  • VMware Server 2.0.1 for Linux 64-bit - any differences?

Probably a stupid question (well, it is), but I can't find a definitive answer.  Is there a difference between the "'VMware Server 2 for Linux 64 - bit version operating systems ' rpm and archive "Basic application necessary for the performance of VMware Server 2, 64-bit version" ?"  The database size, release & build number, etc..  I put this on a Ubuntu 9.04 server, so the speed control will not work unless I convert it into something that includes apt.  Is archive of the right way to go?

    Thank you.

You are right, because they contain the same substance, just wrapped differently for different distributions. Labelling could certainly be clearer. Have fun!

  • Linux 32-bit. Abobe plug-in already installed. Always get looks like to your using an older version of Firefox. All talk of 64, I'm Linux 32. Need 2 plug-ins?

For a long time keep saying looks like to your using an older version of Firefox. Several times I tried to install Adobe Flash plug-in, both with Firefox and the Adobe site. I'm on Linux 32-bit, 64 no, details, that I find are for 64 bit.
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/759565
I think that the problem might be here, but I do not see the solution for 32 bit. Looks like only maybe 2 plug-ins? Anyway I need help.
It is a problem with all the extra steps with the question you can imagine. I tried from scratch with Firefox, not working, more like 52 card pick up... if you know this game.
I want a solution if you have a. Thank you.

I had the problem solved. Thank you for your help. I had to get help from an engineer, I know. It's fast enough, but it looked like he deleted the old and installed the new and it seemed that perhaps the launch could have the issue? Not exactly, it's almost as if the launch was set for the old version... but don't want to send someone on the cause of the bad way, I don't know, but he later installed to firefox 38.1 or another... the 29. SOLVED. Thank you for taking the time to help. It was frustrating problem.

  • Compatibility T440S OS and linux (Debian |) Mint | Fedora) (64-bit versions)

    Hello

Hello, I am a little lost. I bought a T440S a few months ago. When I bought it, I tried to install a distribution: linux debian amd64 wheezy. Nevertheless, I had a lot of problems. Then, I ran Ubuntu. Today, I would like to know if I can go back to Debian or other distributions such as Mint or Fedora (64-bit versions). I need to use the identification of the finger, and I do not have a touch screen.

So, could you give me some advice, please .

I thank you and wish you a good day/evening/night (this is the night, I live in france ).

    Hello

I run Fedora 20 x 64 on both my T440s and T440p in a dual-boot configuration. RHEL distributions require a bit of work, once installed as opposed to Ubuntu / Mint that require very little attention. I have no experience with the installation of Debian, so I can't comment on that.

But 20 Fedora works like a charm in all directions and the only thing that I really need to configure the ClickPad. My 440 model s is an i7 with no touchscreen FHD.

  • Flash Player indicates that my version is obsolete, but I installed the latest version available for linux 64 bits.

Sorry, your computer does not have the latest version of Flash Player installed.

Please proceed to step 2. (Your last version11.2.202.577 Version21.0.0.182)

Then, after following the instructions for step 2:

NOTE: Adobe Flash Player 11.2 will be the last version of target Linux as a supported platform. Adobe will continue to provide backports of security Flash Player 11.2 for Linux.

    Version 11.2.202.577

In my opinion, Flash Player does not make that my version is obsolete, when I have the latest being available for my platform.

    Hello

I doubt that web sites use the widget 'Check now' to check the latest version of Flash Player.  Content providers more to define their content to use a specific version of Flash, especially if this version contains some features that they use in their game/application, not necessarily the most recent version.  One option is to use Google Chrome which incorporates Flash Player and use the latest major version (21).  PPAPI plugin is also supported on Ubuntu for Chrome browsers (Opera, for example).  If you use Ubuntu and are not opposed to the opera, it is another option.

  • When released the 64 bit version of Firefox to the main channel?

When released the 64 bit version of Firefox to the main channel? I thought it was supposed to be released when version 39 came out, but I must have been confused.

No version passed was a guarantee of having Win64 for liberation, but more of an opportunity or that there has been speculation that Win64 builds on the beta channel from 37.0b2 build target.

