Linksys LGS308P passive POE 24V

Hello

I plan to buy Linksys LGS308P work with Ubiquity UniFi PSU-AC-LITE which is powered by passive POE 24V.

To the profile for LGS308P I can't determine if it also supports passive POE 24V.

Anyone know if this combination is possible?

Thank you

Pavel

Linksys genius come back to us and the LGS POE switches do not support the 24V they mention is not compatible with PoE IEEE 802.3af / standards.

    Help, please!
I bought four LGS308P to switch to feed 20 AP ubiquiti PSU does not work. the AP does not illuminate. I bought this thinking it was compatible switch

Hi daster11. Our LGS308P is supported by the 802.3at (PoE +) and the 802.3af (PoE) PoE standards. You can check the data sheet of your AP Ubiquiti if they have the standards 802.3af PoE (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE +). Also, our LGS308P is not compatible passive PoE.

  • Poe on a cisco/linksys slm224p

I posted this on whirlpool but was just a confirmation.

I am looking for the above material, and I want to be able 11 switches Cisco SLM2005 5 Port. The documentation says it can provide 12 POE ports to 7.5W, now the question is 7, 5W enough to power a SLM2005?

I looked through the cisco Web site and it does not have the necessary power. Information closest I get is from the user's Guide which provides that he supports IEEE 802.3af, but which allows 1 - 12w.

Does anyone have experience in implementing the SLM224P and using POE.

    See you soon
    Dale

    Hi Dale,

I plugged a SLM2005 in a SGE2010P. He showed a draw in the fate of 3100-3300 miliwatts. This is part of the class 1, 0.44 - 3.84 watts. 11 * 3.84 = 42,24. SLM224P will meet your needs. Half left of this switch is PSE as stated on page 7 of the Administrator's Guide.

    Hope this helps,

    Christopher

  • Wired router with POE and Gigabit ethernet to run two AC1750 access points?

Hello, I'm looking for a recommendation for a wired router with POE and Gigabit ethernet to connect to both access to ceiling LinkSys AC1750 points internet routing on the WAN to a Virgin Media UK cable connection plug - can someone advise a good solution?

I'm a Home Office / Small Office so user there are several Wired's devices and a mixture of wireless clients. I need at least 8 ethernet outlets. Reliablity and speed performance are important, but not important enough to go overboard on the cost!

    Many thanks to you all.

I recommend a router Linksys (SMB) LRT214\224 and a switch POE LGS Linksys (SMB). This combination will be very fast and stable.

  • With the help of TC as a bridge between the Linksys router.  TC will be connected by a cable ethernet to another building.  Will this work? Help.

Need to get wireless to my workshop about 70 feet from the House.  Linksys router connect to the Hughes Net modem uses.  I have a new time Capsule I would like to set up in the workshop.  I have an ethernet cable from my house to the workshop.  (Had bad lighting storm last week and knocked out two Linksys routers.  TVs all otherwise not serious!  Need help, TC inlays.

Connect the ethernet to the WAN port on the TC and just run the configuration wizard utility airport... it should automatically configure the TC correctly... Have you already tried that and it didn't... If so the TC attached as well during the storm because it can damage the ethernet ports.

  • PoE to power a switch

Does anyone know of an Ethernet hub or switch that can be powered from Power Over Ethernet?  I have a location without electricity but with an Ethernet jack.  This would allow me to extend the network there without having to invest in the walls of the electrician and opening etc.

    Thank you.

There are switches that can provide Poe or be powered by PoE equipment (such as Netgear and TP-Link) network suppliers. It is also possible to use a separate PoE injector for the provision. For switches/routers without possibility to be powered directly by PoE, a PoE splitter can offer an alternative solution. There are some limits of voltage and current (and temperature) that must be respected. In addition, always check the construction and electrical instructions for your country.

  • How is it that we still have the ssl_error_weak_server_cert_key error when you try to access the Linksys routers?

We had this error pop up in FF 32 and 33 and 34 FF fixed it. How is it that since FF38.1 returned error and even now with 40 FF, the error is still there. Why is no longer an exception option Add to these routers? Even some of the most recent always give this error.

You probably cannot update the key, but you can complain to Linksys.

  • How to connect my Airport Express to Linksys WAG120N?

I recently bought a Linksys WAG120 + 2 Modem Router ADSL. I have a connection broadband ADSL with PPPoE. I want to use WAG120 as modem only & Airport Express as main WI - FI router. Please help how to configure my modem and Airport Express?

Executer run through the installation wizard, select bridge mode.

It should be a simple option available from the installation... but I don't have to say.

    http://downloads.Linksys.com/downloads/Userguide/1224645029534/WAG120N-160Nv2-32 0N-EMEA_UG_C-WEB, 0.pdf

Bridge is explained in the manual... always an interesting place to look for instructions.

The express for PPPOE in the Internet tab of configuration... Note that this is not reliable for many people. Your ISP MUST also support PPPOE.

The network tab is then configured with DHCP and NAT. the rest is pretty much automatic.

missing text, missing items of choice.

the items that appear are selectable, but it is a subset of a correctly rendered page.

    It worked correctly before,
    all the cleared cache.
    ABP and scriping turned off.

more information, ABP was the culprit, deselection on page
    Fixed rendering problem.

  • Firefox and a Linksys router

I run a bed and breakfast. I have a router Linksys (EA6200). Thanks to the support of Linksys, I found solutions to help the login page appear for my guests in IE and Google Chrome. Unfortunately, it is still not load in Firefox.

I want this to work just like when you go to a café or restaurant of fast food with the WiFi. I don't want to tell clients that they must do this or that if it is really simple to do.

Any reason, why this does not work in Firefox and how to fix?

jsher2000, you're awesome, but I guess you've heard this before. Bypass cache (Ctrl + Shift + R) didn't work, but put them in another URL worked like a charm.

  • On linksys WRT - 1900AC V2 Time machine

SE your know that Linksys WRT-1900ac can use the time machine function? another post said that can not use time machine to back up! Is it really?

    Thank you!

Yes, really. the linksys is a wifi router only, and has no hard disk attached. I guess that you can attach a hard drive somewhere (if possible) and put on with the Time machine backup, but this is neither here nor there.  For me, I bought a time capsule airport - very reliable and very easy to install and to use, does the job quietly and well. He also recommended to have a backup of some sort finally... just for security reasons

  • I'm unable to access my Linksys router using Firefox browser version 9.0.1, but had no problem with knowledge is this normal or is there compatibility with Firefox problems?

I am new to the Firefox browser and just tried to configure my Linksys router using Firefox and could not access my router, but had no problem with Internet Explorer. I was wondering is - this normal or there at - it set I can are wrong to use Firefox to fix my router?

If you have the NoScript extension or other blocking JavaScript extensions (addons > Extensions), you must allow (or temporarily allow) the IP address of your router. Any particular setting should be held in Firefox itself.
