  Just to add to the response of cor - el, in my case (identical) was specifically the complement DivX HiQ, worm 2.1.0.900. As soon as I turned it off, the tabs started to behave normally again.

  Whenever I use a hot link URL default is Windows open this link in what is the latest web browser, I have installed

  -For example, I use Chrome but have installed Firefox also. Any link opens in Firefox never in Chrome. I recently installed Opera just to check and everything opens at the opera. Then I tried Internet Explorer and now everything opens in the browser only - never in others.

  I don't want four browsers but I want to be able to control where to open the dynamic URL links

  You can set the default browser used for links in the control panel.  Just highlight the browser you want to use and select "set this program as default.  Then it will be used for the opening of the links.

  After seeing a few screenshots of the file I think I see what's happening now. There is a watermark diagonal URL through the page that is converted to a link automatically by the application. Disable it go to Edition - Preferences - general and uncheck the box that says "create links from URLS".

  You can not.  It has to do with the defined default messaging application in the

  system where the file is opened.

  I'm not sure I understand. Looks like you want to create a link to the document to the other PDF documents that are included as attachments to the main PDF file. Is this fair? If so, where you have "Highlight the attachment link" above, I would say that this should be "open one of the attached PDF files and navigate to the desired page. After you press the "Set" button, the link is created. If now go you back to the main PDF document and change the link (properties > Actions > access a page in another document > Edit) there should be a menu drop-down "open in" as stated above. If you do something else, post again.