I guess you mean the Win64 (64-bit for Windows) and not on Mac OSX and Linux built which has 64-bit commercial for Firefox 4.0 versions both because easier to do and that it.

If all goes well the Firefox 41.0 will be the first version to have Win64 rests alongside the 32 bit Windows builds.

Win64 version was planned no version of Firefox. Then, on short notice for a brief period of a few weeks before Fx 40.0 version Mozilla thought to Win64 Fx 40.0 release but was changed to 41.0 Fx.

Two things of note for versions of Firefox Win64 starting 41,0 + release. Only 64-bit Flash Player is white listed to run in Firefox Win64. Seconed we need 64-bit Windows 7, 8.x and 10 as the 64-bit Windows XP, Vista and server cannot run Win64 builds from Firefox 37.0 + development relies.

  • where can I get firefox 64-bit versions? where can I get older versions of firefox?

    It's really frustrating.

After the installation of Iceweasel 20 of my distribution is no longer restore previous session at startup.

My distribution is no longer firefox 18 door which was the previous version. He wears an iceweasel 10 version that does not have this problem.

Of course, the problem is not reproducible with fresh profile but I don't want a darn empty profile. I want my story.

And download 64-bit version or an earlier version of firefox from mozilla.com is almost impossible. No links are provided. You can try the best a random URL in the hope that you find the one that leads somewhere.

You can get versions of Linux 64-bit from the FTP server.

The regular download page offers only 32-bit versions, but these version will work on 64-bit and Linux if you have 32-bit versions of all the plugins and libraries.

  • When can we expect to see a 64-bit version of Skype?

He would be very happy to be able to run Skype in 64-bit, as I have the ubuntu 64-bit, is there a time limit to do this?

I can't understand how to insert the "Infinity" symbol, so I refrain from the estimate of the number of years until that materializes a 64-bit version. Instead, I direct you to Google GTalk, which has plugins for chrome for voice / video calls under linux and also an android that uses push notification client, so do not use all your battery in two hours. Give up on Skype. They gave you around verion 2.2 (beta version).

Usually, when you choose Server - Oracle Service Bus Extension for example single domain topology - 11.1.1.3 [Oracle_OSB1], dependencies are selected automatically as well.

If this is not the case, simply add the products that it is seems to indicate the error, such as Oracle Service Bus GOSA Extension - 11.1.1.3 [Oracle_OSB1].

  • SOA 11g on linux 64-bit installation

    Hi, all ~

Looking for clarify some things when we want to install SOA 11 g on linux 64-bit (in my case, Oracle Unbreakable Linux 5.5)...

If the WLS Installer is 32-bit (which I'm assuming based on her name: wls1033_linux32.bin), and if opt you for a virtual machine JAVA (or other) installed when installing WLS, does that mean that you get a 32-bit JAVA virtual machine?

If so, should a person manually install a 64-bit JVM in order to proceed with the installation of 11 g SOA?

I ask because I just install WLS with a JRockit JVM in a test environment, and when I go to install 11g (by running: stage/ofm_soa_generic_11.1.1.2.0/Disk1/runInstaller) and specifying the newly installed JVM (/ u01/app/oracle/product/fmw/jrockit_160_17_R28.0.0-679), I have the following error:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: cannot load the library: /tmp/OraInstall2010-07-27_12-00-32PM/oui/lib/linux64/liboraInstaller.so

The liboraInstaller.so file is available in the specified directory and the user that I run the installer as it is the owner of this file.

... I see nothing in the guide of enterprise deployment or other installation guides have to install a 64-bit JVM, but that I see this error, I can't help but think to myself that if I have a 32-bit JAVA virtual machine and the 11g installation program attempts to access a file .so 64-bit, that would be probably a very similar to this error.

I'm on the right track here, or is the error I see totally unrelated to the JVM versions?

    Thank you

    -Nathan

Try to install the 64-bit version of JRockit, define your JAVA_HOME/path and then use Setup generic weblogic (the one you mentioned is the 32-bit version). This should be the 64-bit JVM.
