  After setting the filter based on another analysis (query sub report) save the report and place them in the dashboard in the same way as the other reports.

  create new section in the main report and make the report in section properties and query sub under type CSS Display: None. so that this report does not appear in the dashboard, but what ever the values you select in the guest of will reflected in the request from sub report reflected in the main report.

  Note: Do not forget to protect the sub query report filter.

  Hello everyone, my name is John and I am asking for help with the following.
  I am new to Apex, Oracle, PL/SQL, and SQL (as you can tell from my query below).
  I have the basics of the Apex (to present reports, forms etc.).
  I created this query on a view in SQL Developer, where it is asked for the start and end dates filter the report. which is what I want it to and returns the results I want.
  Now, I want to create a report in the Apex where it asks him between the dates as it does in the request sent, when it's done I want to spend bipublisher to print pdf report.
  
  
  
  I run this query as a report of totals already (without the line with WHERE clause query asking course.) in an apex application, gross is it.
  
  I have it as interactive reports and can be filtered in this way dates of couse, but I want to learn how to create the report/query of type of user input in the Apex.

  I am pleased that the information has helped.

  About the pop up, you should try to avoid them if possible. You should really try to avoid if possible because most browsers have pop-up blockers. (I can ramble on about this topic for hours, but I'll leave it as one).

  So how to avoid pop-ups in this situation? APEX can return conditionally regions. If you have a region "indicates the parameter" which has your in/thru date. which is always is evidence. Then put a condition on the report so that he sees only when the from and through date are entered (I think that I put an example above).

  I would like to know how this happens.

• Top of page justify/format vertical on a region of SQL query report

  I have a simple region report, type = SQL query.  One of the selected columns is an address in the format which the syntax is shown below:

  It works very well, but he's justifying the vertical center, as is the title of the column.  I need both the selected value and the title of the column to be justified high vertical.  All the other selected columns are the only line, but it is the only multiline select.

  Report Designer will automatically join tables only if you have defined a relationship between them in your database.

  In Report Designer, you can easily create a join by dragging a field from one table to the related field in the other table. It couldn't be simpler.

  Is it possible to increase the maximum number of records returned by in RDS Query Viewer of CFB2?  50 is pretty stuffy, whereas I usually run that test queries return more than 10,000 records.

  Chandra, I'm afraid that I don't know what you just said.

  URL parameters, as far as I know, are not encrypted even in an HTTPS Exchange, because they are considered as part of the URL, only not part of the message.  The body of the message (i.e. POST), on the other hand, it's protected.

  I suggest that you send the query parameters in JSON format, just as you could do it with AJAX.  It is a well designed and well understood Protocol with good support on the client and server side.  (XML is also the same.)  This will put the exchange of information in the body of the message (encrypted), and it also will allow you to send and receive information structured structs and lists and tables and so - on.

  You still need to be aware of the size of the messages, but not nearly as much with the URL string.

  Whenever you feel that you could be "pushing a limit", it is time to think that "there must be a better way to do it."

  Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing this problem? I use the generic report layout, with different types of output. I'M editting the query and set the binding variable before test report (otherwise, the query is not executed).

  In fact the report would go - unlike other products of Oracle who complain about a missing binding variable, Apex is not complaining but interprets as a null value. So if you hurt typed the name of your variable, you are never alerted to it.

  Check the Session window to make sure that it is a value - the most common questions are that you named the wrong variable in the query or your item has no value in session state again.

  I have a custom report based on an sql query (method-sql * more) I need to convert this report in XML. I followed these steps
  

  I have generated the xml file by opening this request in the rdf generator (file > > generate > > xml)
  I open this XML file in word and do the rest of the treatment
  Copy the original simultaneous program (copy to option in set the window)
  changed the short name and the type of output as XML (the same method and executable retention)
  Add newly build it program at thr group asks even the original program in conc

  now, if I run this program it will show a warning when I checked the journal (Journal of the conc program manager administer) it displays following error

  first question - did you just change the output format of your concurrent request (with the executable, type SQL * more) in XML format and add a template to it?

  If this is the case, I'm not surprised, you get an error. You must ensure that you generate actual XML output. If you run the query and then click on the "Diagnostics" button, you will see a button saying 'display XML '. Click on this to see what you get. If you get an error, then it is not correct XML.

  This is the case, you have several options:

  1. create a data model and use it to create the XML file
  2 use the XML features in your query to generate XML (never tried so cannot guarantee this will work)
  3. use file rdf reports to generate the XML file
  4 generate the XML of PL/SQL file

  I suggest that you try option 2 first of all it should be pretty fast & easy to test, then use option 1 as the best solution if it does not work.

  I want to be able to insert a line break in the column heading so that it wraps to two lines. I tried this:

  For the pl/sql function, write something like
