List all tabs button is missing

This button has just disappeared all of a sudden. I have now a single group of tabs, and I can't reach any 3 other groups I had before this happened.

I tried to close and restart Firefox, which did not help. I tried to restore the profile of last week. It worked at first, but then I clicked on the "list all tabs" button, went to another group of tabs and Bingo-TEST - lost the "list all tabs" button once again!

It is extremely annoying. I am now using a profile restored, but I can't click the "list all tabs" button more without losing all the tabs but those in the Group of tabs I'm going. So I didn't actually tab groups more!

Hello, the list of all tabs button appears only when you have several tabs open, so that all does not fit into the space on the tape tabs.

to toggle the display of the tab view where you can edit groups of tabs, you can either controls, buttons and Toolbars Customize Firefox & place the groups tabsn ' anywhere on the interface or else use keyboard shortcut ctrl + shift + E.

You will see only the "List all tabs" button in Firefox 12 + if it has that many tabs open you get the scroll bar tab buttons appearing.

  • MY button "List all tabs" disappeared, how do I get that back?

I used to have a small arrow in the top right corner of my screen called 'list all tabs' when I clicked it, it gave me a drop down of all my open tabs. Somehow he disappeared and I do not know how to retrieve
I tried to go in customize, but could not find it.
    Help, please!

This appears only if you have enough tabs open. IIRC the default value is 7.

Once you have several tabs that they will not all display and you'll get the appearing scroll arrows which allow you to see the hidden tabs and the small arrow below to display the drop-down list.

If you do not have a lot of tabs open, but no arrow, try Firefox in its safe mode

Maybe you have a few add-on to interfere

  • Where the option close multiple tabs? It has been a right-click in the function 'list all tabs '. Now it's gone!

Well although I figured out how to get the toolbar tab back where it should, at the bottom where easy access to him, but now I see that the option "Close all other tabs" that was in the right click menu of the arrow 'List all tabs' has disappeared.

Is there anyway to get that back? This design change is really not as good as 3.5. Also say that that person can slow down. Who can understand what it says?

    Thank you!

In Firefox 4, the tab bar is a regular toolbar and which causes the toolbar context menu show if you right-click.

You can right click on the tab that you want to keep to "close other tabs".

  • How can I keep the "Open all tabs" button appear all of a sudden on my taskbar?

There is a little weird problem which continues to be in my Firefox browser. It involves my taskbar and happens almost every time I use Firefox. Not sure when it started, seems like after that I upgraded to 11.0 FF but don't hold me to that. In any case, here is what I see behind my buttons of windows and applications open in my taskbar, I can see part of another button that is labeled as 'open all tabs '. Every so often, the button actually displays in front of my other buttons on the taskbar. I have my OS (Windows7 (64-bit) set to run with the best performance and Classic view if that could make a difference. I also note more frequent periods of FF becomes out of order, when I opened the Task Manager and close FF, the dialog box shows that it is 3 windows open when I have only 2 browser windows open.

Please check if this happens in a new profile. If the new profile is correct, you can later copy the necessary personal data of the old profile. Firefox stores your personal data and settings in a different location (folder profile) separated from its files/folder. A new profile would default Firefox settings (Tools (Alt + T) > Options, and topic: config ) and usually also would be vacuum of Extensions and themes (appearance) in tools > Add-ons) and their parameters. In addition, a new profile would have no previous website stored data/settings etc, (Tools > clear recent history).

  • Firefox 4 the "Close tab" button is missing from the "File" menu drop-down

In Firefox 4, the "Close tab" button appears not in the "file" pull down.

This button appears in Firefox 3.6.16 but is now gone.

I need when I have two windows open, each with one tab open and I want to close a window.

The only option presented to me is "Quit", that closes both windows...

It would be good [if they insist on the order being missing] to have SOMETHING beyond the CTRL-W command [which fortunately works again]. I thought it was a windows application and not BACK. I hope that the command is available in a menu drop down, especially because it has a long history of existence in a rational place.

It will be interesting justify how to remove a menu command dropdown is somehow "better".

  • My 'new tab' button is missing, it is not among the others in the "Customize" menu Is it possible to bring him back next page arrows?

I mean, I'm using the same version of Firefox on a similar to cpmputer, and I do not have the "new tab" aviable.

I know there are other ways to open a new tab, but really I preffer it.

I tried everything, but I'm stuck. Help appreciated.

    Thank you.

You can find the button new tab showing as a '+' on the tab bar.

You can open the Customize and drag the new tab, button of the toolbar tabs on another toolbar and it will become a regular tools like the new button bar button tab you have in versions of Firefox 3.

