I have a wedding to shoot in a few weeks and am terrified that I won't be able to download one of my photos.  I'm ready to tear my hair as before the update of Windows (not sure who had nothing to do with anything, maybe a coincidence), everything seemed to work (on my old computer) very well.  Had not really begun to do anything on my new up to our days, when the old one was.  I'm so confused at this minute I don't know what to do or who to ask.  FOR INFO.  I have a Canon 5 d and 5 d Mark IV.  I know that, for some time, the Mark IV would not import into Lightroom.  I had no problems with the 5 d, but now I am.  I import to an external hard drive to a CF card reader, traditionally.  Now, NOTHING works properly, and I am not technically savvy enough to understand or understand have the solutions I've read online.  I'm afraid to try the download of Mark IV, too.  I need HELP!

  First of all, make sure you are updated to 2015.7, which is required for the 5 d Mark IV.

• Lightroom is not more important to Star Ratings.

  We run 5.7 Lightroom on five computers in our office. Recently one of the instances of the program ceased to import the coast star entirely. I uninstalled on this machine and reinstalled Lightroom and was confused to see that all our imports and settings to before uninstalling were still there. I was expecting that a reinstall would erase the library and settings, but it didn't happen. This relocation did nothing of LR are missing and ratings. Our import dialog box is set to import embedded metadata sidecar, and so is not the issue.

  To sum up our workflow: we RAW format, rate of star in a program called FastPictureViewer, import for the RL, make changes and export JPEG files. This workflow is the same on all machines that we use, and parameters are consistent between machines. We tested an import using a folder of images which is starred on another machine, and the sides offers childless.

• 5.6 Lightroom suddenly not more mobile synchronization

  I use LR 5.6 on Mac OS x 10.10 and have about 500 photos synced on my CC account purchased online.

  Now that LR has stopped new photos, keep saying "Sync photos XX", synchronization number does not change and there is no network activity. Delete and add photos to the synchronized collections does not help.

  I can't see new collections appear online or on mobile devices, even empty ones.

  What can I check?

  Just found all reset REMOVE ALL content online via the preferences panel and sync back running again, but I lost all my content online, as well as the list of synchronized... collection so I hope it was a temporary problem and I will not have to re - sync all soon, or I can not trust this for sensitive and big workflows...

  Any suggestions on why this sync error happened?

  I have uninstalled all versions of LR and tried to download and reinstall LR 6, but it opens 2015CC? When you click on the exe file, it always opens 2015CC? What should I do to open the regular LR6 (who I want to spend at 6.4)
