Hello experts,

I use Adobe Forms in SAP.

My question is, is there a any restriction for additem keyword in JavaScript?

I mean, even if I use the keyword additem to add the name and value of a drop-down list, it adds up to 10000 files only.

Please sugest

A drop-down list is the bad INTERFACE design where an element can contain more than 100 entries. It is very good in tests, but absolutely unacceptable if the form must be used by a person busy doing their work. The choice of Acrobat forms are limited, but consider a list box. Despite this, there may be limits imposed by the system or the implementation.

Better would be

(a) stop filling after awhile the list and add an entry saying several elements not shown, running report or use better filter

(b) be available for all filtering of course lists

• Why the back button isn't a drop-down list to go back multiple levels in Firefox 4? Y at - it an option to reactivate the which?

Before that I've upgraded to Firefox 4, the back button (as it is in all other browsers under the Sun,) had a drop-down list so you could spend a layer of back up and fall back on several levels. This is particularly important when there is a site you redirecting and you cannot go back only to back single click. However, FF4 is not-at least not by default - and I do not see anywhere in the options to add. Is he hiding somewhere I didn't, or that has been deleted?

You need to click on and hold the back button or do a right click to access the menu drop down.

• How to fill out a drop-down list on the selection of items in another drop-down list using adf 12.1.3

Hello

I have a page that has the load drop-down lists and a "submit" button. The first drop down menu got filled using query based VO (IE read only VO) for LOV. The requirement is as below

-on the selection of an element any in the first drop-down list, the user must fill the second dropdown.

-Once the second dropdown is completed, the user can select element in the second drop-down list.

-capture the second drop down menu items value selected in the method of action of the click on the submit button.

Any help in this scenario will be useful.

Sameh salvation,

Thanks for the reply. Your code

1. DCIteratorBinding iter is BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry () .get ("iteratorNameInPageDef") (DCIteratorBinding);.
2. Object secondDropdownValue = iter.getCurrentRow () .getAttribute ("AttributeName"); has been really helpful to get the selected value.

Thank you very much.

• Task due date established by default depends on the Type drop-down list

Hi all, I would like to implement the task of today + 2 days due date IF the drop-down list type is a known value AND if the deadline is today.

I have thin, this is the real configuration: IIf (IIf ([< Type >] = "To Do", 1, 0) = 1 AND [< DueDate >] = today(), [< DueDate >] + 2 [< DueDate >])
But it does not work, why? :(

The default value 'post' is taken in, no syntax errors.

Hello

I don't think that default post won't work here. You can use the workflow to update expiration date field if the type is known.
Create a workflow wiith the following criteria
Registration type: activity
Active: Y
Triggering event: when the new record
Workflow rule condition: [] = "To Do" AND [] = today()

Workflow actions
Action1
Wait
Active: Y
Reassess the rule Conditions after waiting: Y
Duration: 0 minutes
Action2
Update field after the Action of waiting
Active: Y
Field name: Due Date
Value: Today () + 2
Replace the existing values: Y

It may be useful

Thank you & best regards

• Add/Remove the same exact point from a drop down list

Hello!

I need power remove/hide and/add/view THE SAME POINT, or that it doesn't look like the same question, please see the example of what I m doing:

When you open the document:

01.png

If you click 'Yes' to the first radio 4 value is added

02.png

If you click 'Yes' in the second radio, value 5 is added

03.png

If you click 'no' on the first radio, you remove the value 4 BECAUSE you remove the element #3

04.png

If you click on 'no' on the second radio, you delete nothing 4 BECAUSE you try to delete the point #4

05.png

And then you get this weird combination

06.png

This is the code on the first Radio

form1.#subform[0].value_4::click - (JavaScript, client)

if (this.rawValue == "1") {
DropDownList1.addItem("value 4");
}else {
DropDownList1.deleteItem(3);
}

This is the code on the second radio

form1.#subform[0].value_5::click - (JavaScript, client)

if
(this.rawValue == "1") {
DropDownList1.addItem("value 5");
}else {
DropDownList1.deleteItem(4);
}

Anyone know how to remove a specific item of a dropdrown? or may not remove, hide only if this is possible... I tried to change specific values for Add/Remove always from the same point, but it did not work.

Thank you!

