• App ICS update problem

  Hello

  After update to ICS yesterday, whenever I change my phone and turn it back on, various updates to the app that have been previously installed are gone and I get a notification that the updates are available. Go to the game store, I see that all of the updates I previously must be put back.

  There were 13 apps that have had this problem, some pre-installed and some of mine. Do not think that I asked to be moved to the SD card.

  Anyone else having the same problem?

  Any ideas how to fix?

  Hi I'm looking for help here.

  I have a unique configuration that I used on Windows XP for a long time.
  but I can't make it work on windows 7.

  Here's the Setup program.

  The connection would be shared on the router. so, all of the devices in my house can also get internet.

  But in windows 7, I am unable to do this.

  On Windows XP, I just had to click Network Setup Wizard.

  I actually use an almost identical installation at the present time;

  3G dongle > XP box > router/AP access > network

  I also had a Windows 7 implemented under the node of the ICS without problem - I'll have to see if I remember how to do it.

  Select the Dongle adapter in network connections - right click and select Properties

  On the sharing tab, put a checkmark in the box "allow other network users...". ", and then select any wired network is connected to the incoming router ethernet port.

  Make sure that the router is set to 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0 IP and mask

  I tried several times to update to ICS, but I can't download the software package!

  When I try this at home, I get about one-fifth of the full download before he says "could not download the software.

  Have you tried to install the application "Fixer WiFi"? I can just guess that your WiFi connection is unstable and station service app download recovery (all?) may not be very robust.

  Personally, I had no problem download & install the update (in addition, there is some messagebox after update).

  Are you sure, that there is enough free space on your shelf for download? (Shouldn't need more than 1 GB)

  Optimize your WiFi connection. Put the Tablet next to the router during the download. If this does not help, try to check (i.e. with a laptop and software, or the router can have such a function) what are the channels (2, 4 GHz) have probably never served in your neighborhood and try to reconfigure the router to use a channel of the less/not used.

• Touchscreen ICS problem

  Hello. Im having problems with my touch panel specifically on the lower part of the Tablet when you put on the fashion landscape or across the front camera when you put on the fashion portrait. I noticed it right after the update to my table 3.2 in ICS r5. I don't really know what is happening but I can not use my Tablet right now. Some of my friends suggested me to refresh or update the touch panel. This is why im asking here guys please tell me how to upgrade these things. or if not, can you please include in your future deployment of updates. And Yes, I contacted by e-mail support team which redirect me to their phone support who suggested to perform a soft reset via the reset button or factory reset via the settings mode but this still does not resolve the problem. I can't send my Sony tablet because im living here in the Philippines and the sony repair centers based here refused to accept the Tablet because they can't, really makes my life very difficult. I can turn on anyone except leave online help because there is no one that I have here in the Philippines, because they do not support sony s shelf. IM scared to send my tablet to unofficial repair centers or some random stalls to get it repaired.

• Problems to get my Vista PC to connect with my Xbox 360 with an ics connection.

  I have a HTC Touch Pro phone on the Sprint network.  I have their phone as modem data unlimited.  I'm attempting to use ICS to share my internet connection through my laptop using my HTC Touch Pro as a modem.  I get a message saying, "an error occurred while internet connection sharing was being enabled."  Ideas or suggestions on how to get this up and running?

  You can try the steps below and check if the problem is resolved.

  Click Start, click Run, type services.msc and click OK. To activate a service, look for it in the right pane, double-click its entry. Don't forget that its Startup Type is set to automatic, and then click OK. All the following services must be configured to use ICS,

  Connection sharing services Internet (ICS) needs to function properly:
  1. the base filtering engine of
  2. remote Procedure Call (RPC)
  3 DCOM Server process Launcher
  4. network connections
  5. service of Network Store Interface
  6 DCOM Server process Launcher
  7 remote Access Connection Manager
  8 phone
  9. Windows Management Instrumentation.

