  I have a vertical line on the left side of my screen on my G1 640 Probook - model number is T1C08UT #ABA.

  Yes, thank you. It was under warranty with HP, so they fixed it. It seems they replaced the raw Panel and she came back that all fixed as good as new.

  I have a HP Laserjet 1018. The toner is old, there are about 3,000 pages.

  These days, I saw a black line on the left side of the page. The rest of the page is fine - faded streak.

  I took the toner and it has shaken for a few seconds, from one side to the other, but who has no good.

  1018 manual says that when this happens, the old toner drum is scratched and insert a new. I did, and the line has dissappeared,

  OK, there was more Ink toner, left, but after 3, 000-plus pages, I can live with having to replace it.

  I have been using the monitor S2340L dell for the last 4 months. Now he seems to have a reddish tint on the left side of the screen. On a thorough inspection it seems also to be interlacing of horizontal lines. These lines don't extend to whole screen however, only about 5cm from the left at the border. the rest of the function of the monitor as usual.

  I did the test, in disabling the pc and pressing the keys 1 and 4 on monitor. It's still there. Please me tips on how to get this repaired/replaced product.

  Hello, about a year and a half ago, I bought a model 23 inches from the S2340M (from Amazon). The monitor was working fine until recently. A week ago, the left side of the screen burned the image of what I was watching. This caused a tint of green/gray and individual pixels can be seen. I tried the included air conditioning LCD function which doesn't seem to change anything. I also tried a regular white image, and an image black and white flashing screen adjustment, or gave me a bit of luck. I used the diagnostic tool which leads me to believe that the persistence of the image is irreversible. Any suggestions?

  Is your very large monitor, like an old TV or flat, as perhaps a few inches thick?  If it is very deep (front to back), you have an old style monitor, and they need to be demagnetised every now and then. Look on the monitor for the menu button and navigate until you find an icon like a horseshoe with a bar slash through it (or like a magnet) and select it.  All wavy and colorful display for one minute and then went back to normal. Also, make sure that all the cables between the monitor and your computer are firmly connected at both ends, even if you have a thin screen.

  If you have a laptop, try to turn the screen and see if the blur changes.  If so, you might have a connector loose inside and may need to be considered at a repair shop. =(

• HP Officejet 6210 All In One prints only on the left side of the page

  After good results, I tried to print a "retail Transaction" of Quickbooks account form twice with the same result:

  info. prints only on the extreme left, a straight line down...   I did adjust the paper tray.  What could be wrong?

  In the program you are trying to print from, click file and then click on print. The print dialog box opens.
  Select your printer, click printer properties or properties.
  Click the paper/quality tab.
  In the press or type click on the dropdown menu, select the type of paper that matches the paper loaded in the paper feeder and the desired print quality, paper size, select the correct size of paper.

  Make sure that the appropriate paper size is also selected in Quickbooks software.

  Try printing a different file where this file is corrupted or damaged.

  I have provided a document of Quickbooks print does not correctly.

  Solve common printing problems.

  Try printing from another application to see if there a software problem with the printer or application you are printing from.

• Question about the use of wildcards to the left side LIKE in SQL

  First of all, let me apologize because I posted this question earlier here and the question has been moved to the SQL forum.  Unfortunately, I do not have the possibility to answer or post a question in this forum, so I find myself in need to repost it here:

  If I use the select statement of the suite I get a double line:

  SELECT * FROM DUAL WHERE '%' LIKE '% ';

  But if I use the suite I get no line:

  SELECT * FROM DUAL WHERE '%' LIKE 'A % ';

  I guess that this % on the left acts as the '%' character and no comparison of character models.

  Is it possible to make it act as the wild-card operator, when it is placed on the left side of this TYPE?

  Then someone asked me what was my goal and if I could use REGEX.  Here's what I'm trying to do in general:

  I need to create a query similar to the following:

  The query is constructed dynamically, so a possible scenario represented in above the simplistic example, is that I received a single ABC for Some_Id entry and number of entry whether for Some_Other_Id but it the constraint (= 'ABC' AND Some_Other_Id LIKE 'A %' Some_Id) stored in the DB.  I then generate the query then because Some_Other_Id is part of the constraint that I need to add it to the entry that I build in the WITH of the query clause.

  I know that I can find ways more developed and complex execution of this match up of entry constraints, but I'm just trying to take advantage of the database to make it in the simplest.

  What is the requirement of real business here? You have presented how you want to solve it, but find it does not work, there may be a more appropriate method.

  Not really sure how to phrase my opportunity, so I'll just escaped with a few words and hope that it makes sense.

  I am the owner of a model U2711.  Other to be really hot, I dig the monitor.

  I bought this from Amazon.com apprx a year ago.

  In the past two months, there were sporadic cases of the left side of my screen having lots of white lines,

  then (finally) turning a blurry color, white-ish.

  I am a Mac user.  First of all, I checked to see if it was my video card, a couple of different ways.

  One way is to just use my old monitor.  The problems do not exist on my old monitor.

  Another way is to use my screen capture software to create a "video recording" of the issue.  I can't save, even when the problem occurs.

  I decided to take a real picture and post it here, hoping that someone will know a fix for this monitor.

  As I said, it's only a year.  I do not smoke.  I keep a clean work station.  I rely on my monitor for income.

  It is very important to me.  The only thing I have not tried is a new cable from my Mac to my U2711.

  I tried the Factory Reset option in the U2711 menu.

  I also tried to option LCD refresh in the U2711 menu.

  Of course, simply move the panels and the left edge of the edge of the screen and when you see a blue line release the mouse button and Panel will be docked to the left instead of right.