Ago, I find it odd that there is no native method xfa for the index of an item in the menu drop-down. Not documented at least (as I know).

What you can do however, is create your own method!

Here, in the initialize event of your highest subform you create a method that exends class object (which includes all XFA objects too), like native JavaScript:

//@para String value of the item in the drop down
//@return Boolean - true if item was deleted, false if not and null object if not found in the list

Object.prototype.deleteItemValue=function(sVal){
for (var a=0;a

You can remove any item from your drop by modying your code:

if (this.rawValue == "1") {
DropDownList1.addItem("value 4");
}
else {
DropDownList1.deleteItemValue("value 4");
}

• Collect the value of edittext box & menu drop-down list to manipulate the project

I built a simple GUI with a dropdown Panel and three boxes of edittext. I know not how to retrieve the values of each object to pass to the ASP (layers of text, project items). I'm still confussed on how to the onClick, onChange, onDeactivate, etc. methods work with functions... Hello, if your range variables are in the scope of your function (which is the case here) you need not pass them as arguments to your function.

Then you can simply activate what wrote you in a function already and call on events, something like this:

doIt() function

{

var

targetWidth, numFolderItems, lineValue, ProjectName

modifiedLayers = new Array(),

numItems = app.project.items.length; collect the number of project items

teamLogosFolderMov = locateProjItems (FolderItem, "teamLogosMov"), //Use CompItem for comps

teamLogosFolderRaster = locateProjItems (FolderItem, "teamLogosRaster"), //Use CompItem for comps

teamLogosFolderVector = locateProjItems (FolderItem, "teamLogosVector"), //Use CompItem for comps

model,

I, c;

If (textBox.line03.text! = ' ': textBox.line03.text! = defaultText03) lineValue = textBox.line01.text + textBox.line02.text + "\r\n" + "\r\n", textBox.line03.text

ElseIf (textBox.line02.text! = ' ': textBox.line02.text! = defaultText03) lineValue = textBox.line01.text + "\r\n" + textBox.line02.text

else lineValue = textBox.line01.text;

for (c = 1; c<= numitems;="" c++)="" if="" (="" (comp="app.project.item(c))" instanceof="">

{

for (i = 1; i<= comp.numlayers;="" i++)="">

{

case 'textLines_GD ':

targetWidth = 1720;

setTextLayer_caseSensitive (comp.layer (i), lineValue);

projectName = lineValue;

If (scaleTextLayer (COMP. Layer (i), comp.layer (i).sourceRectAtTime(1,_true).width, targetWidth)) modifiedLayers.push (comp.layer (i));

break;

case 'teamLogo_GD ':

numFolderItems = teamLogosFolderMov.numItems; Get the number of items in the folder teamLogos

swapTeamLogo (numFolderItems, teamLogosFolderMov, teamTri, comp.layer (i));

break;

default:;

};

};

};

myPanel.grp.buttonGroup.renderButton.onClick = needs;

If instead you want to write a function that is independent from the UI variables, IE not dependent on variables of string, then you must pass these values as arguments:

function must (text01 text02 text03, defaultText01, defaultText02, defaultText03)

{

same start

get lineValue of arguments

lineValue = text01; If (text02! = "" |) Text02! = defaultText02) {lineValue += "\r\n" + text02;}  If (text03! = "" |) Text03! = defaultText03) lineValue += "\r\n" + text03 ;} ;

same end

};

myPanel.grp.buttonGroup.renderButton.onClick = function() {has (textBox.line01.text, textBox.line02.text, textBox.line03.text, defaultText01, defaultText02, defaultText03) ;};

Note: I changed my computer var = app.project.items [c]; (does not work) to comp = app.project.item (c); and if (textBox.line02.text! = ' ' | textBox.line02.text! = defaultText03) (risky) if (textBox.line02.text! = ' ': textBox.line02.text! = defaultText03).

• Registration type of best practices for updating the mapping of cascading for account drop-down list

1. most bearing the name of choice in parent list values and related lookup has been changed in the main list of the external application, so the same should be updated in CRMOD.

2 to update the value of the list of choices, do we need to DISABLE the existing value and CREATE a new list of selection.

3. are there best practices to avoid the manual pick list Cascading draw for the record type account? because we have about 500 values in list dropdown to map with parent and related list of choice.

