR is perhaps different from what you think. In any case, screenshots would confirm that he is or is not the same folder with the appropriate permissions.

  • Lightroom 5.3: 'dΘmarrer print job cannot. "

I get this error "Unable to print dΘmarrer" Lightroom 5.3 frequently. When it happens, in the upper left corner, where jobs are put on hold it says "prepare the print job" and that doesn't go away until I have cancel the operation. No printing. Any thoughts on what is happening here?

As a reference, I was printing from lightroom lightroom 2 without problems. I print on an Epson 3880 printer. Usually no problem, but this problem has been popping up frequently end and don't know what to do about it.

Yes, models can get 'corrupted '. Trash, rebuild and I hope that you're all set.

  • Lightroom 4 collections of deleted - photo remain fooled

Hi chaps - I was messing around with the web module and have created several "collections" to test several ideas, LR has created duplicates for all distinct collections, I'm now at the stage where I decided what to do if you want to remove all duplicates in "All photos", but I thought that if I deleted 'collection' Associates duplicates would disappear, but they are still there I would prefer not to have to go through them all manually... advice please?

    Regards Roger

It seems that you told Lightroom (perhaps accidentally) to make virtual copies when adding to the collections. If you plan on this again in the future, simply turn this option, and then when you remove it from the collection, you will not have the "duplicates".

  • I can't uninstall the beta version. Can anyone advise me on why it is not in the control panel - remove programs.

  • Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit (OEM version) 0xc004f050 error code.

I have a machine running Vista ultimate 32 bit and decided to add it to windows 7 ultimate 64-bit (OEM) using a new hard drive with the operating system so that I can dual boot drive (or OS).

I did this so that I could benefit from 8 GB of installed RAM, of which only 64-bit acknowledges.

The first instalation of Win.7 was bugged with accidents frequent 'blue screen' and programs no longer responds. All updates have been installed, but I was not happy with the performance and decided to do a clean reinstall.

I formatted the disk and progressed to reinstal win.7.
The problem started when I had to activate the registration key; -a code 0xC004f050 appears with the comment that the product key is not valid.

I then tried the phone option, a somewhat laborious procedure of type a string of numbers to validate. This has not worked, although I checked the numbers were correct. The call was redirected to someone somewhere in India, judging from the accent, which gave me a new registration key.
Needless to say that this new key did not work either, with the same result as the original.

I phoned a 2nd time to inform them that the key did not work and have now been achieved here for assistance.

  • Updated software and need help with what to buy

I am a professional wedding/portrait photographer who uses photoshop cs3 with some additional photography actions in Photoshop.  I have lightroom also but that you not him have not used in years. I think it's lightroom 1. I shoot both first and JPEG. I'm interested in some other photoshop actions that require me to use Lightroom 4 or later or Adobe csmera gross. I also know my photoshop is very old, but it's not my priority to replace. My question is that if I get Lightroom which should buy Lightroom 4 and a higher?  And can I edit raw files in Lightroom 4 or higher, or do I also Adobe camera raw?  In addition, what are the links to purchase programs and are is only a compensation per month thing?  Thank you!!

Adobe Camera Raw is a plug-in for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. All the technology that is in the plug in Camera Raw is integrated in the Lightroom program. Lightroom does not use plug in Camera Raw, because he didn't need it. But the technology is precisely the same thing. So I do not know you can say that Camera Raw is better or worse than Lightroom because they use the same technology.

For buying Lightroom 4 or 5 of Lightroom, you will need to find a dealer that has the version that is available. Adobe sells only Lightroom 6, the last standalone and Lightroom CC 2015, which is the version of the subscription. Programs are basically the same, although Lightroom CC has received some updates of features that are not available in Lightroom 6. The subscription creative cloud is really a good because not only that you get all the features of Lightroom and updates frequently, but you also have the latest version of Photoshop with all the features it offers. Photoshop and Lightroom together make a powerful combination, especially for the professional photographer. And if you're still using Photoshop CS3, I think you would find that there are huge advantages to have the latest version of Photoshop.

  • Any Suggestions to stop frequent accidents Lightroom CC on Mac?

I just started using Lightroom CC on a regular basis and I notice frequent crashes (beach ball rotation of death, requiring a force quite). LR never seems to crash when I am in the midst of a mounting or, for the most part, other processes, with one notable exception, and I'll come back. In general, I finished what I do - whether publishing (in Lightroom or plugin) or scroll the library - and I suddenly noticed the spinning beachball. A few times, it seems to happen during a mobile synchronization but, in fact, must occur immediately after the synchronization is complete, because when I force quit and restart or find my mobile device, I can see that the synchronization was successful. Other than that, I have noticed no visible trend... except a boring frequency.

I am running the latest version of El Capitan (Mac OX 10.11.4) and Lightroom CC. I'm having no other accident issue and my MacBook Pro was just checked at the Genius Bar today and spent all his diagnoses.

I noticed a bunch of other reports of incidents here in the forums, but no common point. Any ideas/suggestions welcome!

    Algonquin salvation,

Please disable the use of the GPU in Lightroom.

Go to Lightroom > preferences > Performance > uncheck "use graphics processor.

Restart Lightroom and see if that helps
