  • More RAM to HP Pavilion

I was thinking about buying more memory in my laptop. Now it has 6 gt (actually only 4Gt available)

My laptop is HP Pavilion 15-p047no

    System information:

    Windows 8.1

    AMD Quad - Core A8 - 6410 APU with graphics Radeon R5
    6 GB 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM (1 x 2 ja 1 × 4 Gt Gt)
AMD Radeon R7 M260 graphics card

It is, it works in it? -> HP DDR3L 1600 MHz 4 GB low voltage SO-DIMM? Found in a store.

Oh and how the amount of memory RAM is actually possible to install?

    Sodug.

You will first need to remove the top cover.

    e http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docnam = c04324972 & lc = en & cc = us & dlc = en

    Then remove the motherboard.

    Red are cables.

    Blue are screws.

    Then return the motherboard.

The memory is located on the underside.

Better left to someone who has done this before.

  • Allocate more RAM for integrated graphics - HP Pavilion 15-n225nr TouchSmart laptop

Hi, I have a HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15-n225nr Notebook PC, which is optimal for workloads but (A10 2.10 GHz AMD quad-core processor, came with 8 GB of ram and 750 GB HARD drive), however, recently tried to make a few games but this laptop has an intgrated GPU. I read that the upgrade of RAM will do not much but I ordered a second card of 8 GB of ram, because I want to increase the framerate by every single FPS I can ge and I'm coming soon, so I'll have 16 GB of RAM and the fact he'll be dual channel is a more. I have also read that by upgrading the RAM you can upgrade the amount of ram used by your integrated gpu because there will be more RAM available for use. I don't know if by upgradinng the RAM VRAM happen automatically or if I'll be able to do it manually, I read that you can do it via the BIOS, I don't know for shure if possible.

So, is it possible to increase the fraction of my RAM than my integrated graphics card uses?, if yes, how?

If it is not possible to what can do to increase my FPS on the game?, because I can't change a dedicated GPU because it's a laptop.

Thanks in advance for any help.

According to the specifications of your computer, to graph total 4195 MB memory is the maximum that can be used. Regardless of the amount of dedicated, is all that can be used as memory dedicated. As a general rule, Windows controls the amount of memory used by the video card. This means that you will not be able to change the settings in the BIOS that will change this option. This isn't a computer class in the game and you expect too much of him.

  • Pavilion 15-P203AU: upgrade RAM to HP Pavilion 15-P203AU

I'm looking to it for general use, but also for a video montage.

I saw the book loads indicate maximum RAM of 4 GB, while the seller claims this can be increased up to 8 GB.

Is that correct and if there will be a change appropriate for this purpose?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Not much information on the following links:

    http://www.OfficeWorks.com.au/shop/OfficeWorks/HP-Pavilion-15-6-15-p203au-laptop-hp15p203au

    http://WWW8.HP.com/au/en/products/laptops/product-detail.html?OID=7613462#! tab = specifications

But on the second the link manual next (page #3), it supports up to 16 GB (depending on model). It is safe to say that it supports 8 GB (4 + 4). Unfortunately, you are unable to update yourself, you need service provider authorized to add more RAM for you otherwise it will void the warranty.

    Kind regards.

  • Installing more ram help

I have a HP Pavilion media center m8020n PC.  Looking at my product that I bought a few more ram = KVR800D2K2/1 GR is the model # on the ram I bought.    I buy this RAM from ebay and after that give model card mother said it was compatiable.  I tried to install it myself.  Computer would not boot.  Received 1 short beep 1 long beep.  Back factory in the original slots and it came out fine.  I'm missing something like compatibility or something.

Looks like an incompatible memory. Your original is PC2-4200 and the new PC2-6400 memory:

    Card mother of State supported PC2-3200 (400 MHz), PC-4200 (533 MHz) and PC2-5300 (667 MHz) DDR2:

  • How can I require more RAM to my graphics card?

I'm pretty sure that this question is thrown around a lot, but I can't really find an answer that helps my situation.
So, I have a HP Pavilion p6-2480ea and I have 6 GB of RAM, but only 32 MB of this is dedicated to my graphics card. So I was wondering if I could dedicate more RAM for my video card? I have an Intel integrated graphics card, so I don't know about if it will hinder me.

    Thank you.

Normally this parameter is in the BIOS on a desktop computer.  Now remember that the OEM motherboards have luxury may not allow the user to this area of the settings.  Check that setting (award shared with the integrated video graphics card memory) if there is no box for this setting, it might be a better option to add a video card to the system.

  • Installing more ram will make my computer Windows XP go faster?

    original title: windows xp
Good so I have a few things.

    1. I have a dell Dimension 3000 that hang out around 256 mb of ram and a 70-80 GB hard drive, I use it only for a camera of security around the House, but now the computer is so slow, that I want to upgrade.