Thank you!

Mahesh, I recommend disabling the existing values and create new ones. This means that the remap manually cascading dropdown lists.

• Print from the drop-down list control

I have a drop down box with a default value of empty / none.

If the user has not changed the default, I'd like to drop-down list excluded from printing on.

Also, as you can see, the box is initially highlighted with a light shade of gray, unless the user changes the value.

However, the gray shading covers the entire area, including the legend.

Is it possible to exclude the legend of shading?

Finally, I wonder if it is possible to limit shading, such that it does not cover beyond the arrow to drop down in the horizontal direction.

The actual form, drop-down lists will be directly adjacent, and I'd rather than highlighting overlap to the adjacent area.

Thank you

Hello

The pre-press and postPrint are the way to go, I just changed "" with a null value. Also you could apply the shading of the object / field, custom appearance tab.

Enter the event access to the user interface of the object and change the shade in white:

VNAME var = this.somExpression; Gets the whole expression of SOM of the object...
var fieldObj = xfa.resolveNode (vName);

fld var = fieldObj.ui.resolveNode ("#choiceList"); See the UI below codes
FLD. Border.Fill.Color.Value = "255,255,255";

Field date = #dateTimeEdit
DropDown = #choiceList
CheckBox = #checkButton

A script similar to the output it changes in light gray. You can change the RGB values.

Finally, I don't think you need the initialization scripts or change.

• Drop-down list retains the sign misspelled names. How to modify this list?

From time to time when you connect to a Web site, I type my user name. This is an example that I could type the first letter of a username and when the drop-down list appears, I accidentally miss the mark and click on new in the box. After realizing immediately what I did, I click on the input box again to highlight the letter I typed and start again, but I did so too quickly and the computer reads it as a double click. The dropdown now has recorded the entrance of the one letter that has been accidentally entered. Because of this and other mistakes, over time I find myself with a dropdown menu with several incorrect user names and a correct. How can I change this list to remove the mistypes and keep only the good ones, or clear the list completely and start again?

Follow these steps to delete the recorded data (form) in a drop-down list:

1. Click on the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
2. Select an entry in the drop-down list
3. Press the DELETE key (on a Mac: shift + delete) to remove it.
• update of a drop-down list of QML from C++ fails the first time

Hey gang,

I have a function in my C++ class that seeks a couple of drop downs by ObjectName and their Options adds.

the feature works well - except that when the application first starts, the function cannot find the menu drop-down, then the drop-down list is empty. At various times during the execution of the application, it refreshes the drop-down list and those all great works. It is only on the first attempt when the application first starts it fails.

Here's the function:

void WorkManager::updateDropDown() {
//  qWarning() << "WorkManager::updateDropDown(), running..";
/*
* this function updates the two drop down lists in the UI
* it updates them dynamically with the taskName() ('label') of the job.
* NOTE: for some reason, this doesn't find the dropdown's by name on first start. however subsequent runs work fine.
*/
int i = 0;
QList  myObjects = m_model->toListOfObjects();
DropDown * dpList = bb::cascades::Application::instance()->scene()->findChild("scriptListDropDown");
DropDown * logDpList = bb::cascades::Application::instance()->scene()->findChild("logDropDown");
if (dpList != 0 && logDpList !=0 ) {
dpList->removeAll();
logDpList->removeAll();
for (i = 0; i < myObjects.size(); i++) {
Task * myTask = static_cast (myObjects[i]);
myTask->setParent(this);
dpList->add(Option::create().text(myTask->taskLabel()).value(myTask->command()));
logDpList->add(Option::create().text(myTask->taskLabel()).value(myTask->taskName() + ".log"));
}
} else  {
//      qWarning() << "WorkManager::updateDropDown(), ---> dpList was 0, try again";
}
}

so when the application starts, I get this message of qWarning() and dpList (and logDpList) are both 0.

I tried the dissemination of calls to this function in various places at the same time the C++ class, so in onCreationCompleted() different signals in the QML IU - as for the homepage, TabbedPane, drop-down menus.

No matter where and when I call, I can't get the drop-down list to provide information on the first try.

is there a way to find a way to make this work? It's (quite) a little annoying. I wish that the onCreationCompleted() for the drop-down list would work, but alas, no joy.