If you would like the button tab at the right end of the tab bar then put a hose to the left of it.

  • Why all the close tab buttons are missing?

Yesterday, I was using Firefox 25.0.1 without any problem. Today, I launched Firefox, only to discover that the buttons [X] for the tabs have disappeared! Instead, I saw a single button [x] on the right side of the tab bar, that closes the active tab. There is no changes/updates I made to Firefox between yesterday and today. I checked the browser.tabs.closeButtons setting and seen that it is always set to 1. Change it has no effect. What is going on?
    Thank you

I have this same problem. Firefox 25.0.1 worked well, with tabs as usual, until a few hours ago, when they simply disappeared. As the OP, I have the "Hide Tab Bar with a tab" extension. I disabled it and the ' x was immediately visible once again, so there must be something with the extension itself which causes make them disappear.

The developer of this extension says that the next update should take care of it, and it should be in the next few hours or maybe a day. You can see this exchange here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hide-tab-bar-with-one-tab/reviews/

  • The 'new tab' button is missing

I just installed Firefox 6 but is no longer on the screen the little tab on the right of the open tab. I can only open a new tab with Ctrl + T (or the file & new tab). All of the obvious settings that I need to select to get that back? Thank you.

    Hello!

You can now customize all list items in the Navigation toolbar. Take a look at this article to learn how: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars

  • Missing list arrow tab

This is unrelated to the topic. It is absent when it is by the tab bar, but it's there on the line of the address bar. "Tab groups" is not affected. There is no need to restore the default value.

You will see only the list all tabs button if there isn't that many tabs open you get the scroll bar tab buttons appearing.

  • How to get firefox show all tabs?

How to get firefox show all tabs, like the other browsers, without scrolling and addons (TabMix and others)?

You can use the code in userChrome.css to set a lower minimum width for normal tabs (not pinned APP) to have several visible tabs on the tab bar.

The problem is that Firefox 13 + shows is no longer a list all tabs button, unless the scroll buttons are visible, so it can be difficult to locate the other tabs.
You would need to hover a tab to display the tool tip if you don't see the label.

  • In FF4, what happened to the button 'to bookmark all tabs "? Miss me it! Or is it still there?

Once upgraded to FF4 a few weeks ago I was surprised to find that, under the "bookmarks" tab in the toolbar option 'to bookmark all tabs"is gone with this new version. I'm a big user of this feature and Miss because I'm used to labels and many windows open. For normal stopping and restarting is not a problem. But if I intend to run (some) public services add each of the open windows to prevent them from be removed by the utility.

    Thank you

"Bookmark all tabs" is no longer present in the menu bookmarks and now only are accessible through the context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

  • With the help of the button reduce screen loses all tabs and normal settings.

    Using Firefox on Windows 7 64 b 32.0.3

If I click on the button cut (top-right) when I click on the Firefox button in the taskbar of all tabs that were there disappear and cannot be brought back. Also, I have 2 sites, I set to start when Firefox is open: it is my homepage (using protopage) and the other is my e-mail address for Google mail. Two tabs are defined as locked and protected and also the Google tab is set to "pin". All these parameters have disappeared and Google mail is still missing after starting Firefox again. This does not happen if Firefox is closed and started again as everything that was on the browser tabs is the as if it was when he was arrested. It is a fairly recent passing (last month) I don't remember having this problem before. All this is done using the Firefox button in the taskbar.

No idea why Firefox does to reduce and not to close down?

I got the new tab next to open tabs button, but with a recent update of Firefox, the tab button disappeared. Went through all the help points, but how do I add the new Help tab is not listed. Hello

It could be that he is hidden behind another icon. Please try this: right click on the empty space after the last tab and Customize.... With the mini window open, you can move the other toolbars and icons to check if the new tab button is hidden. You can also check inside the mini window customize the icon named new tab or click Restore Default Set that will be hopefully restore back. Please note that if nothing is uninstalled or disabled when you click on restore by default, you will have to redo all changes to manual/personal toolbar.

  • Miss me the new tab button. Why?

I use version 21.0. The new tab button appears in the bookmarks toolbar, but not with the open tabs. Why?

Use the toolbar (Customize) to open the Customize and set the toolbar to display items.

    • Firefox menu button > Options > toolbars
    • View > toolbars > customize
    • If the missing elements are in the toolbar palette then drag them from the window, customize the toolbar
    • If you do not see an item on a toolbar in the toolbar palette and then click the button "Restore default" to restore the default toolbar configuration

You can check the problems caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file if the above didn't help.