  After checking and automatic startup for each of these services configuration, close the Services window and restart the computer, and look for the issue that you are facing.

• problem with the firewall/ics service after xp sp3 installed (internet connection sharing)

  a humming with no problem.  recently purchased office 2010 and, if necessary, to upgrade to xp sp3 to install.  SP3 installed, now unable to connect.  can not turn on the windows firewall.

  When I try to activate the windows firewall I get the following message:

  Windows cannot start the windows firewall/internet connection (ICS) sharing service

  read some other solutions, but some seem to be beyond my skill level and/or are related to an sp2 update.  wanted to know if there is a more current solution.  any help much appreciated.

• Xperia Ray: Problems updating to ics!

  I try to install ics on my phone, the pc companion indicates an update is available, but it never ends it!

  I continue with the steps but it still gives me an error without "prepare"!

  What would be the problem?

  Disable firewall, antivirus... (allow full access to the pc companion and the SUS)

  Start PC in safe mode with networking (press F8 during startup and select Safe mode + networking on)

• Problem with music player and from the Gallery after the ICS update

  Hello everyone, after I've updated my bow (lt15i) to ICS 4.0.4, i found a few bugs on the music player and the Gallery

  (1) if I add some photos on the SD card, it shows no not on Gallery (Gallery Xperia and ICS Gallery)

  (2) if I add music on SD card, also not shown on the music player, so I have to use Explorer to find and play, it's very annoying

  I tried to erase the music player data, but no results and I tried to use third party applications (Jetaudio or Google Play Music) but it is same

  Anyone have problem like me? What can I do to fix that?

  I have improved my s bow to ics, 4 days ago, I used google play for the first time after the update today. It closes at the start. I checked the accounts and sync, my google account is not there, the whole list is just... empty. I tried the installation guide, at the stage they ask to connect to services and sync, I clicked on the google button and click and click, click, nothing, all other icons work (like facebook), I searched for gmail app, does not exist... Seems too late to ask for help but im repair my phone using the pc companion now, hope everything works again... just turned on my phone, I have the feeling that nothing will change... really sad that Sony didn't know what... I can not access google services at all... just weird

  I went through these steps. I was able to install the drivers APX and when I do I get something like the following. «Windows found driver but cannot install it.»  The specified file is not found. "I tried the two zip rooted and nonrooted.

  So I looked for APX drivers elsewhere. I found them here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22312566 (2nd post)

  I installed the drivers very well. I went back to the khanning station and tried to continue on installation.

  It starts and stops at the ' formatting partition UDA 12 Please wait.. '. fact! »

  I think you are talking about the same problem which has been reported previously, on the 32-bit drivers included in the ICS and JB ROM updates   I copied the previously displayed summary below.  Note that this is how the drivers were packed when khanning got them; It has just included in the package.

  If you talk to install the windows install the drivers (NvidiaUsb.inf) to a nvflash to K1, there is a known issue with the package for 32-bit Windows systems. In the NvidiaUsb.inf file, in the section titled "Section Source Media", he gives the name of the subfolder for the 32-bit drivers as "\i386. However, in the zip file, this 32-bit driver subfolder is named 'x 86 '. To correct the problem, either unpack the zip file, then the subfolder to rename the "x 86" (in the "drivers" folder) in the "i386", or even change the "NvidiaUsb.inf" (in the "drivers" folder) of the file and change the line that says "1 = % DISK_NAME%,,,\i386" instead of saying "\x86' at the end. Assuming you are on a 32-bit Windows system, try to install it again and it should work.

  Note on installation, stopping at Partition 12 - many people have managed everything by repeating the installation, sometimes 2 or 3 times.  I don't think that the problem is related to the Windows drivers.

  Until today motocast on my Razr Maxx was working properly, but now when I try to access my files on my PC in "my files" app on my phone, it starts the configuration process and said that my email or password has changed! It asks me to login with my password, I did several times without success!

  I do not change my email or password on my account Motocast.
