Link hover

Check out this page...

By positioning the mouse on the sub-navigation menu (Board of Directors, etc.), the link moves. I'm pulling my hair out one by one, trying to find the cause. I'm sure that I have a conflict in my CSS, but do not know where he is. Help!

The problem is your rule of SUBBAR. You have this:

#subbar a: link, a: visited, a: hover, a: active {}
text-decoration: none;
padding: 5px;
}

which means all a: links inside the #subbar AND all visited/hover/active
links throughout the page - NOT only within #subbar. Edit the rule of
this:

#subbar a: link, #subbar a: visited, #subbar a: hover, #subbar a: active {}
text-decoration: none;
padding: 5px;
}

affect ONLY links within the #subbar.

Again - you will need to set this id = "width" problem and the red color on the
Hover links.

    IM assuming that because its the last piece italic is outside the div tag and for some reason the color of overview is not shown. Ive tried to apply both a: hover css and li: hover.

    Thank you

    I'm the see in FF 3.6.13 as well as on the PC.

    Validate your page or DW or the W3C. On the one hand, you have the divs inside li tags. Do not split your style... Add the italic style to the main styline for the li tag.

    If fixing coding does not work, try adding that a fill to the right of this container - a couple of pixels should do.

  • color of the unselected paneltabbed links

    Hello commnunity.

    This is our first project of the adf. We have developed an application with jdef 11.1.2.4 adf. Now almost well. But I'm stuck with a single graphic element. We have changed the skin for our application

    -generated a collection of images with the css editor and edit them in a photo editor (in fact just replaced color) for paneltabbed and after a

    -changed some settings in the css file

    Now, the look paneltabbed like this:

    panel.png

    But,

    the color of the hover text for the unselected tab remains blue without worrying all my efforts to change. Which is not good because of the dark blue background color.

    I tried

    AF | panelTabbed:tab - text-link: hover-target

    {

    color: #ffde73;

    -tr - inhibit: color;

    }

    AF | panelTabbed:tab - text-link: hover

    {

    color: #ffde73;

    -tr - inhibit: color;

    }

    AF | panelTabbed:tab - text-link

    {

    color: #ffde73;

    -tr - inhibit: color;

    }

    and similar variations... nothing worked. I also experimented with aliases for color of link without success. The color of the text (#0154AF) seems to be hidden somewhere.

    So to be clear:

    I helped create the skin of skyros and using the! important tag should be avoided, because it will be impossible to replace the style. You can try to increase above the base style selector specificity. To do this, I would add a selector of ancestor of the DOM, something like this:

    AF | panelTabbed af | panelTabbed::tab:hover af | panelTabbed:tab - text-link {}

    It is not necessary to be which is accurate, but it will not hurt. (selector complexity does not affect performance, but it is not big enough to worry)

    Take note that there are spaces between the three elements of the selector, it's say they are contained somewhere in the chain on the left. (panelTabbed contains a panelTabbed::tab, etc.)

    The Inspector/firebug showing styles sorted by specificity (by default) would be good to see what happens when you switch to this style.

    This article will help you if you need to better understand how it works, it will do what you want, I'm sure of that.

  • I need to add bullets to a list that already has a class of p associated with it and they are just what I try mess it all links

    Okay, so I hate lists at this point! I have a set of links that have a class associated with them are, so that they become blue over bearing. Now, I need to add these red balls in front of the links. I have the following css:

    .links a: link {}
    text-decoration: none;
    Color: #333333;
    text-align: left;
    }
    .links a: visited {}
    text-decoration: none;
    Color: #000000;
    text-align: left;
    }
    has .links: hover {}
    text-decoration: underline;
    color: #003399;
    text-align: left;

    .links a: active {}
    text-decoration: none;
    Color: #333333;
    text-align: left;
    }

    I then for fleas:

    {.classol}
    text-align: left;
    color: Red;
    list-style-position: inside;
    }

    It's the list on the links page:

    "< class p = 'links' > < a href ="http://www.cslb.ca.gov "> California State Board of licensing contractors < /a > < class p = 'links'" > < a href = "http://www.goodbuilders.org/index.asp" > El Dorado Builders Exchange < /a > < /p >

    "< class p = 'links' > < a href ="http://www.dgs.ca.gov/default.htm "> California Department of General Services < /a > < /p > h"

    THE PROBLEM:

    If I add the < class li = "classol" > in front of the links, it messes up the alignment and the link turns red. I'm sure it's something simple, but I'm baffled by this thing the entire list. I tried all possible arrangement between these two and that you are unable to watch and 'Act' correctly.

