• Office Application/Windows Forms errors

  I had a (Verizon) backup program online for more than a year. The program works very well - throughout all days-, but the shape of the desktop application has stopped working. In other words, I have to program and change the options of the application of office and for a reason that 'buttons' in the form are now "dead." I can click on some of the options (example nothing I click on that gets me to the home page of Verizon on the work of the fine line - it's just the actual form which does not work).

  I have re-installed several times, and the question remains. Verizon was no help and I don't think that it has nothing to do with the actual program/application anyway. . It's a question of .NET 2.0. (windows forms)  Please note: I'm just a basic user. I did research online and I just get a large number of real programmers pages on debugging. • X 200 beam forming error

  Hey all.  Here's a strange.  Our group has recently received a bunch of the x 200 tablets for field work and we all get this windows "formation of beams error."  It's very strange.  We all seem to get the error at different points of use no ryhme or reason when it pops up.  Some claim that it is during the passage of the "notebook" to "tablet".  Personally I didn't saw the error shortly after starting upwards in mode "laptop".  We are not yet certain what device is causing the error.

  No one knows what the beam forming called (I think this has something to do with the internal mic...)?

  Y at - it a possible driver update or a patch that could solve this problem?

  
  

• PDF form: error message on the button to submit the form

  Has joined the forum late last night (late midnight) and I am so grateful for the quick response from many of you

  the questions on the forms PDF which gave me mouth hanging open.

  Here are my recent puzzle:
  Why I get a "this operation is not allowed" when I have my button submit the test form?

  Then I'm saving the document with the new version, opening name to the test drive since my clients will not have Acrobat Pro.

  It will do when you use a version of the player before 11 reader if the document is not compatible drive. When you send the complete PDF file, it should be saved first, something only 10 player and front normally cannot do. Acrobat and Reader 11/DC do not have this restriction, so that they are able to submit complete PDF forms that have not been activated drive.

• Form error message 'the server encountered an error' Muse

  I downloaded a Web site using Muse, and I have problems with the form widget. I ran a diagnostic and all three are marked green, but when other people try to use it on a pc or phone, they get the error message "the server has encountered an error.

  What of weird is that some people have problems at all, and some are? I've updated the email address for the form to send to, to match the address of the site and its still does not.

  Please could you help, because I need it operational as soon as possible, as its RSVP form.

• Adobe Muse Contact form error

  Hi - I created a form of contact in Muse - you can see here:

  When I fill out the form - I get an error

  "The server has encountered an error.

  I read that I get this error because I don't have PHP set up properly...

  The site is hosted on a windows machine that has installed on this PHP and SMTP is enabled.

  But it's all that I know - what else do I need to do for files PHP to get this form send files php PHP installation or by mail?

  Please advise - and I'm a newbie to this and not very to the administration of the server - but I work with a guy who is - the case please tell me exactly what I need to do step by step, I can tell him what to do.

  Hi all and thanks for the help

  I have a form on a Web site that displays all the 'messages' at the same time sent, pending and error messages.

  

  In Muse, the States for each message appear correctly, but I deleted all of the messages in an attempt to solve the problem. Alas, the question remains.

  Any ideas short of deletion and remake the shape?

  You must use a Web font (preferred) or a web safe font, rather than a police system for messages.

  I checked it against another smaller shape, which works, but cannot see any difference between the first lines and last lines.

  
  

  OK set - the number at the top of the form is different than the script of the form.

  I realized that whenever a web form is modified, it gets a new number. catwebformformXXXXX

  However, the problem is that if you did a bit of CSS formatting (taking all the tables) and then add new fields, check the number changes in the javascript, you copy only the new code and new javascript, so you don't have to do all the formatting again.

  To fix, you must then manually change the number at the top as well.

  I guess that this problem will not occur if you format in the web form itself.

  Did you bounce the server after the message is created?
  Also, make sure that there are no other messages with the same Message or number name.

  You must also have the name of the token in the message if you use a token.

  I think that this error has something to do with the module "Anti-bot protection against fraud" If you activated this form in particular. What I recommend you do is either of the following:

  1 reinsert the form on your page and make sure that you do not change the field generated by the module "Anti-bot protection against fraud."

  2. navigate to Site Manager > Web Forms > [select your form] and remove the module "Anti-bot protection against fraud" of this web form.

  I tried this ad in the general area of CF with no response, two weeks ago so I thought I would try here.

  I applied the fix, last week and everything seemed to work, thought everything was fine.

  It turns out that forms which were functioning smoothly suddenly generated error 500 with no indication as to the real issue.

  These forms are simple fill it, create a pdf file, view the file.  Nothing too creative.  With no error message and nothing to tell me what is happening with this, I was forced to unload and hf901 - 00005.jar and back to hf901 - 00003.jar

  It's all working again, but I would really like to have the security patch AND have my forms work.

  Yes (I lived exactly the same problem when filling out PDF forms after upgrade to CF10) and there is actually 2 questions here (but the problems do not focus on the PDF).  In short, there is a solution.  I'll explain:

  First issue: Tomcat errors are not written on start.log or exception.log.  That's why you see no error logged.  This is Bug #3126106 and is marked fixed in CF10 (I haven't checked it, but need of.)  This is a note-to-self. = P).  However, I'm not sure if this problem is fixed in CF 9.0.2.

  Second question: as apsb12-15 States:

  1. This hotfix has a new setting in ColdFusion, limit of the message parameter. This setting limits the number of parameters in a post request. The default value is 100. If a post request contains several such parameters as specified, the server does not process the request and throws an exception. This process protects against DoS attacks using hash collisions. This setting is different from message size limit (ColdFusion Administrator > settings > maximum size of post data). This setting is not exposed in the console of the ColdFusion administrator. But you can easily change this limit in the file of neo - runtime.xml. See point 5 below.
  2. Customers who want to change the postParameterLimit, go to the {ColdFusion-Home} / lib for Server Installation or {ColdFusion-home} / WEB-INF/cfusion/lib multiserver or J2EE installation. Open the neo - runtime.xml file, after the line

  Add the line below, and you can change the desired number 100.

  Basically, the Tomcat error (which you don't see) is thrown b/c the form attempts to display more than 100 areas.  So just do as it says above: Add this line in bold and replace 100.0 w / a number high enough to cover the number of fields in your form.

  I note that CF10 allows this setting to be set via the settings page of the CF Admin via the parameter 'Number Maximum of POST request parameters'.
