  Whenever I try to access an application, appworld is a site of the company that send me to appworld I get this error.

  I have loaded the bb appworld re have the latest version for my new bb bold 9900, but still the error and then lock up. Power off, and get a message that I had an unknown error.

  People have had this problem since 2010. I never had this problem with my flashlight or my 9000 "BOLD".
  Anyone know what is happening? I also have the latest OS on my 9900.

  Found a solution! Laughing out loud! How delayed. I changed my email in bb code. For example, after changing from one gmail to another account, I changed it back and baaammmm! Problem solved, but do not know why it should be a problem in the first place right?

  Good luck to you guys who do not have the possibility of returning to another email.

  I downloaded the upgrade for Salesforce Mobile on my BlackBerry Storm.  I had to delete some older applications, so the upgrade would fit and should have attempted the upgrade of App World several times.  I now have an icon on the top of the home page which is a black circle with a white border and a white arrow pointing down, with a red star over the arrow.  There is the number "2" beside him.

  I think that it is a download of the App World in progress icon, but I have never seen this.  What is and, more importantly, how clear it?  Thank you!

  Go to the message folder and you will see these 2 points. You can just delete it fom.

  Hello, I just bought a new Blackberry Bold 9700 in Israel, and the phone tells me that app World is not available in my country. I hope Blackberry plans to fix it soon as the i-phone and androids are open here to their app worlds. Anyway, is there a way I can download apps without AppWorld? Otherwise it was the biggest waste of money ever - without the Smartphone applications are not so different from cheap phones, and blackberries just shouldn't be sold here if the services are not available.

  Further still, you should know that AppWorld is simply a portal, vending apps developed mainly by others. Therefore, it is not your exclusive supply source - there are others that you can try (e.g., Handango, Handmark, BPlay, GetJAR and Mobihand). I found that there are very few applications that is exclusive to AppWorld. You can see the online catalogue and then look for other sources of supply, including quite often on the developer website.

  Finally, understand that RIM has no unilateral control over the availability of AppWorld. On the contrary, a triad of entities must agree - RIM, wireless service provider, and Government. As the main entity to profit in this triad, I've always suspected that the RIM is not one that could hinder the process.

  My BBM has disappeared from the BB app world, even if I type Blackberry Messenger in the search engine of the app world it shows a few apps from third party bt not the BBM real application itself...

  I currently have 6.2.0.56 BBM version and therefore cannot be updated to BBM 7...

  A few weeks ago, BBM is available for download on App world bt, it was still 6.2.0.56 version not BBM 7. .and BBM 7 released by RIM in December. Now its gone compleletly.

  I will stay in India... If BBM 7 not made available to the Indian BB users by RIM? and when it will be available?

  Or there are some issues with App world?

  And also done BB travel works in India coz I know for cards is BB n traffic BB does not.

  The reason is that carriers in India have not agreed to support the voice feature of BBM again.

  You should complain to your mobile service providers.

They are an upgrade to 2.0 and when I try to upgrade using App world on the device, I get a message indicating that its effect is not available for download through app world.   I just started with applications to develop for the playbook, and now my first application is complete. Everything works fine when I was the launch of flex builder, after that I sent it to approval by world app but when I download it from app world, it seems that it cannot create a file used as my sqlite db is something different, I need to do when getting the app on the app world? or is it in the output of the build process that I do something wrong? or do I need permission to user we sqlite on the playbook?

  You try to change something in the directory "app." You can't do that. The "app" directory is read-only. If the database is delivered with your application, you must copy to the directory "app-storage" If there are still and open from there.

  I downloaded yesterday the BB App World 1.1.0.33 for my 8900 Javelin and just realized today that my App World icon is gone / hidden!

  I HAV to search all folders and it isn't here.

  When I checked my applications in options, it is quite there as being fully installed!

  How to 'show' or find App World please?

  No it is not hidden on the homescreen as I put it to show all. It was not located in the downloads folder. I mentioned earlier that when I checked on the list of installed Applications, it was listed as being installed on the system.

  My solution was to remove the slice of the list of Applications, restart the device and then reinstall once more (I did twice btw). When I did the second time I checked the downloads folder and it is finally here! I hope this helps @ rcorai.

  Although I preferred pretty well if I could have located the previous app rather than delete n re-install!

  So I did the app world update, now it doesn't work at all. battery pull, resettled, traction battery (UNIT of BRICK) uninstalled, reinstall the system.

  solved! Just remove app world, after reloading all software for the second time and never reinstall again.

  Yes, this is what I found too. Pretty stupid restriction in my humble OPINION. I can see it with approved applications, but who never submitted projects must be removable if you decide not to submit them.

  I have a couple of versions that I used to make sure I had the correct submission process before asking for approval. Wish I could get rid of them now.
