  I subscribed recently Adobe CC plan to photograph, so yesterday I tried to synchronize some photo of LR on my Mac desktop to LR Mobile on my iphone... But ran into an experience really paralyzed.

  My goal is pretty simple: I just want to have a synchronized collection so that I can put my best photos and review them on the phone. No editing required, workflow quite one-way: journal on Mac, on the phone.

  First test was with some RAW files, synchronize upstream was pretty simple and decently fast.

  Problems came on the moving part: I didn't see that previews low resolution and had to wait a few minutes for an image to load at its full resolution, most of the time seeing red alarm on the little icon of cloud at the top left of the mobile application, saying: "failed to load photo" and "Loading development Version.." right behind her.

  I thought it must have something to do with me only RAW files, given the size of them (40 MB to 120 MB for a few panos/HDR), so I decided to try to synchronize only some JPEGs of synchronization:

  To make sure that everything was going to start fresh, I read a few tips on this forum I disconnected mobile LR, cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

  On the side of mac, I removed from the synchronized collection and used the function "delete all data" Lightroom Mobile preferences.

  Then I took a few photos in JPEG, their reimportation and do a collection being the only one with the sync option active.

  The download went fairly simple again, with about 180 photos being synchronized within 20 minutes, I'd say.

  On the recently resettled mobile app, I connected again and let it sit for awhile, waiting for the pictures to download.

  It took nearly an hour to get the 180 previews on my phone with the program hung up several times and I have to quit manually after not seeing no progress for something like a few minutes.

  Once I got all the previews, I started directory telephone, to see the same pattern I've noticed with the RAW files again: "failed to load photo" and "Development Version of loading.." Finally if I let the app sit around 1-2 minutes, I eventually see the photo full resolution, and very rarely, scroll to the next/previous photo, I can see those in full resolution as well. But most of the time I see the error "failed to load photo" and must leave the application revolves around a few minutes just see a single JPEG that weighs less than 10 MB.

  I'm on a decently fast connection (20 Mbit dsl) and also run a speed test to exclude potential network problems.

  Hope you can help me with this one, because it would be shame not to enjoy this simple feature.

• iTunes syncs all my photos with iPad Pro

  Hi community, this is my first post here have just acquired a new iPad Pro 9.7 "256GB and I'm a bit of a learning curve.  At the age of 67, the old brain is not as sharp as it used to be LOL, but I'm already in love of what can do this little beauty and the screen is all simply amazing.  I encountered a small problem that makes me nuts.

  I have more 12 000 .jpg photos on my PC I want to load it on the iPad.  I connected the iPad to iTunes and synced all my music successfully, but when it comes to photos is not only working properly.  I select the photo folders I want charge, iTunes confirms there are 12 000 odd, and starts fine synchronization.  The problem is when it gets to about 4 700 synchronized, the synchronization stops just without error messages or explanation.  On the iPad in the photo app, only 3 of the 8 files I've selected appear as albums.

  I tried several times, turning sync picture then turn it in iTunes but the same result every time.

  The iPad has a limit to not disclose on how many photos you can download on it?  Useful suggestions received with gratitude, thank you.

  The iPad may have a limit and it may be that the number of photos but maybe the number of records. ITunes syncs only one file at a time, and I don't know if that's fine with sub folders in the main photo folder. Personally, I gave up Sync photos years because once you sync you cannot synchronize their OFF... you don't just delete them off the coast of the iPad. And I wanted to keep this feature to remove.

  For your needs, you can be better served looking for third party soft photos which will give you more control than the built in photos app. I'm scared, I have no name to offer but I know that there are applications out there with more flexibility than the app integrated.

  Here people can chime in with recommendations.

  I have been using iCloud photo library for a long time now to synchronize photos between devices, and.

  I'm running out of space in the drive of my Mac, and I wanted to move the library to the SD card, so I followed the steps to copy the folder and then selecting the alt-click on the Photos icon library.

  It works, all (or most) of the exhibition of photos very well.

  When I go into Preferences > iCloud he says "iCloud for Photos features are available in the library of the system", so I go to Preferences > general and click 'Use as library system' which I think is the correct step since I don't want to spend the entire hard drive and SD card is always connected (it's a Transcend JetDrive Lite 330 enough to store things I don't usually work) (such as photos, music, files ISO and VMs).   Are there additional steps to follow when moving the library AND iCloud is activated? I sure miss what is obvious, but I followed all the steps described in official documents and other internet resources, nothing helps, that is: no way to avoid the double space in iCloud so spend my iCloud storage plan.

  Yes.

  Photos will download the library once again, because it cannot be sure that the library has moved is completely identical.  It is downloaded again and check for duplicates. Once the download is complete, you use more storage than before iCloud, but it will take a lot of time.

  But it shouldn't be necessary to upgrade the storage plan. You should be able to demote him again as soon as the download is complete.

  What I do, when I want to move the library to a new location is to create a new empty library on the new drive and then turn on the library empty as the iCloud photo library. The library will be downloaded icloud in the empty library instead of download. It's faster and avoid the prompt to upgrade storage iCloud. But the drawback is that I need to name all the faces again, given that the faces does not synchronize to iCloud. And the projects will be missing.  I'm keeping a copy of the original library in the new location, so I can use old projects and can find faces in the event of doubt about a name.

  They are not cut in two; they have a maximum of 2048 pixels on a side.

• LR 2015.1.1 stuck at synchronizing 64 photos for months

  It's flat false, Lightroom sync currently does not count against your plan storage CC quota. Stuck sync Dave don't has nothing to do with his plan CC and delete all data, while it would "solve" this problem is also perhaps not necessary.

  I can sync my photos to the iPhone for LR 5.5

  However, if I chose pictures in LR to synchronize with mobile LR, they appear not on the iPhone or online.

  for each collection that you are trying to synchronize can you select the collection, and then try to rearrange the photos in this collection?  You may need to restart Lightroom is once more - although I don't think it should be necessary. Based on your diagnostic log, this might fix your stuck sync.  Let me know if this helps your situation. -Guido

  OK, I think this can be closed.
  I had to reformat the laptop, what I have noticed once some of the previous headings showing go forward in sync.
  This shows that it works, unfortunately it also proves that all my original stuff was somehow lost in the cloud. Next time I'll save in several places.

• iBooks has suddenly stopped sync between my iPhone and iPad

  iBooks has suddenly stopped syncing between my 6s iPhone and iPad Mini.  Both are running iOS 9.3, and the sync was working well for several days after I updated the two devices.  The two options of synchronization (bookmarks/notes and collections) are enabled for both devices.  And no matter on which device I add a bookmark or a note. It will not synchronize with the other device.

  I rebooted both devices and enabled the synchronization options, and then on again, but I was not able to run.

  Any ideas as to what is happening?

  I'm having the same problem. I have iBooks on my iPhone, iPad and Mac and I cannot get any of them to Favorites sync. However, purchases are synchronized.

  How are your external drives connected?  Are mounted locally or network drives?

  And what is the file system on the external hard drive?
