  If you want to convert Word files to PDF with the Adobe Reader application then it is possible with the service Pack of PDF. Try to use the service on the web: https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf

• Links to the Documents folder suddenly broken?

  So I had learned about my computer to play a favorite game and was astounded to see that all of my saved games disappeared suddenly! After exploring a bit I found something even more weird - the link in the start menu in the Documents folder suddenly didn't work.

  After having studied more, I realized the two were linked - the files of game themselves had not been deleted - they were stored in a folder in the My Documents folder, the computer can see somehow is more (unless I went directly to her).

  How can I get my computer to correctly bind to My Documents folder again, please?

  Please check if your Internet Explorer (or your main browser, if you have 2) has its flaws...
  Start > default programs > set your default programs > column to the left, click on Internet Explorer or your main browser.

  Simply create the pdf file and add a link to it, as you would for any web page - include a link to download the software Acrobat reader as well.  I would avoid using a Word file, in which case the person may not have Word installed on their machine.

  It is unlikely that any particular control. During the conversion to Word, it's always a challenge between those who want the exact layout at the cost of editing and who want editable at the cost of page layout. I'm surprised Acrobat does not have controls for it, but it doesn't. You probably need to remove breaks in Word.

  I have to remove http://www.mysite.com/ of all the links on a site (300 pages). I know I can do a search/replace... actually I did. And then I ran into a few problems (Yes, I have a backup!).

  When I go to ifrance.com and click a link to 'about', it takes me to mysite.com/about.html.

  I then click another menu called "Beans" that is located in mysite.com/beans.html.

  Then I click on "Red beans" in the submenu, which takes me to mysite.com/beancolours/red.html

  When I click on the 'about' link then red.html in the beancolours folder, it takes me to mysite.com/beancolours/about.html and I get an error because the about.html is not in this folder.

  I know how to fix this manually with... /, but I can't get dreamweaver to do this for me, for the whole site?

  This isn't a relative link to the root of the site. There is a link to the document. A relative link to the root of the site begins with a slash. It's the same thing, as an absolute link, but without the http:// followed by the name of domain.

  There are two ways to solve your problem:

  1. "Do a search and replace operation for the entire site, looking for href ="http://www.mysite.comand replacing it with href = ". That will leave a link to the root of the site.
  2. Access the Site > change link at the site level. Change each link individually to a relative link to the root of the site.

• Lack of PDF link which is no longer in the document?

  I have this document which was only a linked several page PDF file. After several iterations the PDF of the images have been removed from the document. Recently our HE decided to rename our servers so that all links in the document had to be reprinted time and that's when I noticed that Indesign still considers this PDF file is in the document, though even he is not designate a page number on the link tab, or it jumps to the link on "Go to Link". I even tried to recreate a link to the new location and it does nothing... I'm scratching my head. At the moment there no adverse or corruption of the document or otherwise, but I would hate for something horrible to occur later. Any ideas?

  One thing to note, is the name of the PDF file has '-' in the name. Not sure if this is important, but I saw some chatter here that refer to abnormalities with the replacement text in file names.

  I work in the CC and a Windows 7.

  I wonder how I can browse all the links in the links Panel, programmatically. I have a document where the resources present in this Panel are not available using the ILinkManager. He tells me there are no links in the document when using ILinkManager-> GetLinkCount().

  Your content must be labeled - surrounded by a single label.

  Text-Select this unique tag (see the invisible etc for the right selection).

  Remove the text selection.

  See: Tags are gone, content text disappeared, the images have disappeared.

  Now find a way to perform this deletion text programmatically. Without specific code XML - operation but a simple text, InDesign will do the rest.

  Finally, use the code that results on the backup store.