    As always, any help is appreciated.

  • Beginner: change link colors, get rid of the stress, get rid of the boxes around linked images

    So, I'm pretty new to all this.

    I'm trying to set up a site of minimalist art and there are a lot of white space. My 'customer' wants that the text of the link to not have this default underscore in this regard. We also want to change the colors of the binding for a three different situations (not yet clicked, the cursor, already clicked)

    In addition, we have a few images that are background white background that blend with the background. We wanted to make linkable, but when I do that the image gets a box massive ugly link around it. We want to keep it white...

    How do I do that?

    You must use CSS.

    delete notes:
    a {}
    text-decoration: none;

    is not-yet-a click on the links:
    a: link {}

    already-one click on (visited) links:
    a: visited {}
    ... formatting...
    }

    Links hover:

  • 1 model for all the links of pseudo-device

    Hello group, this should be an easy question, but I'm stumpped for some reason any. While trying to keep my style sheet, organized and as small as possible, I want to have a style for all the events of a hyperlink in a specific. class. I thought I could do this by creating simply 1 style .class {a} and who would be the appearance of all the States of this hyperlink.

    Basically I don't want my style sheet stretch downwards when having the same exact style for different binding events properties. I just have 1 style all States active, hover effects, etc., but I don't know how the style should look:

    I tried and has some variants beside her, but nothing has done what I wanted.

    . Class a: link: hover: visited: active: visited: hover {}
    do-family: Arial, Helvetica, without serif.
    do-size: 8pt;
    color: #003366;
    padding-top: 5px;
    padding-right: 5px;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
    padding-left: 5px;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    This:

    > .class a: link: hover: visited: active: visited: hover {}

    . Class a: link, .class a: .class visited, a: hover, .class a: active {}

  • How to properly reproduce the old statusbar and a few other features?

    I can see that the question 'statusbar' have been discussed a lot, but could not find a satisfactory answer.

    I don't use Internet Explorer for several years in favour of Firefox. I hope I can keep it like that while I'm also able to stay up to date at the same time.

    After recently updated my FF 3.6 (I think) to 4.0.1 and a lot of time trying to adapt the new looks and location of bars and buttons etc to my tastes, I need help with a few things:

    1. How can I disable the 'link hover Preview' bar and do appear on the Add on Bar(the old statusbar replacement)?

    2. How can I remove the X(close button) in the bar of the add-on? I don't know if its just me, but something in the back of my head he takes for a pop up or something else which should be closed. Very annoying to have to re - activate each time.

    3. How can I put a "border" around the new toolbar add-on so it doesn't look like an extension of the IM Web page currently at? The lack of a border may be the reason why I think that subconsciously this is a popup. But despite this, I see no reason for the X.

    4. the new makes it clear buttons/icons easy to Miss click (they all look too similar now), it can recover the "old"?

    5. How can I make the Reload / Stop button button separate buttons to stay instead of a single combined button?

    6. Finally, I am used to having a button to the right of the last tab to open a new tab. Now, I need to add another button at the top instead. Or can I pick up the feature old 'open new tab' somehow?

    Thank you for your time.

    It probably is a very powerful add-on but I do not not know what it contains, and the source code so that it is not 'open' as far as I can understand/find.

    For later use, you can usually read the source of an extension. Try this:

    Since the installation page, click install and choose Save Link As. Save the file as to a convenient working folder. Then rename the file with a .zip extension. Go through it with ZIP, the built-in browser of Windows XP or "unzip here" with your favorite Zip utility.

