limitations of the web viewer (unanswered question - 1 week later... come on adobe)

with reference to this article:

"That an iframe the instance of the library is supported (you must have a web browser open on your page)."

I try to publish a number of guides as an iframe on Surf Life site, one which is here:

http://www.surfinglife.com.au/guides/travel-Bible-2014

the next guide will be the wetsuit guide 2014, it is expected that he would have a different URL, for example: http://www.surfinglife.com.au/guides/wetsuit-Bible-2014

the above limitation would restrict me to be able to present it on this separate URL?

Thank you

C

Hi C,

I apologize for the delay. The restriction does not only having more than one iFrame which contentviewer.adobe.com of frames on the same page. Given that your situation is hosting an iFrame on two different pages, this is supported. I hope this helps.

Thank you

Christine

  • All items not protected from the Web Viewer

    Hello together,

    We use the Web Viewer for marketing stuff and send us an E-Mail with the link to the articles very often. The problem is: there are about 15 unprotected articles, only a few are displayed in the browser. Once the message appears: "Please buy this question!" - Although the article is not protected. Is it possible to display all items not covered in the Web Viewer?

    Thank you

    You can set a lower limit of Paywall threshold in your account application in respect of the Administration of the accounts. You can increase the Paywall threshold to allow all items not covered in the web viewer.

    "I want to make the request and build BB JRE 4.7.

    No you don't really have.

    And you shouldn't, because:

    (a) as much as I know there is no performer 4.7 devices that cannot be upgraded to 5.0

    (b) the proportion of 4.7 devices autour is very small, so it is a small market

    (c) there is a lot of work

    (d) the results are not as good

    (e) a person on this forum will be able to help you.

    RIM do not support the OS 4.7 for WebView, so if nothing else has convinced you, it must give the impression that you should not try to develop for OS 4.7.

    Edit:

    Really should have said that it is just my opinion...

  • Why are they the Web viewer and device sign in different boxes?

    We create an AEM application that uses right V2. I just noticed that the sign in the dialog box for the Web Viewer looks like this:

    Browser.png

    But the sign in for iOS devices dialog box looks like this:

    Device.jpg

    Ask yourself why they are different? Differences that matter to us:

    1. the screen of the Tablet says "Username" but Viewer says Web 'Email address' (we prefer email address)

    2. the screen of the Tablet is not a link "create an account", but the Web viewer don't. This is important. We need this.

    Is it possible to make these screens match? Why are they different?

    Thank you.

    Keith, the 'create an account' link on iOS is in the 'Account' dialog box, under the button "connect". iOS is the only application that has a dialog account, because iOS has a few other configuration options to manage the different store not present scenarios on other platforms. Do you not observe it at this place?

    About the chain, the difference is involuntary. User name is the more generic term and one we use throughout all the viewers of the mobile device. We chose the username because some authentication providers do not require an email address, so he labelling 'e-mail address' may be incorrect.

  • navto://relative/parent does not work in the Web Viewer

    Hello

    We have recently added in one of our app a menu navigation that points to a different section of a publication. We have also added the option to revert to the parent with the navto://relative/parent link collection.

    It works very well on tablets and mobile phones, but it doesn't seem to work in the Web Viewer version.

    Here is an example. The navigation menu is in the upper right corner, and the link to exit the publication is called "Quitter" (the last choice in the menu).

    https://app.tcmedianouvelles.ca/webviewer.HTML#project/e33d9e2b-e00b-4c5d-8348-de8a1df3174 9/view/WSY20160611-8dv5gUoLL / has...

    Is this a bug or this type of link is not yet supported in the Web Viewer?

    Thank you

    The navto://relative/parent format is not supported in web viewer. A tester told me that there is an additional complexity in the determination of the parent in the viewer web because Viewer users don't always access the app of the top-level collection.

  • Major problems with multiple items of page on the web viewer since the last update

    In the last days, we had problems with all our multiple page items that are newly updated or added on the web viewer.

    Scrolling of pages just to repeat content again and again and true articles page see first pages content overlaid on all subsequent pages. It seems that something important broke in the way that the dps push articles to the webviewer, as is happening through fact sheets and articles. This means that we cannot publish anything until it's resolved.

    Someone knows something similar? Any suggestions?

