  • Why Lightrooms can't see my file NEF (RAW) from my Nikon d5500 has been added?

I have a Nikon d5500 has been added and displays a JPEG image is fine. If I change the format of my NEF (RAW) files when importing files lightroom cannot view them. It gives me a box to check the updates but I have a newer version. Worm: 5.7.1.

A few weeks ago, I used my Nikon D5300 friends and RAW files are perfectly fine.

It's a new model of camera that was published in the "hole" between the versions of Lightroom. But you can download the DNG Converter 8.8 version and convert the NEF files to DNG. I know, it's a band-aid solution. But it will work in the meantime, until the next update of Lightroom or upgrade.

  • I just upgraded to 4.4 and begun to use LR for the first time. I have a canon 70 d, but when I import SD card, I get an error message that LR does not recognize the files and a number of 241.

How do LR to import my files on my SD card because it keeps telling me that it doesn't recognize the files. I have a 70 d canine and shoot in RAW and JPEG. The videos are imported but not the photos.

Since a 70 d Canon RAW photos can be imported directly into Lightroom 4.4. You need version 5.2 or newer to do this.

As an alternative, you can download and install the FREE Adobe DNG Converter and then use it to convert your RAW to DNG, and then import the DNG in Lightroom 4.4.

  • InDesign CC | Error with file indd - "unable to open the file...". Adobe InDesign does not support the file format.

I encountered a very strange error with InDesign CC after you save a file created in CS4. I would like to attach the file but I don't know how to do this, if I can. The file is 44 KB and doesn't seem like it should be (file I saved was a great book cover). Now, as the original CS4 file has been replaced using InDesign CC, the file is corrupted and I get the error message shown below. The file is not open in another application. If somebody has got this before?

Hi, I have 4 of Lightroom, but it does not support the new objective of pd 10-30 for my Nikon 1. It is supported in LR5. Can I download the profile of this lens and install in LR4?

Wow! It worked! Thank you very much! You just saved me buying a new verion of Lightroom (which is of course why Adobe does not update these profiles automatically).

    Thank you very much!

  • I am considering buying a Nikon d5500 has been added, but one of the ssays comments that RAW NEF files are not compatible with lightroom.  Is this correct?

  • Could not open the RAW of Nikon d5500 has been added (.) NEF files) in Lightroom CC

    Hello

I recently bought Adobe Lightroom CC and installed on my MacBook Pro OSX running 10.11. However, when I try to open the FIRST (.) NEF files) from my Nikon d5500 has been added I get the following message 'the following files were not imported because they could be readable.' as can be seen in the screenshot below:

    Screen Shot 2015-10-24 at 15.23.27.png

I am also under the latest version of Lightroom CC with Camera Raw 9.2 and I read that the Nikon d5500 has been added was supported Camera Raw 9.0

    Screen Shot 2015-10-24 at 15.23.39.png

The files open fine in CC Photoshop so I don't understand why they don't open in Lightroom CC.

Someone can help or Lightroom CC not actually does support for the Nikon d5500 has been added RAW files?

Your import asked Lightroom to copy pictures to a folder that does not have write permission. Determine which folder you want to copy the photos to (it's in the Destination of the import dialog section), then go to your operating system and make sure that this exact folder Lightroom has WRITE permission.

  • Windows media player.cannot play theplayer file does not support the file type or might not support the codec used to compress the file

    Windows media player

HI. When I tried to play a movie in my windows media player.it says windows media player.cannot play theplayer file does not support the file type or does not support the codec that was used to compress the file and when I click web help it lead me to windows media player error message help.you met c00d1199 error message when you use windows media player.

    Hello

    ·         What is the format of the files that you play when you get this error?

    ·         Do you get what this error during playback of all files or a particular file?

You may encounter this error message for the following reasons:

    1. the file type is supported by the drive, but the file was compressed by using a codec that is not supported by the player.

2 - the file might have been encoded with a codec that is not supported by Windows Media Player. If this is the case, Windows Media Player cannot play the file.

You can try the steps and check if it makes a difference.

    a. to determine what codec was used with a specific file, play the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties. On the file tab, look at the sections of video codec and Audio codec.

    b. download and install Codecs by clicking on the PLAYER tab and check. To connect to the Internet and automatically download the Codecs of the reader.

  • Does anyone know if the software for Nikon d5500 has been added for using LR?

Hello.. I'm shooting with a Nikon D7000, which is a bit too much for me because I need something that is more entry-level and was interested in purchasiing a Nikon d5500 has been added and was doing research on reviews of the camera when I came across this:

Any computer is nothing without the software. Currently, all digital cameras are is another computer, but able to capture light and process that captures an image. Once captured, we all end up by using a form or another software. This is built into the camera and is transparent since we use it, as all software should be. BUT, I want specifically to use ADOBE LIGHTROOM products to be precise. This camera and its NAVE format for RAW images is a total loss, if you want to use Lightroom. Nikon and Adobe work together as Microsoft and Google... all to the loss of the customer. I would return the camera if I could and buy another brand, first check that it is compatible with Lightroom. Total waste as I have no way to use the own NAVE except with VERY LOW software from nikon. It's very sad. I tried GIMP too, and he will NOT use the NEF files without a lot of hacking with plug-ins, which are horrible to work with the program. I LOVE THE CAMERA, hates the attitude of NIKON. BEWARE, the recommendation is only if you want to use JPEG and never need to the NAVE, nothing to do with the exception are taking place on your hard drive.

I really liked the fact that the d5500 has been added was an easy to operate camera, but I do use Lightroom and Photoshop... and RAW format and want to also 24 pixels and really liked the touch screen and built in wi - fi. I shoot mostly wildlife and birds I am open to any suggestions on another camera but have to sell my D7000 first and then store in the Park same ball around 700-$800 I hope with a lens or two... any info there would be really appreciated!  Thank you very much!

  • I can't open my Nikon d5500 has been added photos in Lightroom 5.7

    Hallo

If I try to import directly from the Nikon d5500 has been added my images in Lightroom 5.7. But LR has refused to copy.

    Update is necessary?

    Kai

Not Camera Raw, Lightroom uses the plug-in. Currently, there is NO support for NEF files in Lightroom. Download Camera Raw 8.8 won't fix it. The only solution at this time is for you to use the converter DNG 8.8 and create copies DNG that you can open in Lightroom. Of course, if you use Photoshop CC 2014 then it is another story. You can use Camera Raw 8.8 with her.
