  DW, especially the latest version, requires a clean code and valid for many functions to work correctly. Chances are, there are a few code errors in your HTML view Design of the data warehouse can not handle, but browsers and the Live View can.

  Run the validator at http://validator.w3.org/nu for a list of errors and correct all found your page.

  If you have a clean and valid code, but the problem persists, post a link to your current page, or all of the code and css here in the forum (don't use e-mail, it will not come through) so we can take a look at what's going on.

• Resize the width of the mode live view for resets overview sensitive to the top of the page

  Almost every time I move the scrubber in live view to verify sensitive breakpoints are correct, it scrolls by me to the top of the page.

  Unfortunately, it's a problem for the sites of scrolling a page, as the question that I am trying to fix is a path down a long page, and the only way to see the responsiveness in action is to zoom stupidly far. Y at - it an option to enable the circumvention of this off, or reasonable?

  MrJW gave you a good work around in Live View mode.  But honestly, when I work with the reagents long pages, I saw in the browsers and keep them open while I do a few code tweaks.  Then refresh browser (F5 or Ctrl + R) to check my progress.  I almost never work without one or several browsers open at all times.

  Right click > inspect element is another feature of good browser to use.

  If you have Firefox with the Web Developer Toolbar extension, you can use Resize > sensitive view layouts to see the appearance of your page (s) on multiple devices.  This is a handy feature.

  In addition, you can edit the CSS in real-time to see how it effects your work and lots of other good things.

  I highly recommend the FF Web Developer Toolbar.  It's free. I use mine constantly.

• Display of the Live view for Nex - C3

  ... my nex - c3 seems to be missing LIVE VIEW DISPLAY, setting on / off... I could really use this function for studio shooting... is a way or work around to get this feature? Thanks, Ronnie_B

  It is true that the NEX - C3 does not view display life setting. To work around the problem, you can set the mode of the camera shoot backwards, or S to frame the subject. Once this is done, you can set the shooting in M mode and take the picture.

• Resources shared mode live view

  I use CS6/Windows.

  I have all the static resources (CSS, JS, etc) in a shared network called [WHICH] directory / res.

  I have my site HTML locally in the Sites Directory. All URLS of static resources begin as /res.

  I have a local HTTP server. He points to my local site directory, but /res is redirected to the shared network directory.

  This configuration works very well for the view browser and live view. But in edit mode, it cannot find the static resources that makes editing a little bit of a brake. I tried to put a link in the site called res directory, pointing to the shared network directory, but that did not work. Is there a way I can handle this without physically copying the files locally shared network?

  To answer my own question, after only a couple of hours to play around, I got this:

  • created res site with a test pointing to the shared network directory server
  • Use the green arrow (download the test server files) from time to time to keep synchronized

  Is not ideal, physically copied the files locally shared network, but at least this copy can be done from Dreamweaver in a relatively painless manner.

• Live view in 2014 CC DW is ridiculously slow

  Thanks for reading - after having upgraded to CC 2014.1.1 that I find Live View Mode of functioning is ridiculously slow.

  I use an i7 8 GB computer laptop.

  The file is a .asp with about 6 000 lines and a lot of inline javascript.

  Clicking on between the code and the hand some things in live view for several seconds. By selecting a menu option there is a terrible delay before any intervention.

  Did anyone else encounter this problem or is there knowledge affecting change, etc. that could fix this problem?

  Your document is large enough and must be treated by Dreamweaver to each record. It may be an idea to outsource all the CSS and JS. I use Prepros to compile my LESS and JS files. I also use the live PrePros preview which is instant.

• DW CS4 - Design/Live view not available with PHP

  I work with documents PHP but Live View and Design view are grey and not available with PHP documants open. I use MAMP and have set up local news and the test in the site server in place dialogue several times myself and with the help of some research on the web without any difference. Any thoughts on what may be things to check would be greatly appreciated.

  Have you changed your preferences to open the PHP pages in Code view?

  In the category of Types of files/editors preferences, if you add .php to the list of file name extensions in "Open in code view", it disables the Design view and Live View for that file type.

• Attach the Nikon d7000 and live view

  I use LR cc running on an iMac with El Capitan.  Can I attach my Nikon d7000 to LR without problem but I am not able to switch to mode live view when the camera is attached. Appreciate any suggestions.

  Using a Canon 70 d, I can attach reliably.  But is there a switch/change what I should do in LR or camera order to use mode live view?  I only managed to do work once, think it's a stroke of luck.

  Hi I do not know if it was a good idea but I've just updated to 2015 of Dreamweaver. DW 2014.1.1 display live would make modules in British Colombia, but not in 2015.

  I noticed that the BC extension is no longer supported for 2014.1.1 upward so I'm sure this has something to do with it.

  Y at - there a trick to getting BC back on DW 2015 live mode view, or do I have to start learning the liquid for it to work better with DW now?

  I was wondering if I should do something that I'm not aware, or if this is normal?

  I have a few pages that I wrote with PHP codes and now that I'm ready to apply the style to the pages I can't seem to be able to see the live view of my pages.

  In order to access the site I am building you must first sign in (I did it in the browser but how can I log-in within the environment of Dreamweaver and able to see the result of my style in mode live view?)

  Why must you connect?  For development, I would disable the logon scripts session until you are ready to publish to the server.

  I scoured the web trying to figure why I am unable to change the thing in Live view with Dreamweaver CC. When I click on the button Live while properties and Insert etc. is disabled. All the tutorials I've seen for Dreamweaver CC everyone is adding/subtracting elements in Live View mode, but for me it is all grayed out and is not possible. I looked for options enable editing mode live view, but I can't find anywhere in dreamweaver. Help, please!

  Live View edition is available in CC 20141 (release of October).

  If you have an earlier version, 2014 CC or CC 13, you will not have this option.

• DW CS5 - police displayed in the mode display/Live Design is spec'd like us. The police when Live View is turned off is radically different. Why?

  Subject line says it all. In nine pages, the police specify us for the page appears correctly, regardless of whether the Live View is active or inactive. But we have an existing site, where this is not the case - the fonts non - Live View is very different from what we spec'd (and what we see) when Live View is on...   Non-Live View = design mode or in preview in browsers.

  Use Firefox or Chrome to listen to samples.  Right click > inspect element to see what CSS styles are to make your text.

  I have a div ID called "portfolio" I see in Design view but not mode live view or on a browser. It's a small pink square and I want that round square also.

  I ran through validator. He picked up a few things in the style.css which I changed and the boilerplate.css I did not. I thought auto DW creates code for mat because I don't fit this code myself.

  She also rejected a lot of code in webkit, but this seems to be the standard webkit code that works elsewhere on the page.

  BTW: has when is this hand brutal coding pay off in money and less heartache when Wordpress air cleaner and is easier to use? I feel that I know only HTML or CSS in terms of translating the vision to reality and with browser features everything after months and months of online courses. How long are the pros home until they reach a point of the watershed?