  • Adobe Reader shows not pdf content, while the web viewer works.

    Adobe Reader does not show the content of (a lot of my) in PDF format, while the web viewer (chrome) doesn't work (OSX 10.9.5, Adobe Reader 11.0.12).
    The pdf files have photo in them so maybe that is why.

    Open the drive and go in Edition > Preferences > Page Display > content and the information on the Page and make sure 'See the large images' are selected.

  • Integrate the Web viewer content into your web page

    Integrate the Web viewer content in your web page for Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition? Is this possible?

    No, you need a company DPS or Professional Edition for this.

  • PDF-batteries on Android and the web viewer?

    What Android viewer's support PDF-batteries? When he arrives, the ipad-folios can be recycled on the iphone-slips on android phones and Android tabs.

    And what about the Web viewer? We are using the sharing feature, but the lack of pdf support will force us to use png instead of pdf.

    No matter what chanche to solve this soon?

    Android for PDF support is on the roadmap, but it won't happen anytime soon.

    For the Web Viewer of PDF support, the plan is to download PDF articles as JPG/PNG Web Viewer items automatically, if all goes well in the version v22 6-8 weeks.

  • Exam question-value of the point and unanswered questions about the VCP4 exam?

    Hello

    I have a few questions about the scoring to secure Channel 4 review system:

    1. All the questions on the exam are weighted the same?

    2. Is there a penalty for unanswered questions?  In other words, is it better to not answer a question, if you are sure that you do not know the answer, or take a guess if it comes down to it?

    Thank you very much

    Bryan

    Not responding not to an element, it is the same thing that answer wrongly as far as scoring is concerned, so it makes sense to guess rather than leave the question unanswered.

    With respect to the weighting, all elements have the same weight in the VCP exam, but some items do not count against the overall score.  These "dosed" items continually change and are chosen at random.  We insert elements assayed to determine the validity of the element until it became a party has received from the real exam.  If however, you want to treat each item with an equal amount of importance.

  • Web Viewer or questions!

    I read the instructions from Adobe for creating a compatible application because I want some apps have versions web viewer.

    Am I right in assuming that in the "URL of Publication" box in the App Builder, I put a web page address to empty?

    I've seen other applications use this feature and the URL need me always starts by ' http://ContentViewer.Adobe.com ...'

    Is this a feature of that each user DPS can take advantage, or is it only Enterprise?

    Thank you

    The Publication URL must be a real site that provides information about your application. If users share an article you set left as protégé, clicking on the shared link displays this page.

    The Social sharing feature is for Pro and Enterprise, not the simple edition.

    Yes, it's exactly what you would do.

  • Restrict the Web view in a field?

    Hello.

    I need help limiting a webView to allow applications to a domain only. If users don't get carried away by clicking on the links other than that of the field.

    Someone would be able to give a code example on how to proceed?

    Thank you very much

    The example I posted previously and this new example will need a lot of work added to this, if you want to restrict to just 1 some website urls.

    Unforutnately it does not take into account if the user clicks on a link so I just looked at how to integrate this and it sounds simple enough.  I noticed one thing, it's that. contains() does not work, sorry for that instead of use. indexOf()

    property string mUrl
    onNavigationRequested: {
             console.log("NavigationRequested: " + request.url +  " navigationType=" + request.navigationType)
             mUrl = request.url
             if (mUrl.indexOf("facebook.com") > -1){
                     console.log("Url Matching")
                     request.action = WebNavigationRequestAction.Accept
             } else {
                     console.log("Url !Matching")
                     mainWeb.url = "http://www.facebook.com"
                     request.action = WebNavigationRequestAction.Accept
              }
    }

    make the requested onNavigation verification will count for what either the webviews url is changed to check and adjust if necessary... it worked for me and to re - direct to facebook.  It doesn't seem to be a bit slow, the first time, that he ran, but after that it seems catchy.

  • Viewing and buying Desktop / Web Viewer Question.

    I understand that if you share your free content via your iOS app it can be viewed in a browser (with a few features missing like hitting swiping images.)

    My question is this...

    I have a business account... A person buy the magazine and finds the whole magazine through a desktop computer with the DPS Web Viewer? Or its just limited to free content on your web browser, but they must have an iPad to view all mag?  They get full access to the desktop so they buy.

    Thank you
