  Dear all,

  New to this forum thing but I have no were else to turn.

  I recently bought a new mini Ipad 4 running the latest OS 9.2, however when I have the cable link to my Mac, it is not recognized due to my Mac running an old Itunes.

  So, as any who would put you at day - however, my Mac tells me that I run later: Mac OS X 10.6.8... It does not update further. Then, my Itunes is 11 V. 4 and when I go to apple.com, it won't download any version later i.e. V12

  So now I have an ipad that I can't fully use

  Processor speed: 3.06 GHz

  Number of processors: 1

  Memory: 4 GB

  That does not mean that you cannot upgrade to a new OS X. There is a difference between an update and upgrade. Just because you read that some users have had problems with El Capitan, does mean you want.

  The minimum requirement of OS X for iTunes 12.3.2 is OS X 10.8.5 or later as shown here > Download iTunes 12.3.2

  If your Mac meets the requirements, you can upgrade for free directly to El Capitan v10.11 > OS X El Capitan - technical specifications

  El Capitan is available for free on the App Store.

  Then you can update iTunes to sync with your new iPad.

  If your Mac does not meet the requirements of El Capitan, see if your Mac can pass to v10.8 Mountain Lion > system requirements for OS X Lion mountain

• Adobe Lightroom does not update systematically

  Could someone let me know what I need to do to install without the update of lightroom problem - for some reason, there constantly does not settle but blocks about 45% of the way through. Thank you! Preference, I don't want to reinstall the whole CC - it is a long time.

  I bought a Canon 5 d Mark IV and was very happy to see the new version of LR that come out to be able to read the raw files.

  Unfortunately, the cloud Creative App does not offer an update. In fact, I realize it never did and I'm still on CC 2015 (.0!)

  Here is what I tried (many times in different orders and I'm getting really annoyed with the CC model, my colleague with the perpetual license update without any problem...)

  -Sign out of the creative cloud app

  -removed the app from creative cloud (using app provided by adobe)

  -removal of the files in the folders/library (to be found in the notes of support)

  -removed Lightroom 2015

  -.. .restarted computer duh...

  I tried everything, always, he insists on the fact that LR 2015 (.0!) is up-to-date. He drives me crazy.

  It will open the folder of the user's library.

  (3) then navigate to Application Support > Adobe > OOBE. Open the OOBE folder and Opm.db bin file.

  Once the opm.db file is trashed, relaunch the application Adobe Creative Cloud and check.

  In addition, check the updates in the Help menu of Lightroom.

  I have problems with adobe lightroom.  It is not updated when I use the application manager to download the new updates.  I tried to uninstall the application and re-download it, however the application manager will not allow that to happen because it shows that it is already installed and up to date. I think that the problem may have started when I installed lightroom using a link which you offered when creative cloud first started offering of lightroom.  This version of the program does not appear to work with the application manager.  Please let me know what I should do to fix the problem.

  Please, try to remove Adobe Extension manager and install again. The reinstallation of the extensions Manager try to day light the room.

  If it does not resolve that question please make a complete own using adobe cleaner tool and reinstall everything.

• 6 Lightroom does not open on mac

  I have been using Lightroom 6 on my Mac for a while now. All of a sudden it just stopped working. It freezes on the opening screen. Anyone have any suggestions or know why this is happening. It was an upgrade to LR3.

• Lightroom does not update Photoshop Elements catalog

  I tried to post this question before, but maybe I put it in the wrong place. In all cases:

  I have two catalogs Photoshop elements 11 (PSE). When I switched to Lightroom, I was able to update one of these catalogues with only minor hiccups. Lightroom searched my records and found the catalog by itself.

  Now, I want to upgrade the second. I need to keep separate the first catalogue. However, when I try to upgrade the second catalog I can't access it. Lightroom displays the catalog already modernized PSE but provides no way to access the second for selection.

  The user guide says that I can choose any PSE catalog for the upgrade, but appears not to be the case.

  Any suggestions?

  Never mind. I just thought of it. Lightroom will find other catalogs only if they are the last catalogue used with PSE. I just went to PSE, load of the catalog, I wanted to update and closed PSE. Then I relaunched Lightroom and do a file > catalog Upgrade PES and this time Lightroom found.

• Lightroom does not recognize files loading my AW1 Nikon raw format and load them in JPEG format. I know there are updates that would allow the camera to be recognized as first shot but I wasn't able to get out. Any help out there?

  5 CC of Lightroom does not start after 2014 update. Mac OSX 10.8.5. Tried the suggestion to sign out of cloud of Adobe and reconnect. Also restarted computer. No luck. Photoshop CC 2014 seems to have installed perfectly. Can not install the previous version either, can still find Adobe cloud. Tried to re - download from the Adobe web site, but that's where saying 'Download now'-, but nothing is downloading!

  Thank you, this was not the problem for me. Both have been set read/write. Finally, I downloaded the "demo". It installed fine and seems not to be re-registered.

  In this case try the CC Cleaner use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems (I know it says it is for CC, but it works for perpetual licenses too)

  As far as I could see, your card supports OpenGL 3.2 only that OpenGL 3.3 is necessary.