    The main scripts are generally in the components folder, while the user interface elements are generally in the chrome folder. At least in those that I opened.

  • Can't find the set of patches 'superset' or 'Replaced' MOS

    Hello

    I have an old base Oracle 11 GR 2, which want to patch 11.2.0.1-> 11.2.0.3.

    Through Google, I found it as patch = 10404530.

    But I'm unable to find through the option patches & updates to MOS.

    Here's wat I entered:

    Product: Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition

    Selected: Include all the products in a family

    Release date: Oracle 11.2.0.3.4 (this is the patch I want to download)

    Platfoem: Linux x 86-64

    When I click on search, I can't find a patch that matches 'PATCH SET for ORACLE DATABASE SERVER'

    I have not found the "superset" selection or "Cancel".

    Can someone tell me what I got wrong?

    Thank you in advance.

    Thanks and greetings

    MOS, click on the tab "Patches & Updates", then click on the link "latest Patchsets' from the left pane. In the pop-up window, hover over the "Oracle Database" link, hover over the link to the OS, then select your version of the data base (say 11.2.0.4) to the download link for the fix.

  • AF:button styleClass

    Hello. I have problems with the style classes. I have two af: buttons and want to style them so they look different when selected, depressed, hovered, etc.. The first button should be red when it's activated, depressed, etc. and the other must be blue. At this point, I can make the two red or two blue when selected, etc., but not a red and a blue. I tried to add the names of style classes for them (like .buttonOne and .buttonTwo and adding the two buttons), but who eventually remove customizations. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

    It works, in fact in the previous comment, I just write css without testing (as I was travelling), just remove a hover

    . Af StyleOne | {button: link

    color: Navy;

    make-weight: bold;

    }

    . Af StyleTwo | {button: link

    color: Red;

    make-weight: bold;

    }

    . StyleTwo af | button: link: hover {}

  • Menus in Fireworks and Dreamweaver templates

    I created some button and drop down menus in Fireworks CS6. They seem good. I then created a template in Dreamweaver CS6 and added the Fireworks HTML code to the model and saved as a template. Live view mode shows good drop downs and stationary. Then I tried to attach a template to a page, and I also create a model page. I have two stationary circumstances does not work. Any suggestions?

    Thank you all. I have pleasure to fight through questions that t allows me to store solutions. All of the edge where great. In the end, this is what I found.

    1 Yes working with Fireworks is tedious at best. Menus in Fireworks will work in the models. Yes I created a template page in the correct Manor. However, the translation works well with these scripts in Fireworks and the menus.

    -Solution = I corrected the complete image URL links. Example: changed... liabilities to http://www.sethermal.com/assets.

    -It fixes all problems of hover, I had.

    2. Yes, I like CSS. I learned a lot through all tips from you guys. I build menus using CSS only for new customers.

    3 Finally, Yes, I see how the Hover link area extends to the right. I can live with that. I need to reduce the link Hover area so I don't cover the adjacent top menu bar button. I will continue to work on "positioning", etc..

  • Image Rollover Navigation

    Can someone point me to instructions for the creation of a horizontal navigation bar, only images. I know a bit of html, but not tons.

    I'm going to need a link, hover and active State for 6 images below. I SCOURED the web and found no not the instructions. So I would appreciate the help.

    Here's what I'm trying to do. Image will be active and green to the overview. Thanks a lot for your help!

    TheNav.jpg

    Of course, to do this in Design view...

    1 click where you want the rollover.

    2. choose Insert > picture > rollover Image

    3. in the dialog that appears, give the image a name that you will remember

    4. for the original Image, go to the Off state

    5. for rollover Image, go to the stationary State

    6. Add the alternative text (necessary for screen readers or browsers picture off)

    7. navigate to the file you want to link to for when you click on it, go to URL

    There is no active State in itself, with this method, what you do is remove the rollover image and replace it with a normal image using the hover state of the button of the page, you're on a reminder "you are here".
