Any Suggestions to stop frequent accidents Lightroom CC on Mac?

I just started using Lightroom CC on a regular basis and I notice frequent crashes (beach ball rotation of death, requiring a force quite). LR never seems to crash when I am in the midst of a mounting or, for the most part, other processes, with one notable exception, and I'll come back. In general, I finished what I do - whether publishing (in Lightroom or plugin) or scroll the library - and I suddenly noticed the spinning beachball. A few times, it seems to happen during a mobile synchronization but, in fact, must occur immediately after the synchronization is complete, because when I force quit and restart or find my mobile device, I can see that the synchronization was successful. Other than that, I have noticed no visible trend... except a boring frequency.

I am running the latest version of El Capitan (Mac OX 10.11.4) and Lightroom CC. I'm having no other accident issue and my MacBook Pro was just checked at the Genius Bar today and spent all his diagnoses.

I noticed a bunch of other reports of incidents here in the forums, but no common point. Any ideas/suggestions welcome!

Algonquin salvation,

Please disable the use of the GPU in Lightroom.

Go to Lightroom > preferences > Performance > uncheck "use graphics processor.

Restart Lightroom and see if that helps