    2. I would like to ask a few more ram in it, at least 2 GB, will make that it go faster?

    3. I also might want to replace the hard drive, it makes not go faster, and I have to reinstall the OS?

4 will be one of this affect my security camera because the dimension has these ports inside the motherboard that allows to add stuff to it and I plug this card of mother of security camera and my friend helped me to implement, he moved so that he can not help me more. I was wondering, if replaceing the drive and ram will make my pc faster and still be able to use my camera to safety without any reinstallation

    Thank you!

Note: Some of these old dell computers have only a drive Bay and the data cable is short and has only one connector for the hard drive. If this is the case and you plan to go XP disk a larger and faster hard you will need a USB external drive to store the backup Image file. Pull the old drive, use the emergency recovery CD to restore the new disk.

Also based on time, this model has been sold by Dell, the chances are very high that the biggest hard drive you can install is a disk of 120 GB PATA/IDE BIOS will not support 48-bit LBA (disks more 1237 GB in size).

Additional memory - use the Crucial utility "system scan": http://www.crucial.com/

In short the additional memory (1 GB) and a pilot of faster (7200 RPM) will improve performance a bit. But this is an older system, so don't expect miricals.

  • How much is the max RAM on my Pavilion dv600?

Hi, what is the max RAM on my pavilion dv6000?  is the dv6308nr, it has vista-32 bits, but I want to move to 7-64 bit, thanks a lot. Hugo

    Hello:

.. .and make sure that if you want to update the BIOS, do it before installing W7, or you will be brick the phone if you Flash the BIOS thereafter.

Everyone sees this release note, after they install Windows 7, and they Flash BIOS.

    System requirements: Operating systems
    Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition
    Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic 32 Edition
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Edition
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic 64 edition
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64 edition

    Exit the: 2010-04-06
    Version: F.43
Compatibility: Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit), Microsoft Windows XP
Fix/development: -Fixes an issue where a message that says to replace the battery is incorrectly displayed when upgrading the operating system to a Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.

The good news is someone who is flashing the BIOS on a dv6000 and dv9000 notebook after installation of windows 7 doesn't have to worry about the problem of fake battery error more.

The bad news is that they need a new notebook PC.

  • Mac Pro: more RAM or better video card for video editing?

I'm going to buy a new Mac Pro for video editing in first Pro CC, but can't decide if I should ad more cores, more RAM or a better graphics card.

Intend to change the RED 4 K files.

    Hello

I'm certinaly not an engineer who can comment on how applications are written and how can hearts of processor they can write effectly, but there has been a lot of comments to the Mac Pro (new), and to answer your question, based on what I read, there were comments that the 8 basic model is good for video editing - not too , nor too little.

Being an editor, I'd always put my money to get the best graphics cards and the largest amount of RAM that you can afford.  For work, we've been specing on new models and it was the 'formula' we follow.  With the exception of the RAM, sounds like once you buy, your clerks to the material with the new machines.

I found the review below to be a great resource that can help answer your question.

Hope that helps and good luck with your purchase.

  • I need more RAM?

Using CS4 and the project becomes bigger and bigger. It is now up to 85 min HD occupied; effects, transitions, 60 title my models.  I have to reboot often enough to avoid crashing.  If I catch him in time so that nothing is lost, but...

I add to the slowest project of my computer runs.

That makes sense, but what I wonder is this a symptom of need more RAM?

Currently, Vista 64 bit, 8 GB of ram.

I have three sata of the HHD, a dual core processor and a new videocard evea. I know the modeol, but for now, it's fast enough with a good memory.

    Thanks Jim

ICRA response from an Adobe employee is almost always going to be YES.

In other words, if you have a 64 bit OS, then RAM is always the best and the best way to improve the performance of the system with Premiere Pro.

Another suggestion to clean your project is to clean the media cache - it might be useful to run a little bit if you have not done in a long time.

    See you soon,.

  • More Ram in Qosmio X 300 W

    Hello
Howe can insert more Ram of Qosmio x 300 W, I'm on Vista Ultimate 64-bit so I would have 8 GB of Ram.
But I can't know that it is possible where the extra 4 GB Ram should be.

    Hello

Did you check your user manual?
    Isn't it? Do it!

As far as I know these details are always mentioned in the manual of the user who is always pre-installed on the notebook.

I think the banks of memory are placed at the bottom of the unit and you can access it easily.
The slot should be placed close to cooling fans and it s covered by a screw.
Remove it and you should be able to remove the cover of the location too.

In the manual you should also find a detailed how instruction insert new modules from memory. It of not really difficult.

I also found an info that the RAM modules of 1 GB, 2 GB and 4 GB can be inserted into the two slots.

I hope I could help you!

    Good bye
