  Hello

  I have problems with adobe lightroom.  It is not updated when I use the application manager to download the new updates.  I tried to uninstall the application and re-download it, however the application manager will not allow that to happen because it shows that it is already installed and up to date. I think that the problem may have started when I installed lightroom using a link which you offered when creative cloud first started offering of lightroom.  This version of the program does not appear to work with the application manager.  Please let me know what I should do to fix the problem.

  Please, try to remove Adobe Extension manager and install again. The reinstallation of the extensions Manager try to day light the room.

  If it does not resolve that question please make a complete own using adobe cleaner tool and reinstall everything.

  Lightroom is not updated on my Mac. This version of lightroom was installed in solo, before my creative cloud subscription.  In creative cloud I see updates for photoshop and creative cloud. Not for Lightroom. I have re instal creative cloud.

  According to Adobe, you should not reinstall Lightroom when using creative cloud.

  When checking in Lightroom, it's mentioning the update and re - direct to Adobe site. It is mentioned that it is a download. After that this creative cloud opens and remains not blocked with 'Download error' no mentioned number.

• 2015.7 CC Lightroom does not update

  I bought a Canon 5 d Mark IV and was very happy to see the new version of LR that come out to be able to read the raw files.

  Unfortunately, the cloud Creative App does not offer an update. In fact, I realize it never did and I'm still on CC 2015 (.0!)

  Here is what I tried (many times in different orders and I'm getting really annoyed with the CC model, my colleague with the perpetual license update without any problem...)

  -Sign out of the creative cloud app

  -removed the app from creative cloud (using app provided by adobe)

  -removal of the files in the folders/library (to be found in the notes of support)

  -removed Lightroom 2015

  -.. .restarted computer duh...

  I tried everything, always, he insists on the fact that LR 2015 (.0!) is up-to-date. He drives me crazy.

  It will open the folder of the user's library.

  (3) then navigate to Application Support > Adobe > OOBE. Open the OOBE folder and Opm.db bin file.

  Once the opm.db file is trashed, relaunch the application Adobe Creative Cloud and check.

  In addition, check the updates in the Help menu of Lightroom.

• Adobe Exchange does not update/installation

  I'm writing in the first forum since the problem I face is in first Pro CC 2015.2. But will also post in the Forum of modules as well. Cannot find exactly the problem in each forum.

  When I go to the window > Adobe Exchange, the window shows that I have to perform an update to get the latest improvements and bug fixes. When I click on update, it begins to download the necessary file then starts the installation...

  and that's where it crashes. It never installs. I leave almost 12 hours of the day to the next, but never completed. The file that download is only about 134MB. Now, we know all that it does not have more than 12 hours to install this amount of information. I am attaching a video that shows what is happening.

  What could be the problem here? Why this hangs like this?

  I want to be able to search and install modules directly when working in first and I do not do through the browser.

  Adobe Extension Manager and all the other Adobe programs are up to date and works very well.

  Please let me know if there is any other forum post in.

• Adobe Bridge does not update of ACR

  I thought that I have not asked last night, but found no trace of such a display.

  The title says it all. I'm under cc2015, updates on Win 7 64 bit. All Windows 7 updates are up to date.

  This seems to be a degenerative process in other words, I first noticed that it took a little time to see the update, proceeding to get more and longer so far, it's simply a no-show. Now, I have a second computer to come online so I installed cc2015 Bridge and Photoshop top and see no problem as this phenomenon. So it is here, but I'm completely baffled. My provisional conclusion is there is a hitch in communications, but as I noted earlier, it degenerates, not a plus / or (somewhat past bad etc.). I tried "Export settings to XMP" does not.

  I gave to think about a clean repair Win 7 but which was rejected by the repair process.

  It destroys rather the essence of the bridge. I only get the default appearances.

• Lightroom does not update Photoshop Elements catalog

  I tried to post this question before, but maybe I put it in the wrong place. In all cases:

  I have two catalogs Photoshop elements 11 (PSE). When I switched to Lightroom, I was able to update one of these catalogues with only minor hiccups. Lightroom searched my records and found the catalog by itself.

  Now, I want to upgrade the second. I need to keep separate the first catalogue. However, when I try to upgrade the second catalog I can't access it. Lightroom displays the catalog already modernized PSE but provides no way to access the second for selection.

  The user guide says that I can choose any PSE catalog for the upgrade, but appears not to be the case.

  Any suggestions?

  Never mind. I just thought of it. Lightroom will find other catalogs only if they are the last catalogue used with PSE. I just went to PSE, load of the catalog, I wanted to update and closed PSE. Then I relaunched Lightroom and do a file > catalog Upgrade PES and this time Lightroom found.

• Desktop application Adobe CC does not update successfully

  Whenever I try to update Office CC (after receipt of the notice of an available update), it reached almost the end of the installation, and then gives the error "Unable to install" or "admin privileges" - in the same sense. I am the administrator and use the account admin for installations.

  Only the first installation of office worked. I tried to update by downloading the application from the Adobe CC website, without success. Install updates for other applications CC very well.

  Operating system is Windows 7.

  CC desktop right click and run as admin. If the installation still fails then activate hidden admin: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-wi ndows-vista / and try to reinstall.

  I have a PS + LR + monthly subscription and 2 computers cloud, on mac, everything is correctly updated, but on windows, ps6cc but lightroom guard in v5 (a former, out of the clouds of adobe) and does not update for LR 6 CC... I tried to uninstall v5 and reinstall, but without success.

  64-bit SOFTWARE requires a 64-bit operating system

  You can't stuff 10 pounds of flour in a bag of 5 pounds... even if the bag is made of sturdy material... a 32-bit operating system is like a 5-pound bag made using material strong enough for 10 books... your CPU in 64 bit does not install

  I bought and installed Lightroom 6 (not the CC version). Lightroom runs as expected but will not update.

  When I click on help-> updates the title bar flashes once and that's it. I also tried to install as suggestet in keeping up-to-date with Lightroom

  However, Setup does not open any window and does not update to lightroom. I'm under the 64-bit version of windows 10.

  In this case try the CC Cleaner use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems (I know it says it is for CC, but it works for perpetual licenses too)

  I'm not an apple person.  I read on a few different forums that apple has changed what is called 'writing' in a recent update to apple.  You may need to find an Apple expert to show you how to make sure you are allowed to write to files or locations on your computer.

  5 CC of Lightroom does not start after 2014 update. Mac OSX 10.8.5. Tried the suggestion to sign out of cloud of Adobe and reconnect. Also restarted computer. No luck. Photoshop CC 2014 seems to have installed perfectly. Can not install the previous version either, can still find Adobe cloud. Tried to re - download from the Adobe web site, but that's where saying 'Download now'-, but nothing is downloading!

  Thank you, this was not the problem for me. Both have been set read/write. Finally, I downloaded the "demo". It installed fine and seems not to be re-registered.