Help?

Thank you!

J

Quite simply, if the object is not in the scene tree, you will get a result of findChild. It has not been created or added to the scene.

You say that you did above in onCreationCompleted of a drop-down list, but this would only guarantee that one of your drop-down menus has been created and your conditional statement requires that both happening simultaneously be non-null. You must run the above, when the two objects are created.

It seems that you can split the above function to manage separately, the dpList and logDpList after the onCreationCompleted of signals for each drop-down list.

Note: If you run findChild on the user interface of your entire application, your application has a serious design flaw.

• What plan? Payment in the drop-down list contains items named the same.

Hello.

I run a business and I want to upgrade 1 license Adobe Muse to 1 CC of Adobe License (without Adobe Stock). Note that I do not need a solution 'team', I only need 1 person to be able to use the software. Obviously that the license allows me to use the software commercially.

The web interface is in my mother tongue, but I'll translate the options menu as accurate as possible.

So, if I'm going:

"Plans and products"-> as 'Plans' are my license of Muse and below it a 'Manage Plan', I click on the button-> "change the regime".

I am taken to a "change of-your-plan interface. Inside, I see Creative Cloud-subscription (per year), which is the license that I want. Now, here's the thing. There is a drop-down list that has 4 elements:

• Annual plan with monthly payment. (Costs X.)
• Annual plan with monthly payment. (Costs roughty 2 * X.)
• Annual plan with payment in advance.
• Annual plan with payment in advance.

What is the difference between the first and the second element?

The two let me use the software commercially?

What will happen on the site that I hosted on Adobe Business Catalyst by Muse when I change my package?

Thank you in advance.

Any subscription you pay for can be used commercially.

I also have a lot of trouble that you understand the differences in prices like you showed. There is no way to determine what the differences are in two plans monthly, is - it possible one is be produced a single plan and the other being the complete plan?

In fact I think that it is the default when you apply lov on certain attribute and then filter works in this way, or you enter the string full or just the value of the id

• Change the content of the drop-down list

Hello

Is it possible to change the content of a drop-down list after its done?

I have a dialog box, and based on user input, the drop-down list should change

I saw the opportunity to add to a drop-down list, but I did see the possibility of changing the entire list

Is this possible?

Thank you

Davey

#targetengine test
var w = new Window ('palette'),
d1 = w.add('dropdownlist', undefined, [1,2,3,4,5]),
b1 = w.add('button', undefined, "Slow Refresh"),
b2 = w.add('button', undefined, "Fast Refresh"),
myNewItems = [6,7,8,9,10];

b2.onClick = function () {refreshList (myNewItems)};
b2.onClick = function () {refreshList2 (myNewItems)};
d1.onChange = function () {alert(d1.selection)};
function refreshList (newItems) {
var l = d1.items.length,
c;
while (l--) d1.remove(d1.children[l]);
l = newItems.length, c;
for (c = 0; c < l; c++) d1.add('item', newItems[c]);
}

function refreshList2 (newItems) {
tempDropdownlist = w.add('dropdownlist', d1.bounds, newItems);
tempDropdownlist.onChange = d1.onChange; // etc.
w.remove (d1);
d1 = tempDropdownlist;
}
w.show();

• show/hide fields based on the drop-down list of choices

I have a field from the drop-down list with three choices. Based on the selection, I need a specific text form field to appear and the others to stay hidden. (Or if it makes the code cleaner, the resulting field could be a drop-down list, too, with the selected choice.) I don't know Java well enough to extrapolate the code from the examples online and it fit my forms. I can provide an example of form. Thanks in advance for your help.

There are ways to run this. the easiest for you would be to add this script to the event (calculation of the Properties tab) to calculate the field that must be hidden. Take notes, all "/ /" is some tips for you to understand the code. You will need to put this script in all the areas you want to replicate the behavior, change the value depending on what you want to accomplish. the word 'event' means myself to make you understand.

If (this.getField("dropdown").value == 'put value here') {//replace "drop down" with the name of the drops}

Event.Target.Display = display.visible;

}

else {}

Event.Target.Display = display.hidden;

}

This works if you have a small amount of fields. If you manage to have a large number of similar fields, let me know because there are other, faster ways.
